One of my Guinea pigs Buttercup had hair loss for the longest time on her back and I've been using Sherwood pellets for 3 months now and her hair has completely regrown. She never had mites or anything. I believe she was allergic to the cane molasses or some type of grain. I am so thankful you recommended this food. I am beyond amazed and words of how happy I am with it. I love you and your babies so much. You have helped me through so many things. I appreciate you more than I can say.

I have been keeping cherry tomatoes in the fridge my whole life...they are perfectly fine! I have the EXACT same routine in the morning as you :) My piggies were probably mad at me today...I didn't hear my alarm this morning and by the time I woke up I only had 10 minutes to get ready and go! I didn't even have time to go downstairs by the piggies! They were very happy to see me when I got home tonight though...and surprisingly, the cages weren't all that bad! :) And just something I thought I would share, it's kind of weird. Last night I had an awful nightmare and you and the piggies were in it! Here's how it went: so you and I were best friends and I came over to your house one day...you offered for me to clean the cages (because it was cage cleaning night, Friday) while you watch. I was so excited!! (Even though I have 7 piggies myself and do the exact same thing as you everyday). But when we got downstairs where the piggies are we found Huckle dead. We were both crying so hard. What a weird nightmare!
Love seeing all the piggies ☺️❤️. My baby Peach is finally getting better and growing her hair back around her eyes after a fungal infection and two vet visits later ☺️ it’s just nice to not worry too much and be able to rehouse her with her sister Sugar..So much credit to you taking good care of all these babies. Much love ❤️
Haven’t commented before, but I think I’m all caught up on past videos, and enjoy new ones as soon as they come out. You are an epic piggie mum that I aspire to be, and I just wanted to say thank you for everything you’ve taught me! Love you, love the piggies, (hi Littlefoot!) love the bun bun, loveee the tattoos girl! If I missed it, please forgive me. But if you haven’t made one, could you do a video on grass and forage and such? I am so nervous about picking anything for the piggies, but I know they love it. Please continue to educate us Americans for our piggies...I have a hard time even finding them decent hay here! And I don’t know what a dandelion leaf looks like. Help!

How early do you have to get up in the mornings before work to take care of the piggies? Do you clean them once or twice a day? Just curious because I am NOT a morning person and if I had to leave early in the morning it would be so hard to wake up super early! Haha

I hate mornings. I get up 30-45 minutes earlier to look after the pets in the morning before I have to go to work or go out. I spot clean in the morning and at night every day.

Try keeping the herbs bunched in a cup of water (like a bouquet) it keeps them fresher longer.

vegan eats Absolutely! You can do it with a suprising amount of things. I have experimented with entire heads of broccoli when it started to get a little bit droopy I just trimmed the base a little bit and stuck it in some water and it perked right up. You can also do it I imagine with whole heads of lettuce and cabbages just don't leaf it and then put the base in some water and it keeps it fresher for longer. Oh and celery. The possibilities are endless LOL.

We switched to the grass completely now. So I have new routine when I go foraging for piggies.
Out of my 2 bunnies, neither care for cucumber and my female bun prefers green pepper to the others. She will eat them but she leaves them until last and waits until a bit later to eat them. My male bun jyst eats it all... lol

UGHH i can totally relate to the frustrations of bar chewing. my pigs do it ALL the time. if they want food, attention or anything thats what they do. no matter how many chew toys i put in they dont touch them!

I tried switching to Sherwood and it was a huge fail. The first couple of days of mixing it in went great, then all of a sudden they went off all their pellets completely. One pig was fine and upped his hay intake, but my small runty pig went off almost everything. He even got picky with his veggies. He lost a ton of weight really fast to the point where he was skin and bones almost and his poops were almost nonexistent. I started feeding critical care right away, every 2 hours when I was able. When I was at work I’d leave and come home from lunch and feed him as much as he’d take. I tossed all the pellets from the dish, completely washed it and started fresh and on their regular schedule and it took about a week but I finally weened him back off the critical care and back onto their oxbow pellets. He’s eating everything fine now and has a pudgy tummy again, normal poops and is active again. I will definitely not be trying that again. I was so scared I was going to lose him 😭 I love the idea of the Sherwood pellets, but not if trying to change is going to risk the life of one of my boys.
I would have been going to the vet for that, sounds like a medical issue, not something that happens from switching pellets.
Could you do a video on what fruits are ok to give your Guinean pigs? I usually just stay safe with carrots and things like that... thanks for any help!

People are so lucky to have guinea pigs that aren't really picky eaters. All mine eat are cos lettuce and carrot. If I put anything else in there it just gets ignored.
Skinnypigs1 what viggies give soft poos? My female she is younger like 9 or 10 months and I give her and my other pig V-c tabs at night and digestive tabs in the morning, they get the same veggies and they both get Timothy hay... they get oxbow hay and pellets. Also her poos like like mouse poop lol, and his are huge

hi! i’m somewhat new to this channel, but i LOVE it! i was wondering what the minimum cage size for two boars is?? i have two and they are getting a long but are rumblestrutting and humping each other a lot and i’m wondering if the cage size is too small.
28 by 70 inches is the minimum I would do. Mine is 42 by 70 inches for my pair of males.

My next door neighbour's are soooo mean to there guinea pigs they just rely on the kid who has no thought to watch them but he chucks them around and leaves them to run around in the back yard where he makes them only eat the grass no veggies and there is a pregnant girl who gets held and annoyed sooo much i feel so sorry for them god is the only one keeping them alive

I came back from out of town on Monday and I noticed my youngest guinea pig had a crusty Eye runny poops was all over him and he was dragging his right leg please tell me what to do I don't know what to do I'm really worried if you know how to help then please reply on this comment

Animals9639 Riba u should only neuter males if u are going to keep him with a female or for major health issues eg. Cancer. Neutering doesnt change any behavioral aspects of a male unlike other species. If u need to neuter find an experienced vet! And google it, theres some greag piggy forums with lots of good info 👍
