RAI-DEN counts as a MAG so using that gun also fills the mag counter pretty fast. Plus it is a ton of fun to use and gives me serious Warhammer 40k vibes - the thing looks like a plasma pistol.

Great guide as always but I’ve seen a few questions asked and since I have 100% the game (on Xbox anyway, I’ll do PS4 eventually) I just wanted to clear a few things up. Firstly the shop does not show up until your first completion of the game, however any records you accomplish or make progress towards are counted at any time. Currently there is no way to buy all the shop unlocks with real world money as you could with the unlocks in RE2 (though I suspect there will be an option later on as that’s how Capcom has done this with both RE7 and RE2). The record points Brian is showing here are related to kills with certain items, but you also get points for things like beating the game, collecting all the weapon parts, getting all the collectibles, etc. If you complete every challenge in the records section you will have enough points to get every item in the shop. As daunting as that sounds it’s really not that hard the most difficult records are for getting an S rank on all individual difficulties from standard and above and once you have the infinite ammo RL even that is pretty easy. Also the recovery coins do not count against your no more than 1 heal run. The shop rewards you should focus on for harder difficulty runs are the infinite ammo RL, two of each of the recovery, defense and assault coins, the S.T.A.R.S. field combat manual and the two inventory hip pouches. There are no character specific weapons all infinite ammo weapons can be used by both Jill and Carlos. All items from the shop will appear in the item box with the exception of the two inventory hip pouches, those appear at your first time getting to the item box with each character on every standard difficulty and above run you do and you pick up the inventory hip pouches as you would with any other (so for Jill that’s the room above the subway car with the gem puzzle and for Carlos that’s on the front counter desk at the main hall of the RPD). Overall the achievements/trophies for RE3 are pretty simple and not a terribly difficult 1000/1000 or Platinum Trophy. One final thing I will say is that the enemies in the hospital lobby do not spawn indefinitely like Brian says. I don’t have the exact number but it’s less than 200 total enemies. It is the easiest location to farm for AR and handgun kills like Brain says. As well it is the easiest location to farm the 2,000 overall kills record once you have the infinite ammo RL. In any case happy hunting and enjoy your achievements/trophies.

you can farm Shotgun right after Nikolai shot Murphy (RIP); Save after Murphy cutscene, exit after Nikolai, Shoot 2 dogs and 4 fence zombies (They only took 1 shotgun pallet to die so you can kill multiple at once). So after kill these, Load save and repeat. It shouldn't take long if you already went through game once or twice. This way you don't have to run though Drain Deimos unpredictable moves.
After playing this section for about an hour, I so want Tyrell Patrick to try and open the safe on the second floor of the Hospital and meet his end like in the original game.
@@zeldaofhyrule1119 exactly. re2 had like 6 or 7 costumes per character. This game you only have 1 for Jill. If you have the preorder costumes that brings the total to 2 for Jill and 1 for carlos.
MrX in hardcore still did not make me waste my crap. Though he was there longer. But even with Nemesis being in the short segments he definitely made me use everything I had. Love the challenge
Look like you guys had the same idea as me to farm those particular weapons in the exact same areas that I had thought about. Currently doing the last of the shotgun.
BIG Tip: Use the area where you need to get 3 fuses for shotgun, MAG, Grenade launcher and handgun kills. There's 17 enemies per load. After you get the rocket launcher, load defend jill save, i got 800+Kills within 10-15mins as the 2nd half where you plant the explosive, instead of plant kill each wave its about 40-50 enemies (it doesnt spawn infinite enemies)
Thank you so much bro, I actually finished this game twelve times and my points stayed the same, it never accord to me finish those challenges, thank again!
Damn that sucks man. I was under the impression that you can keep getting the same trophies over and over so I bought a lot of stuff other than the infinite launcher so I understand.
The bug nest in the powerplant is also a good spot to farm handgun and shotgun. Just save and go in there, killing every single bug in there and load the previous save file. You get around 15-20 kills per round.
