Easy to do with an infinite rocket launcher. Totally impossible without it. His attacks cannot be dodged and simply pound you one after another. Even with both defense coins and both recovery coins, I can't even activate a single power source.
All of his attacks can be dodged, except for the acid/liquid, which can be avoided by constantly moving. The dodges just have to be done at the right time

Using both recovery coins the entire game will allow you to not need any healing throughout the game except for emergency situations. With this I stocked up on 10 full recovery items to use on nemesis 3. The stars book and two assault coins also help since you can perfect dodge and destroy pustules in one hit with any powerful weapons (lightning hawk, inf rocket launcher, rai-den, etc)

I was pretty much stuck on the Nightmare difficulty version of this fight, but I was able to do the thing you showed in the video, and I took it down in 3 tries! Thanks so much for showing this!
Thank you so much! This strat made all the difference for me. I went from dying withing the first 5 seconds over and over again to beating him on my second attempt using this strat. Thanks again.
Just did it. I used the magnum so I didn't get to completely speed through the other phases but it helps a lot getting it half over during the free time. Preshate it.
Yeah, the method reliably gets you three free hits on N, it's just that when you're using the rocket launcher, that's all it should take to start the next break!
I was pulling my hair out. Watched this video and got it on the 2nd try. It works. That free shot you get on him is worth it's weight in gold. I used the rocket launcher and a few health sprays.
When you get here on Nightmare expecting Hardcore Nemesis and get Bullshit mode Nemesis instead... :( Que Jason Issac's from Event Horizon: "Save yourselves...from hell."
Thank you for the guide. I tried doing this for about 20 minutes before dying 12 or so times in a row. Managed to get the S rank on inferno with about 1 minute and a half remaining. Thank you again.
Dude! Thank you so much for this, was about to throw my controller to the screen out of rage... Had to use headphones to really use the audio cue on Nemie.
Thanks for this video! I was able to beat Nemesis after 5 tries with this. Now that I got all the achievements on Steam, I'll go back to my PS4 and Xbox One copies and finish them since I left the game when it came out after I could never beat him on Inferno.
I got.impatient and stopped your method after only 3 times. Died ten times doing my own method and went back to yours. Beat him immediately. This works! Thanks for assisting on my platinum.
My dumbass decided to buy everything but the rocket launcher, I need to complete 2 challenges to get it. One of those challenges is competing inferno 😭
Yowch. If you lean on the infinite assault rifle and damage coins you can probably save up enough grenade launcher rounds to beat the fight. Just remember to reload while you're on the way to the battery/waiting for Nemesis to wake up. Good luck!
The defense coins together are pretty good against him. He has a pattern. I think after putting in 1 power source, he starts going for 4 quick strikes and then a delayed one immediately after.
@@shinokdw23 They are the same. He'll kill you in one hit in inferno if you don't have defense coins though. Two coins together, you can survive two strikes.
DroopySnail4813 watch Bawk do it. This guy takes advantage of the AOE damage of the rockets. With the G18 you just need to Git Gud and punish after dodging.
Dude. THANK YOU. Was trying to get Inferno and Inferno S Rank trophy in one go so I had an hour to beat that fight, I had only 30 minutes left after I gave up, watched this video and did It in 10 minutes. Life saver.
I've been at this for over an hour. Unlocking inferno isnt gonna happen for me. Lol I'm using the infinite pistol, grenade launcher, the deagle and the dodging book, Same result. Cant get past the first segment of the fight. I dodge his slide attacks no problem then comes then rapid slams then R.I.P. me 🤔
@@MKhavik It's still randomized, yes, but your proximity to Nemesis vastly alters the attacks he's likely to use - if you stay far away, he will definitely spam the repeated slams and kill you - if you stay close, there's a solid chance he'll lean on sweep/push/rake and you'll be able to defeat him way more easily. Also, if you aim just right, you can wipe him out while he's vulnerable and he never gets an attack in after the first set.
