That Destroyer P5 Mk 56 is the most versatile rod that I own. 6" Magdrafts, TK's, Spro Chad Shads, Golden Belts, Big M 2.0s. It impressed me so much that I bought a second one to fish topwater baits with Mono. One spooled with Fluorocarbon, one with Mono. Thanks for introducing me to the MK-56.
“Wow Geoff, cool video”…. My first ever swimbait fish was off the gantarel JR. This channel has helped me catch countless fish in these tough AZ ponds. Thanks man
Great video, i was going thru my older swimbaits and ran across a ganteral and forgot how nice the action was with it. And boom 💥 your video has the same bait. I definitely watched the whole video to see your style of fishing it. Thanks Geoff. I forgot the color name of mine, it's darker black with blue stripes and orange highlights.
Always appreciate how you explain baits and techniques. Truly a skill not everyone has. I feel like I always learn something whether it’s a bait I throw or not.
Cool video indeed. I think the price is fair for getting quality. I’m a realistic type of guy so the paint jobs are magnificent. The barrel swivel is so key and definitely a favorite added mechanic of mine.
A great job on showing us how to use and improve our swimbait game. That swimbait looks so good. Thank you for always sharing on the great tips on how to fish swimbaits at there best!
"Wow Geoff, cool video" In all seriousness, I really appreciate your tips on how to fish it. The biggest challenge for a new swimbaiter is figuring out how make it swim correctly. Great video and verbal description!
wow Jeff, Cool Video. I really love your analysis on swimbaits and it makes me want to push even more to get these fish and catch them either on a glidebaits or swimbaits. love from germany, keep it up Jeff!!!
Nice video! The Gantarel is a great bait. I've caught a lot of nice fish with it in that same color you have in the video. It's nice for fishing shallow around cover especially.
Great content! I'm new in the bass fishing realm and have been hesitant to try a swimbait. I'm definitely going to look into getting one of these and trying it out.
I just turned 48 today and I started two years ago learning how to fish swimbait and glidebait. Started off with an S-Waver 168 just so I can figure it out. Inexpensive and easy to cast and use once ingot the cadence down right on the gear I had available. Then moved on to some Savage Gear glides and currently, dare I say, a 6th Sense Draw 6.5 and Flow Glider. I modified the Flow Glider by shaving the joints to get a choppier glide. I actually like them both, but absolutely right now my confidence glide is that Draw 6.5. I want to start buying the more expensive baits, but still hesitant to pull the trigger. What would be a good upper level glide that's still within $100-$150 that has more elite action? TIA
“Wow Geoff, cool video!” I just got into swimbait fishing not too long ago and find a lot of your content to be useful. So, thanks! I still haven’t caught my first swimbait bass. Hooked one that jumped and threw the lure. I honestly thought I was snagged until it started fighting. I get the feeling it will happen soon though.🤞🏽
Wow Geoff, cool video! I love you analysis on the baits you featured on your channel. The information you have provided have been very valuable for me to get my first set up.
Sweet video Geoff.... I picked up a Gantarel Jr from Hook Up a few months ago. Have yet to tie it on. Your video just made me finally go use it... thanks man. Hope there is less knockoffs at ICast this year. Have fun
the double split rings are to prevent the belly hook from catching on the fins, I tried removing one of the rings on the Jr size and i would have issues with the hook getting caught on the fins on the cast
I'm going to try out the jr size. I just started getting into freshwater fishing. Going to use my saltwater seabass setups. United composites 711L with a tranx 200 or Calcutta 200 . Or my Daiwa Proteus inshore mh with a Lexa 300hd or luna 300 for the heavier swimbaits.
Wow Geoff cool video Thank you for always taking the time to explain all the little details and really helping us understand every aspect of the bait or technique that you are demonstrating. I’ve pretty much switched all my tackle shopping over to you guys at the hook-up, your guys shop is the best in the country. Have a blessed day and keep making content your videos are some of my favorite on the tube
Just got into swim baits, lost my first 6 inch draw the first day I was out with it and already ordered my second. Definitely will be looking into these!
I really like the idea of trying the JR. on some smallmouth. I fish a lot of smallmouth rivers in the summer time here to beat the crowds and the heat.

Hi Geoff thanks for all of your videos & content! Im heading to japan soon, wanting to get a good rod to throw glides such as the K9 & 250. Is there a widely available rod you would recommend me to pick up while im there? Also is it difficult to ship a rod home to states? Appreciate any advice.
WOW GEOFF COOOOOOOOOL VIDEO!!!! Im just starting out and got the 7’9 Dobyns Fury swimbait rod and been throwing around some mag drafts and the bass pro Swerve. Haven’t caught anything on the mag but I got a 5lb’r in the swerve which is my PB 🤙

Wow cool video, Geoff! I've been subscribed for about 4 years and don't recall you covering the Ganterel. They work on bass, pike, and muskies up north. I lost my two in a fight and a submerged log in current I couldn't swim in. I hope that you enjoyed Icast 2024!
Wow Geoff, cool video! I absolutely love the Gantarel. I've only used the full size and it did well this spring in my area. I am definitely going to try to lock up that back tail segment to see if I can glide it better. Such a nice looking bait.