You can farm HG and SG faster before going to the substation, that is, right after Murphy got shot by Nikolai. The 2 dogs and 4 fence zombies are fast to kill. Net you 6 kills each time. it takes around 15 seconds each round.
Erik Gi the kills are always counted no matter what. When you get to the cutscene with a bunch of zombies entering the room, don’t bother with the detonator yet. You should have tons of assault rifle ammo along with a few grenades and flash grenades. Just keep mowing the horde down with these weapons and when you run out of ammo, quit and then continue your recent file. It will start you at that part and just repeat the process over and over to easily farm points. Also if you accidentally did use the detonator and wanted to replay it again, don’t worry you can still do it again just make sure you don’t go back in the room with Jill yet or else you can’t do it again. Hope that helps!
Fun fact:After doing Carlos defense mission if you just keep fighting and don't detonate the bomb the zombies will just stop spawning but this was maybe after 45mins of nonstop killing(I was going for the kill zombies challenge) they just stopped spawning
I just found out that the RAIDEN kills are considered Magnum kills. So you can use that underground save from Jill to kill zombies with it before getting the Magnum
A tip that may help you do it easier! Buy the assault coins and the infinite pistol and assault rifle first. flash grenades will also help a lot. And some info: On Assisted mode with using the infinite assault rifle and two assault coins you can farm 180 kills in about 9 and a half minutes A tip for the shotgun , grenade launcher and mag kills: For me , a helpful location was the 3 fuses segment! You can have 18 kills in 4-5 minutes. With the mag you can kill 2 and maybe 3 with one shot if they line up with you and shoot them straight up. A maybe useless info: the final Nemesi Kill Do count as a kill.
Slightly better place to farm grenade launcher. After flamethrower Nemesis fight atop the construction site, you end up having to climb atop a fire engine. Right after you step onto the horizontally extended ladder, the game puts down an auto save. My strat was as follows: Take Grenade Launcher with Explosive rounds from Item box before Flame Nemmy fight (Save your Explosive rounds from the Sewer, try not to use too many on Nemesis). On hardcore, without using any xpl grenades and only crafting once, I had 8 rounds which is more than enough since you can do this with only 2 rounds if you set it up correctly. Before you drop down from the end of the ladder, use your pistol to get the attention of the zombies. On Hardcore, there's 6 total: 4 normal zombies, and 2 parasite heads. Wait for a few seconds while they cluster up, and you can take them out with one blast. Sometimes Parasite heads require another shot. Try not to hit the Red Barrel, since in my experimentation exploding Red Barrel dmg can invalidate the grenade launcher kill. Reload from auto save, and repeat.
The best place to farm is the hospital entrance after the zombie horde starts entering. As long as you don't detonate the C4 they will keep coming endlessly. Also useful for 400 assault rifle kills. PS: for those wondering, there are around 360 enemies to kill in one playthrough based on my hardcore run.
Thank you for the idea. I just finished it the first time and I would like to enjoy it a bit more, maybe just another run with an infinite handgun. Then after that, I'd finally do this xD
Wish they would’ve kept infinite weapons to getting S+ on harder difficulties like RE2 I had fun trying to get S+ on hardcore for my infinite Gatling gun
I was about to make a video on the Carlos thing because I started doing this way before I watched this video. in the hospital I completed my handguns and my assault rifle and my 2000 kills but I counted how many enemies are in each round before you have to reload the save and it's 180 enemies total and then they stopped spawning and then you have to reload your save that's from when you walk out of the save room in the beginning all the way up past the cut scene where they break in that's how many enemies there are and I just wanted to point out something he is wrong they will not keep spawning indefinitely even if you don't pick up the Detonator they stopped after 180.