Thanks for this! Stuggled on my Nightmare playthrough but once I got the technique down after watching this I did it on my 2nd attempt on Inferno ! Happy days.
after literally getting crushed like 4 times prior, this video helped me big time! Key was definitely to stay closer to him rather then far back toward the rail gun where he will drum roll you to death. Also dodging a couple of attacks help! Thanks

THANK YOU!!!! My God that fight took FOREVER! After doing it over and over for probably over 2 hours and with over 100 tries this technique finally worked. To be fair I started with a tip video since I beat SEKIRO using those videos. And I even got the platinum in Sekiro and I say that game's final boss was easier than this one! Near the end I was memorizing his attacks but still didn't help me dodge them worth anything since there's barely any time to register it at all. Am I also the only one that he liked to not use the "drumroll" attack to irritate me causing so many unnecessary deaths?
this method didn't work for me. he just grabs me. i was playing on inferno mode with rocket launcher. what i did was stay in the middle and shot his pus and wait for his arms to swing from the sides and dodge. if you dodge and then aim you get a slow-motion aim which helps a lot as it also auto aims at the pus. sometimes if you shoot in the mid section of him when hes brings his body in, you can do a spread shot that hits almost all the pus
boy....I spent longer attempting this boss fight than it took to speedrun the entire rest of the story on Inferno to this point. I only had to try your method twice before I got the plat. Thanks!
Nemsis on inferno is no joke. So glad I came across your video. After 20+ deaths from his 3 hit combo that doesn’t give you time to stand up and heal I finally beat him
Thanks alot for this video. Helped me through the final boss on inferno. Worth noting, after that first switch (the one tight in the corner), it's best to do a quick back step then shoot as more often than not he still grabs you, even after shooting him quickly. Thanks again!
I have a guide for you from my observations. Basics: weapon - multiple-shot pistol or magnum, dodge or shoot only when the time is right, shoot after focusing after successfully dodging (perfect dodge), keep your distance to maximum, stand on the side where you want to push the battery, move sideways left or right (near the side of room where you have the current battery to move) while dodging, watch out for acid and scream o nemezis. Attacks of nemesis and their sequences and how you should react: 1) vertical strong attack from above - dodge and shot x1 or 2 at sensitive points 2) vertical series of blows to the ground into your direction - dodge at the last blow and shoot x1 or 2 times 3) vertical series from above with his single hands, dangerous, can stun you: attack from his left hand (nemesis's left hand, from his side), then goes right (slower) and goes right again (faster) - dodge with each attack in the series and shoot only after the last x1 or 2 times 4) vertical series from above with his single hands, dangerous, can stun you: attacks from his right hand (when hand is raised characteristically above the ground) are quick blows with his right hand (various amount, even about 6-8) ending with a short break (wait with dodge, he does it on purpose) and after it there is the final blow - dodge with each blow, and only after the last one shoot x1 or x2 times. 5) horizontal blow: starts from the side where you stand, nemesis sweeps each side with his hand about 3 times - dodge with each blow (which is on your side), and shoot x1 or x2 times only after the first one coming on your side, then only dodge the next, because after the last horizontal blow he attacks quickly vertically, there is no point in shooting, he will catch you and stun you to death 6) scream that stuns our character: distance yourself as far as possible from nemesis, and when you are stunned, try to move the character sideways with a pad or keys (then it ends faster) and immediately dodge because nemezis fast attacks vertically with 3) or 4) after scream. You can try to avoid stunning by dodging In the same time as nemezis screams - but it is dangerous. Often nemesis works like this: 5) and next is 3) or 5) and next is 4). Keep doing this until you shoot all his weak points and push the batteries, and when the power returns, run quickly to rail gun and watch out for the blows behind you (you may need to dodge some). You have to practice it. Good luck.
that's only works for the nemmy's left hand and with the right hand when it is comboing, the 5th hit and beyond. if you get hit with the 1st 4 hits, you're not getting up from that.
YES!! Thank you VERY MUCH sir! That boss was a rock in my shoe and was keeping me from getting all achievements, but thanks to your technique, I got it!!
Dude thank you so much! On my nightmare and inferno playthroughs, with that rocket launcher I had absolutely no issues... except this boss. I wanted that S rank on Inferno and I was not about to let this dumb boss take the last 50 minutes I had to spare, thank you for the great tip!
