I loved this tutorial. Actually I watched many other tutorials on lighting in unity, but yours turned out to be the best as all the other tutorials were being done on the previous versions of Unity, which the 2020.3 version could not understand. Thank you so much for this tutorial.
Hey there, thanks for your nice tutorial, now I wonder, what to do, if you want to use a lamp with bigger rectangular surface or a fiel of lava or something...how do you make light emitt from it rectangular...you can't use a spot or point light for something like that, can't you?
That was a really good tutorial but i have a question in my mind, why it's much more yellow in built-in render pipeline than hdrp. In hdrp it's really white in middle, and that looks bit odd.
Hi, Your tutorial always helps Thanks. I have a question Is this emission map works with legacy shaders Because my developer forcing me to use the legacy shaders.
I want to access spot light 2D through script in my 2D project after installing URP. How do I access the spot Light 2D? If the player moves the light should turn on. It’s also attached on the player. I want to know which is the component for spot light 2D so I can assign it to GetComponent and then access it through .enabled Thank you
I've wanted to ask you a question for while. In HDRP when I use emission to glow something, it completely whites out my material color. For me this is quite an undesirable effect since as an artist I need complete control over every single aspect of the visual concepts that I am trying to display in my work. The Standard Built In 3D renderer does not do this. Here is an example of what I am talking about: ibb.co/zQ2sGLm Is there any way to correct this problem at all? I've searched all over the place and no one seems to have an answer.
Go to your HDRP default settings and turn off bloom. You can also go to my discord server and check tutorial help section where I have posted a screenshot to fix this issue.

How do you get the post processing volume from scratch to make lights glow? I'm doing my own lights.
You can download the post processing stack from package manager.
Can anyone tell how to change the light texture without photoshop?
When I am using more than 3-4 spotlights on a place some spot lights are not giving light
Any solution anyone ? Pls Help
Hey , I cant find the options like emission , etc in my light component. pls help
Emission option is in object material not in light.
it's in the material properties