Another tip is to run the mag farming on inferno, right after you get it save by the clock tower memorial puzzle and just shoot as many as you can and restart, try to line them up bc each bullet can kill more than one
BIG NEWS: bought the RAI-DEN to farm the 2,000 hospital kills with and the Do You Feel Lucky? challenge just unlocked, so it actually counts for MAG kills! 😃
I did that same thing for RE 5 back then. I collected a lot of Sub weapons then jus kept getting killed and still kept gaining more and more ammunition. It doesn’t work like that for RE 2 which sucks. But Hey great info and I’m going to do that right now. Thank you for this great video.👍🏽👍🏽🤙🏽
If you want, go on easy and get to the part where he showed how to farm shotgun and the grenade launcher. There, farm your pistol, shotgun, grenade launcher and Smg records. If you done all that you should have your rocket launcher, with the rocket launcher just farm the Carlos part to get all the records in one run.
Those were the same spots I used too. I did the shotgun and grenade launcher in the same spot. Next thing you know, you're done. I had enough points to get the rocket launcher but I kept doing the hospital part with Carlos all the way til 2000 kills. Afterwards I had enough to buy half the stuff in the shop.
Helpful tip: BE SURE to keep saving up for the Rocket and resist from buying anything else from the shop. The rocket WILL save your life to get the S in Inferno mode
Great advice for people who want the platinum and all items in the shop. Me? I can live without the OP rocket launcher and the trophies. I didn't plan to play on anything above standard anyway.
The rocket launcher makes the higher difficulties too trivial, takes away the fun from me, I just bought the hot dogger knife, the dodge manual and two defensive coins and went to finish that nightmare and inferno baby! It was fun AF! Also got them S ranks with that same loadout and some practice later on.
@@sandr921 This is to stop hearing the tyrell and Carlos voice lines over and over again, its gets annoying after a while, and if you are going to be farming them for hours, better turn them on.

So I will share if u want the shotgun done fast.. If u save in the area where u bout grab the last 3rd fuse. The spot where u run and one the containers open there is 8 zombies in the there. Pop the shot gun rounds.. 8 a piece each time. Its right before u try run back and giant Fish like creature comes out. I got it done in 10 mins or less. Also there is a zombie in there with a hat as well if u need a bit "hat off" challenge..
Jesper Tan oh wow!! thanks man for the response. That is really awesome how they let us use that in higher difficulties. Im definitely gonna get those weapons and kick some B.O.W ass lol😂👍
In hospital you can only kill 180 each time I have tested that Also for complete weapon challenges best place is in the warehouse where you put the fuses you can kill 14 zombies under 2 min (no need to collect the fuses because zombies will appear)
I did pistol, M4 and overall kills defending Jill and Tyrell in the hospital. Super easy. I did the Grenade launcher and Magnum in the warehouse/nest. I basically ran thru the warehouse/nest until i got to nemesis. I also ran thru nemesis phase in the acid pit area to get grenade kills from the guys that come out of the shafts when nemesis goes and hides behind the tanks.
So, I’ve 100% this game 3 times. The best way to farm this is where you get the 3 fuses. Run all the way around to where you unlock the door that leads back to the save. DONT KILL the 3 enemies in that room. Make a save. You’ll have the grenade launcher and magnum. Get the three kills and reload. It doesn’t take long at all to get the required kills. After an assisted run you should have enough.
Watching this video and doing all the farming for these weapons plus completing over 40 challenges I had enough points to purchase the infinite rocket launcher, infinite CQBR assault rifle, two hip pouch's, Samurai Edge gun & Jill's classic S.T.A.R.S uniform
actually on my playthought I used the moment you had the fusil mission, Don't ask but I had up to 40 shotgun shells, almost 7 explosive rounds, almost 10 fire ones, 6 mines and 12 mag bullets, and I use reload and repeat for each weapon
After my first run through I figured you could farm kills at the hospital so I just thought to myself ‘huh I’ll do whatever’s left after all 5 difficulties with an S rank. And let me tell ya, only records I didn’t have were the dolls and documents.
I spent all my points for the easier challenges on useless stuff I never use now, and I’m currently trying to S-Rank Nightmare and Inferno difficulties just to afford the Rocket Launcher I should’ve bought from the beginning.