Thanks man, a lot! I managed to kill him 4th try thanks to your strategie, my platinum trophy is thanks to you! 👏👏 Subbed and liked the video already :)
Another layer to this: Hit the last pustule while standing next to the first power source on the right side. Instantly start pushing it before he goes down. Then run to the other one nearby. You'll know you were fast enough if Jill starts talking halfway through pushing the second one. Nemesis will go for the grab and miss you running away, giving you the time needed to hit all the pustules. Then push in the other one to win.
DUDE THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was getting so frustrated at this cus its complete bullshit with the stunlock thing Nemesis does but this helped so much it only took me like 5 more tries or so 😭

Wanted to let you know that I did it on inferno as well, it was tougher since any hit kills you, I had to buy the 2 defense coins from the shop and using your method again I beat him, thanks again!! liked and subbed :)
I have just done it. the best way is to know the moves he will do when you are standing in a place each round when you push a pod in run to the same place every time.take it round by round master each one as it stays the same if you move and do the same each time. do not go in rockets blazing and wait for his atacks then get a shot of in the gaps.
Thank you for the video. It took me a while but I finally put Nemesis down on Inferno. Need to S rank it for the platinum (saved too much thinking the game would be harder than I expected) but I’m confident I can do that now.
OMG, thanks! I have watched many videos but this one finally works in just 3 times. Unlike other, I have tried them many times(it took me an hour but did not work). This one worked for meeeeeee
Works 100%. Life Saver. Also, for those wanting a quick infinite Rocket Launcher. Play on Assisted and save your game in the Hospital Treatment room before you defend Jill. You'll pick up around 70-80 Zombie kills with accurate fire and then just die and restart from your save. It should take about 2 hours to get over 2000 kills. If you get bored you can always play on and keep your save spot to back to it again. I got S Rank on Assisted and over 2000 kills in under 4 hours and got my Rocket Launcher!
Thanks for the hint! I beat nightmare and inferno tonight (little help from infinite rocket launcher)! I don’t know why it’s said this is the hardest part of game...the beginning when you don’t have your rocket launcher was the ball buster moment of the play throughs!

Tried most of the evening on inferno, got annoyed and went to bed, came across this video I left my bed and killed him thanks to you, definitely worth a sub
This boss on nightmare is pure BS in every way cant even get close to killing him stun lock should never happen
@ademnajar i agree
@@phud69 you can have 30 healing items. Of he hits you once it won't matter because he stuns you and doesn't allow you to recover
He just looks really desperate when doing the slam attack. Like when he's about to die he just slaps the shit out of you. I wouldn't be surprised if he took out his weener to slap me with it
And I thought I was the only one struggling with this boss at nightmare, thank goodness I'm not alone lol 😂 Edit: I did exactly what you did and worked perfectly thank you 🔥
You're welcome! You're not alone - huge numbers of people have that same issue with the boss!
I was sitting here on the boss for like 30 minutes on inferno. Wasn’t taking the chance of not getting s rank.
Your technique work perfectly 🙏
Finally got the platinum.
Glad I could help!
No way they won't patch this
@@19HajimeSaitou91 Spoiler: They haven't patched it.
Dude! 4 years since you've posted this guide and it's still working.
Your guide has saved my tv and controller from being damaged!
Thanks.
So long nemesis
I was pretty much stuck on the Nightmare difficulty version of this fight, but I was able to do the thing you showed in the video, and I took it down in 3 tries! Thanks so much for showing this!
Glad I could help!
I quit this battle 6 months ago. Watched your video and beat him on the first try!!! Thanks man!!!
Nice work!
This boss fight is like a final test on your dodging skill😂
Luckily I saw your video and going to try this skill of yours, wish me luck!
Hope it went well!
Thank you so much! This strat made all the difference for me. I went from dying withing the first 5 seconds over and over again to beating him on my second attempt using this strat. Thanks again.
You're welcome! I'm glad it helped!
I tried many times and I couldn’t kill Nemesis 💔
@@prince.fatalis if his patterns in inferno are the same as they were in nightmare then I can easily beat him.
@@shinokdw23 They are the same. He'll kill you in one hit in inferno if you don't have defense coins though. Two coins together, you can survive two strikes.
UPDATE: Beat Inferno and got a S rank, I beat final nemesis fight with lightning hawk
Worked like a charm, thanks so much. That stun lock was driving me up a wall.
