I love the video you seem like such a positive guy. Very inspiring to see you build something like Oona completely by yourself, I want to code something software like that in the future. Just subbed. Have you read the book "The Lean Startup"? It is a great book about designing a product and verifying what features are holding you back or what features you need to push you forward. Alex Hormozi is a great influencer on youtube who creates content about outreach and sales and product and things like that. He would probably have some really good info that you could use. At 5:02 you show credit card details just a heads up.
wow, thank you so much! i’m really happy you liked the video! i read the book a long time ago. i’ll read again to get some inspo. alex’s content sounds super awesome too. exactly what i need rn! it was a testing credit card info from stripe but thanks so much to point it out. very kind of you!
"Hi! I really loved how quickly you coded at the beginning of your video. It was impressive! I was wondering if you could make a full video showing your process while working on a project. It would be really great to see more of that in action. Thank you!"
I have been watching your videos for a while, and they are really amazing 💯💯. Figuring out pricing there are two main way, probably look at what competitiors are offering or you can just try some prices until the best one clicks up(Some people do this by asking survays to users by gathering feedbacks from them). I hope this helps.
1 month later, how has this worked? I understand how free trials can really hurt the bottom line especially if most of your traffic ends up being free users. Great video by the way! edit: I am following your new videos now, I see you are pivoted from this one. I am curious as I am working on my own solo-dev app and I don't think I can afford to give a free tier but I also want customers.
thanks for asking! so far the paywall definitely put a cap on mau but it allows me to focus on the customers. i’m about to experiment different ways to improve conversions and share with you all!
Awesome video, loved the coziness of it. I'm also in the middle of trying to launch a Sass for language learning. Currently sitting at 20 paid customers. Are you trying to learn German by any chance ? :D
some of the yt channels are linked to auto generated emails that don't point to an inbox so i added the verification. appreciate you brainstorming with me!
how bout let people get a certain functions free then make them addicted with it. With this kinda tool reminds me of tradingview for stocks where they limited me to 10 companies to follow but the flow and how easy it is to use made me subscribe to their service. Hope it helps subbed btw
thanks for the suggestion! curious what stands out in tradeview for you? is there a big contrast in ux between tradeview and the other tools in the market?

btw, any reason you don't use cursor?
also, I don't think you need to verify email if you do Google sign in. It would make it so you have less friction when users sign up
appreciate it brother! i'm such a slow adapter but i'm definitely gonna try it now🚀