I got the infinite rocket launcher, started my first nightmare mode. Holy fuck nemesis is super agro. He's actually scary for once. He side steps all my rockets and practically teleports to my face and stomps me dead before I can shoot another rocket.
Get a save spot right before you defend Jill in the hospital, best place to fart, then right after, nest for jill, I had the rocket launcher before my second play through with only a few hours grinding, after ran handcore got the health one and rank S so it was close to 30000 to spend after by then I already had the rifle, hotdogger, Samurai, and launcher, plus defense coins to start that run
When i unlock that rocket launcher i will become the Nemesis

you can farm Shotgun right after Nikolai shot Murphy (RIP);
Save after Murphy cutscene, exit after Nikolai, Shoot 2 dogs and 4 fence zombies (They only took 1 shotgun pallet to die so you can kill multiple at once).
So after kill these, Load save and repeat. It shouldn't take long if you already went through game once or twice.
This way you don't have to run though Drain Deimos unpredictable moves.
Good thinking
“CARLOS CAN YOU USE THAT EXPLOSIVE TO BLOCK THE DOOR SOME HOW”
few will get it 🤣🤣🤣
After playing this section for about an hour, I so want Tyrell Patrick to try and open the safe on the second floor of the Hospital and meet his end like in the original game.
nah I'm busy killing these zombies lol
Hopefully, they add more weapons as a DLC. I really want to see the M66 launcher from the original RE3 added
the one Carlos uses at the beginning? or the classic Nemesis launcher?
I want more Skins!!! :D
@@zeldaofhyrule1119 exactly. re2 had like 6 or 7 costumes per character. This game you only have 1 for Jill. If you have the preorder costumes that brings the total to 2 for Jill and 1 for carlos.
@@VagabondVerdas jill
Micheal93k 😂😂😂 for real
MrX in hardcore still did not make me waste my crap. Though he was there longer. But even with Nemesis being in the short segments he definitely made me use everything I had. Love the challenge
Because we know we weren't going to be rewarded for knocking him
Also on inferno mode, nemesis can walk into saferooms. I used so much ammo and healing items just to get a breather
Its Zetsubou which part of the game would I have to load into?
Thank you so much bro, I actually finished this game twelve times and my points stayed the same, it never accord to me finish those challenges, thank again!
Bro I legit bought everything apart from the infinite RPG so I only have the nightmare and inferno records left and the final boss is sooooooo hard
Damn that sucks man. I was under the impression that you can keep getting the same trophies over and over so I bought a lot of stuff other than the infinite launcher so I understand.
I made that same mistake too. What sucks even more is that you don't even get points for everytime you beat the game, regardless of rank.
That's what i did too, i bought everything except for the RPG. I just finished hardcore and im not confident proceeding to nightmare yet
@Littleton yes.
The bug nest in the powerplant is also a good spot to farm handgun and shotgun. Just save and go in there, killing every single bug in there and load the previous save file. You get around 15-20 kills per round.
That's how I did it. Didnt take all that long
You can farm HG and SG faster before going to the substation, that is, right after Murphy got shot by Nikolai.
The 2 dogs and 4 fence zombies are fast to kill. Net you 6 kills each time. it takes around 15 seconds each round.
So the french-kiss bugs don't infinetly spawn?
@@jasonokasuo3401 not really
This is insane. Thank you I had no idea you could accumulate points this way.
I just did the EXACT same thing with Carlos in the hospital lol i did it over and over again. It is by far the easiest way to rack up points 😂
If you kills the horde and at ending the auto save pop up appear, you can reload manual save for replay horde ? the kills are counted ?
MrDarksword123 thanks bro
Fun fact:After doing Carlos defense mission if you just keep fighting and don't detonate the bomb the zombies will just stop spawning but this was maybe after 45mins of nonstop killing(I was going for the kill zombies challenge) they just stopped spawning
Very true, I'm still repeating the same area because zombies stopped spawning
I just found out that the RAIDEN kills are considered Magnum kills. So you can use that underground save from Jill to kill zombies with it before getting the Magnum
dude you are doing some classic work. hats off!