Make a video with just the G18.
Then I'll believe in it.
That wouldn't be the easy way to do it, though, would it?
Haha, like that'll ever happen
DroopySnail4813 watch Bawk do it. This guy takes advantage of the AOE damage of the rockets. With the G18 you just need to Git Gud and punish after dodging.
@@sickofthelies1627 When I do it, I'll post the link here
@@DROOPYSNAIL4813 Do ti!
Dude.
I dodge his slide attacks no problem then comes then rapid slams then R.I.P. me 🤔
Even if you stay close to him he still does the rapid triple slam? You should have him killed by the time he gets around to that.
@@HOGuru its more random then you think dude.
I'm getting pummeled. It's different every attempt. Ps4
Also, if you aim just right, you can wipe him out while he's vulnerable and he never gets an attack in after the first set.
this worked like a CHARM in nightmare for me. First try using this technique after so many attempts, thanks a lot!
Thanks for this! Stuggled on my Nightmare playthrough but once I got the technique down after watching this I did it on my 2nd attempt on Inferno ! Happy days.
THANK YOU SO MUCH you are the only reason I made it through... only took 2 tries using this technique after at least 15 failures
Literally, just killed Nemesis on inferno and it took 1 hour+. Thanks for this video, it helped so much!
Nice work!
after literally getting crushed like 4 times prior, this video helped me big time! Key was definitely to stay closer to him rather then far back toward the rail gun where he will drum roll you to death. Also dodging a couple of attacks help! Thanks
Nice work!
@@HOGuru on inferno mode, he is much harder. He drum rolls you and does the smacking attack even if you're up close to him. On nightmare, he usually just does the sweeps.... so many deaths already.....
EDIT: after about 12 tries, finally beat inferno and got the Platinum trophy!
I've been tearing my hair out for HOURS!!!! I can't believe this worked !!!!! You're a literal life saver!!!!
Glad I could help!
Dude, you’re amazing! I was about to just quit and accept that this was going to be the only Resident Evil Game I didn’t 100 percent complete. But using your strategy of “tricking” his AI, I beat him without the rocket launcher. Just the burst handgun and a crap ton of full health healing items. Thanks for the tip!
Nice work! Those free hits help a lot, huh?
The Hidden Object Guru Absolutely.
I just got the platinum for this like 5 minutes ago thanks to your advice. Your advice was amazing and you are amazing, thank you!
Just did it and platinum trophy with your strategy!!! THANK U SO MUCH DUDE!!! Did it exactly as follows: cheat némesis in first batery to the right, dodge, shoot all vesicles, run to second batery to the right, push when growl, dodge when green, shoot again, dodge, push first batery to the right when growl, dodge when green, shoot again, run to last batery, push it, and dodge to the " rail gun" and its over. Dont ever fail shooting Nicolai after this lol!
Thank you!! This the one guys, after failing to beat the boss for 30 mins this video has the perfect strategy; did it first time after seeing how it's done!
Great work!
Thumbs up my dude, this literally made me go from dying over and over to "first" timing him with this trick, so great, S rank on all difficulties, now just 2 last records and 1 achievement and I 100% the game!
Congrats!
No rocket over here brother, just a big ass grenade launcher and shit load of flame rounds. Going in......
LEEERRROOOY JENKINS
how did that work out lol?
@@HelloWorld-lg1pz oh you know I died 45 times and then I just used the Dodge ability and let me tell you that shit saved me on my last try because I was ready to give up. It only took me 3hrs, 59 minutes, and 49 seconds . It's was fine😆😅😭😒👍👌
Thanks!
You're welcome! He certainly is a chore!
Ugh thank you so much I got it on the 3rd try with this strategy after spending about 2 hours dying over and over so thank you.
Glad I could help!
Nemsis on inferno is no joke. So glad I came across your video. After 20+ deaths from his 3 hit combo that doesn’t give you time to stand up and heal I finally beat him
Glad to hear it worked for you!
Holy Shit!! First try using your technique worked!! THAAAAAAANK YOOOOOOOU!!!!!!!!
Absolutely fantastic find, this is so appreciated.
