I really like the SST Travel Rods. I have the long Spinner but haven't tried the BC line yet. Like you pointed out made extremely well with that long strong spigot ferrule design. For those that are afraid to use travel rods as your main, don't be. I've been doing that for years. I've nothing but good praises and reviews for them:) Nice review.
haven't finished the video but i appreciate it already man! Im thinking of settling on this as my first swimbait rod. originally i didn't want to go over 7'5, but that's hard to find and the 7'11 heavy is a good range + it breaks down!

They’re definitely a great option for the traveler.
Finally a good review on this rod!! How do you feel they did on the lure rating? Can this rod truly handle 5-6oz baits?
First off, thank you. I appreciate the kind words. Okuma is generally pretty good on lure ratings. Should be good to go on 5-6oz baits.
I need one for my trip to Miami in February.
@@Carl_Black I’ll have mine in Miami in February as well for the boat show 😊

@@DA.234 They are really nice rods and do feel like a one piece rod. You’ll like it!