WOW Thanks 4 the tips. I did not even know you can just reload a save point and it will keep your progression. THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!
A tip that may help you do it easier! Buy the assault coins and the infinite pistol and assault rifle first. flash grenades will also help a lot.
And some info: On Assisted mode with using the infinite assault rifle and two assault coins you can farm 180 kills in about 9 and a half minutes
A tip for the shotgun , grenade launcher and mag kills: For me , a helpful location was the 3 fuses segment! You can have 18 kills in 4-5 minutes.
With the mag you can kill 2 and maybe 3 with one shot if they line up with you and shoot them straight up.
A maybe useless info: the final Nemesi Kill Do count as a kill.
Nemesis final boss is stronger then my 25 years playing 💔
Best content on RUclips when it comes to Completing games
This is totally cool man..now im stil on my way to get my rocket launcher..thanks for the great tips dude!
Thanks I thought of doing this but I wasn't sure if it saved your stats. This helped.
Does it have to be on a certain difficulty for farming the points, or does it not matter?
It doesn't
Well it totally showed "assisted" on the screen he was loading a cpl times
Ir doesn't matter. I say do it on assisted since they'll be the easiest to kill, take less time.
Thank you all so much for the information it's really helpful for the feedback and I really appreciate it
Thank you I didn’t realize you could keep reloading like this!! Genius!
Came here for the commentary tips. Thanx Brian, and all gamers!
He literally mentioned that in the video
Thank you for the idea. I just finished it the first time and I would like to enjoy it a bit more, maybe just another run with an infinite handgun. Then after that, I'd finally do this xD
Everyone else: haha zombie explode
Currently me: ROCKET LAUNCHER VS ROCKET LAUNCHER
Great clear, concise advice :)
Wish they would’ve kept infinite weapons to getting S+ on harder difficulties like RE2 I had fun trying to get S+ on hardcore for my infinite Gatling gun
I was about to make a video on the Carlos thing because I started doing this way before I watched this video. in the hospital I completed my handguns and my assault rifle and my 2000 kills but I counted how many enemies are in each round before you have to reload the save and it's 180 enemies total and then they stopped spawning and then you have to reload your save that's from when you walk out of the save room in the beginning all the way up past the cut scene where they break in that's how many enemies there are and I just wanted to point out something he is wrong they will not keep spawning indefinitely even if you don't pick up the Detonator they stopped after 180.
sirbill93 same
@Harry W voice to text sorry
Another tip is to run the mag farming on inferno, right after you get it save by the clock tower memorial puzzle and just shoot as many as you can and restart, try to line them up bc each bullet can kill more than one
got it!!!! thanks a bunch. took a lot of time but here it is
BIG NEWS: bought the RAI-DEN to farm the 2,000 hospital kills with and the Do You Feel Lucky? challenge just unlocked, so it actually counts for MAG kills! 😃
The part where you play as Carlos actually does hit a limit with the zombies. They’ll quit spawning eventually.
Mate, you just saved me a lot of game plays just to get this. Thank you!! I've got the rocket launcher now!!
If you buy the RAI-DEN gun, you can also farm your magnum kills in the Carlos battle because the gun technically counts as a magnum
Rai Den is mag as well, so do a play through with it will do for the mad challenge :)
I want that rocket launcher so bad, but I only have 7000 points lol

Helpful tip: BE SURE to keep saving up for the Rocket and resist from buying anything else from the shop. The rocket WILL save your life to get the S in Inferno mode
Great advice for people who want the platinum and all items in the shop. Me? I can live without the OP rocket launcher and the trophies. I didn't plan to play on anything above standard anyway.