Congrats, and thank you!
Thanks alot for this video. Helped me through the final boss on inferno. Worth noting, after that first switch (the one tight in the corner), it's best to do a quick back step then shoot as more often than not he still grabs you, even after shooting him quickly. Thanks again!
Yeah, the front right is the easiest grab for Nemesis to make - it's where I'm most likely to get caught, anyhow.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! It still took me forever, but I'd have never have gotten anywhere without this strategy.
Man the best guide out there! On nightmare it took like a hour to beat him but with your advice on inferno less than than 5 five minutes
Glad I could help!
Attacks of nemesis and their sequences and how you should react:
1) vertical strong attack from above - dodge and shot x1 or 2 at sensitive points
2) vertical series of blows to the ground into your direction - dodge at the last blow and shoot x1 or 2 times
3) vertical series from above with his single hands, dangerous, can stun you: attack from his left hand (nemesis's left hand, from his side), then goes right (slower) and goes right again (faster) - dodge with each attack in the series and shoot only after the last x1 or 2 times
4) vertical series from above with his single hands, dangerous, can stun you: attacks from his right hand (when hand is raised characteristically above the ground) are quick blows with his right hand (various amount, even about 6-8) ending with a short break (wait with dodge, he does it on purpose) and after it there is the final blow - dodge with each blow, and only after the last one shoot x1 or x2 times.
5) horizontal blow: starts from the side where you stand, nemesis sweeps each side with his hand about 3 times - dodge with each blow (which is on your side), and shoot x1 or x2 times only after the first one coming on your side, then only dodge the next, because after the last horizontal blow he attacks quickly vertically, there is no point in shooting, he will catch you and stun you to death
6) scream that stuns our character: distance yourself as far as possible from nemesis, and when you are stunned, try to move the character sideways with a pad or keys (then it ends faster) and immediately dodge because nemezis fast attacks vertically with 3) or 4) after scream.
Good luck.
I’m glad to know I’m not the only person that almost popped a blood vessel trying to beat this fight on inferno
It's the WORST!
Thank you so much for this video. This boss was driving me insane with his cheap-ass combos. Just got my platinum 💪 thanks again
You're welcome! Happy to help!
Thanks dude! What tip really helped me was staying close to him actually made dodging easier.
Yup! Then he's more likely to do the close sweep move rather than the multi-slam!
It's the bullshit little hand slaps,I cant get up again in time its death every time
Yeah, they're the worst.
Thanks soooo much, this was impossible for me until I just watched this strat, in about 10 mins. of trying, I beat Nightmare mode...cheers mate
Glad I could help!
For anyone struggling.
You need to spam left/right/buttons when knocked down to stand back up quickly and heal before another hit
that's only works for the nemmy's left hand and with the right hand when it is comboing, the 5th hit and beyond. if you get hit with the 1st 4 hits, you're not getting up from that.
still grabbed me
I tried just as you said and cleared inferno with S rank! Thank you so much🙂
Glad I could help!
YES!! Thank you VERY MUCH sir! That boss was a rock in my shoe and was keeping me from getting all achievements, but thanks to your technique, I got it!!
Congratulations!
Thank you SO much! I finally got the platinum trophy thanks to you. This was soooo frustrating!! :(((
Happy to help!
Dude thank you so much! On my nightmare and inferno playthroughs, with that rocket launcher I had absolutely no issues... except this boss. I wanted that S rank on Inferno and I was not about to let this dumb boss take the last 50 minutes I had to spare, thank you for the great tip!
Glad I could help!
Thanks man, a lot! I managed to kill him 4th try thanks to your strategie, my platinum trophy is thanks to you! 👏👏
Subbed and liked the video already :)
Nice trick!
Wow thanks man! i needed to master it a little, but it worked great!! Thanks a lot for sharing with us!! great work!
This guide helped me get my last 2 achievements for this game on my third try on Inferno after about 50 tries before, thank you bro!
your tip is really good. He's manageable with this strat.
DUDE THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was getting so frustrated at this cus its complete bullshit with the stunlock thing Nemesis does but this helped so much it only took me like 5 more tries or so 😭
Glad I could help!
