Jasmine Chiswell drinks at Pacific Seas

- Recently the manager of Cliftons Republic in DTLA reached out to me about recording our little show in their tiki bar, the gorgeous Pacific Seas! And what incredible timing that this is also our 20th(!!) episode.
I thought that if we were gonna have the opportunity to record at Pacific Seas, I ought to make the most of it and find a model to photograph there as well. I can't begin to tell you the ride that Jasmine Chiswell has been on for the last few months... It's a hell of a story. And she's super fun... and Scottish! Just watch the show! Aloha!
To make Pacific Seas' Tradewinds cocktail:
--------------------------------------
2oz fresh lemon juice
1 1/2oz coconut cream
1 1/2oz apricot brandy
1 1/2oz light Puerto Rican rum
1 1/2oz dark Jamaican rum
Blend with ice until slushy. Garnish with mint and a cocktail umbrella turned inside out.

I just made this drink and I was pleasently surprised. I used the Bacardi 8 and Appleton Estate Signature Blend. The drink is much sweeter than I would have thought but it's delicious. I'll give it 90%.
Seeing the both of you in the boat, I kept thinking, looks like a backstory to Gilligan's Island.
Damn I miss Clifton's!!! Great Video Spike!!! I like the fact that Jasmine had never visited before and we got to see her reaction.🤯 That's the same reaction I had and I'm pretty sure everyone gets when they discover that place. Please tell the manager there, they have to open during the day once the pandemic is over. Clifton's is too good of an experience for it just to be a nightclub. There are a lot of elderly people who were kids when their parents took them to visit Clifton's. They should always be able to visit there and share that experience with their grand or great grand children. Families should always be able to experience Clifton's because it's such a wonderful place. There's no place like it. It is very unique. Plus Clifton's would be making MORE MONEY if they opened during the day. Not to mention the tourist that would visit them. It's a win win situation!!! Everybody wins!!!!

Just discovered the channel recently and have been binging. Have been a tiki fanatic since I had my first virgin pina colada as a kid at WDW Polynesian Resort. Heres to hoping this channel blows up, the amount of effort and quality you put into your videos warrants tenfold the amount of views. Okole maluna!

Hey spike just wanted to let you know the recipe in the description is different from what was done in the video. Description says 1 1/2 Oz dark rum for one serving. In the video you mixed 2 Oz dark rum for two servings. Just wanted to point this out since following the recipe is important. 4 out of 50 drinks down on our end. keep up the great work!
Ah! Yeah thanks for pointing that out. The recipe in the description is correct. It's rare, but sometimes things get funny when filming! 😣🤷🏻♂️