I made mistake by buying weapons and now unlocking the rocket luncher become harder
Hint: go to the options in the pause menu, scroll down to Audio, then set Voice Volume to 0. You're welcome
?
@@sandr921 This is to stop hearing the tyrell and Carlos voice lines over and over again, its gets annoying after a while, and if you are going to be farming them for hours, better turn them on.
Fastest Why Is You can Buy With 5$😂
i think it is damn wise.
Thank you:) these are awesome tips
Do your stats transfer over to seperate playthroughs?
Yes they do.
Yaasss thank you!
That's why he was saying reload the save.
I alternated my saves on my first play though and I was able to get the rocket launcher before my second play through and on the second day of release. I was thinking of making a video on this
So I will share if u want the shotgun done fast..
Correction the zombies stop coming through the doors during hospital section if u kill enough. I did it with launcher.
I did this today and I unlocked the rocket launcher I appreciate your advice 👍🏽👍🏽
Hey man awesome vid. I got a question can you use the infinite ammo weapons on the harder difficulties like hardcore, nightmare and inferno?
SUPERMAN Yes and it won’t prevent you from getting S rank on any difficulty.
Jesper Tan oh wow!! thanks man for the response. That is really awesome how they let us use that in higher difficulties. Im definitely gonna get those weapons and kick some B.O.W ass lol😂👍
Thanks brian I got the rocket launcher all thanks to you
This is some cool stuff, dude.
Only trophy you can't do with the rocket launcher is the one where you can't open the item box lol.
Oh no. Noooooo 😭
Amazing hint. I keep it in mind.
So it's stackable. Someone told me about about the point trick. Now that I know about it, definitely going to stack.
In hospital you can only kill 180 each time I have tested that
Also for complete weapon challenges best place is in the warehouse where you put the fuses you can kill 14 zombies under 2 min (no need to collect the fuses because zombies will appear)
Easier farm method for MAG, start of a nightmare/inferno save you get the magnum.
Nice, thank's for the upload!
I just tested it, you can only kill 128 zombies before they stop respawning while defending Jill
me personally i searched this up cause i had NO AMMO on anything in nemesis stage 2 and now i discover this 💀
Watching this video and doing all the farming for these weapons plus completing over 40 challenges I had enough points to purchase the infinite rocket launcher, infinite CQBR assault rifle, two hip pouch's, Samurai Edge gun & Jill's classic S.T.A.R.S uniform
Thanks bro! Used this method on Xbox one to get my infinite assault rifle 💪
Thank you so much bro for this video
actually on my playthought I used the moment you had the fusil mission, Don't ask but I had up to 40 shotgun shells, almost 7 explosive rounds, almost 10 fire ones, 6 mines and 12 mag bullets, and I use reload and repeat for each weapon
After my first run through I figured you could farm kills at the hospital so I just thought to myself ‘huh I’ll do whatever’s left after all 5 difficulties with an S rank.
And let me tell ya, only records I didn’t have were the dolls and documents.
Nice one! Imma get my Rocket Launcher first!
Well, citing the Carlos from RE movie... "Lj, sneaky son of a bitch" XD
I really appreciate 🙏 you are the best
This vid really helped me thanks
I spent all my points for the easier challenges on useless stuff I never use now, and I’m currently trying to S-Rank Nightmare and Inferno difficulties just to afford the Rocket Launcher I should’ve bought from the beginning.
I got the infinite rocket launcher, started my first nightmare mode. Holy fuck nemesis is super agro. He's actually scary for once. He side steps all my rockets and practically teleports to my face and stomps me dead before I can shoot another rocket.
Juan Gutierrez shoot at his feet
This reminds myself earn gold from resident evil 6 buy all infinite weapons
Get a save spot right before you defend Jill in the hospital, best place to fart, then right after, nest for jill, I had the rocket launcher before my second play through with only a few hours grinding, after ran handcore got the health one and rank S so it was close to 30000 to spend after by then I already had the rifle, hotdogger, Samurai, and launcher, plus defense coins to start that run