I believe that there is a sign/hint to dodge in everygame with I-frame machanism. your technique is so helpful thanks for your patient to figure this out.
He's tough to dodge, but this method helps a little!
Thank you so much. Your strategy saved me so much time and frustration!
Glad I could help!
This works. Pay close attention to this video and the low volume groan from nemesis. Thanks for this vid it was a life saver!
You're welcome!
This actually helped me beat him. Thank you.
Glad to be of assistance!
I just tried it now and it works on ps5 just time it right and you are good. Thank a lot mate just got my plat
Wow man!! I was failing hard to this boss, I was about to quit and give up then I watched your video and beat it first try after that!! I can't believe I did this! your way is so awesome, thanks a lot!!!!!!! time for inferno run I hope I can beat him there too.
In my experience there's no meaningful difference between Nightmare and Inferno, other than him doing more damage. No extra moves, and no speed increase.
Wanted to let you know that I did it on inferno as well, it was tougher since any hit kills you, I had to buy the 2 defense coins from the shop and using your method again I beat him, thanks again!! liked and subbed :)
@@FakeArchon Glad I could help - and great work!
I have just done it. the best way is to know the moves he will do when you are standing in a place each round when you push a pod in run to the same place every time.take it round by round master each one as it stays the same if you move and do the same each time. do not go in rockets blazing and wait for his atacks then get a shot of in the gaps.
Nice work!
Thank you for the video. It took me a while but I finally put Nemesis down on Inferno. Need to S rank it for the platinum (saved too much thinking the game would be harder than I expected) but I’m confident I can do that now.
Nice work! Good luck on the S-rank run!
The Hidden Object Guru I got it 😁
here is a tip,you can be late but you can't be early. Use a handgun if you don't have magnum ammo.
This is what happens when you outsource development to a bunch of Platinum Games rejects.
OMG, thanks! I have watched many videos but this one finally works in just 3 times. Unlike other, I have tried them many times(it took me an hour but did not work). This one worked for meeeeeee
Glad I could help!
Works 100%.
Oh, and save just before doing the warehouse section - there's like 6 super-zombies in that area, so you can just keep redoing it to get those points!
Thanks for the hint! I beat nightmare and inferno tonight (little help from infinite rocket launcher)! I don’t know why it’s said this is the hardest part of game...the beginning when you don’t have your rocket launcher was the ball buster moment of the play throughs!
It's funny, when I went to do my Inferno playthrough I got killed three times by the FIRST zombie in the game - the cop outside the bar. Super-embarrassing. It went relatively smoothly after that, though.
You got a new subscriber just because with your technique, I was able to kill him on my 30th attempt. Lol. I had to take a break today, cause I was so damn mad lol. Thank you so very much.
You're welcome!
It works! I tried this boss on inferno like 50 times but this worked on my first try! Thanks homie 😃
Thanks so much. I used your method and have 2 defensive coins and the rocket launcher with a ton of healing items and this boss is now pretty easy. Wasn't sure I'd be able to beat him but this strategy works!
If you don't have enough for the rocket launcher just save before the part where Carlos defends the hoard at the hospital and farm kills.
Glad it worked for you!
Must have gotten lucky on Nightmare, but this was ridiculous on Inferno. Your strategy worked once I got the hang of it and got faster, thanks!
Great work!
Imagine finally beating Nemesis after trying for hours on end and think you've finally beaten the game on Inferno difficulty and in the final sequence where you have to shoot Nikolai, your girlfriend walks past the TV to get to her phone and you end up missing the shot and having to spend another hour trying to beat Nemesis again :(
Damn that's a big oof my guy
Yikes!
Hey, thanks for this. I was stuck for a few days, and having no luck. Then I felt the need to look at strategies of other people who managed to beat him. And your video helped me beat it in one go. This boss has a lot of cheese, so it's only fair we give it back. ;)
Glad it helped! Hope you enjoyed the game!
@@HOGuru I did enjoy it. The game was a blast to play, though I still think Resident Evil 2 (1998 and 2019) is still superior. Maybe they will add some free content like they did with Resident Evil 2?
Your strategy works man, really awesome.
Glad it could help!
Thank you so much, after I committed to your method, it took me about 6 retries, for a whooping 26 in total, but I got it! :D
