Becky, there is never a time when I watch your channel that I don't learn something. I am forever grateful for all of your wonderful ideas and tips. Your experience and expertise and most of all your willingness to share and help us all out here in the world is so appreciated. Thank you a zillion times! I love to learn from you.
Where were you when I made all those baby blankets out of minky? I lived in fuzzy and nearly pulled my hair out trying to make them. The press and seal is a miracle worker, as are you. I'm all in favor of any method that doesn't require hand sewing. Such great tips.
This is the first time I have watched your videos. I've been sewing for about 2 years now, but I've been a bag maker having really tried much else, but im definitely going to try this. You have inspired me
Wonderful tutorial. I have a tip for you! When you use Sulky topping, and you just can't get those little pieces out of those little spaces, use something with a rubbery tip. I have a seam ripper with a rubbery tip, do not know the brand, but the tip grabs the topping and pulls it right out of those little spaces. I have to get out my Press and Seal. Great ideas here! Thank you so much!
Hi there, so cute! It looks very easy , I'm going to try it, only modificating it to my posibilities , to my one little machine, I'll put the back in the back , so the bottom tail , face and the arms , don't be in the same side. Thanks and take care and be safe
Becky, I make Hankie Blankie Pets. I found the pattern many years ago and have made many for gifts and grandchildren. Now the grandchildren are having babies and they are getting them too. The Press and Seal is a novel tip. I will have to give it a try the next time. Loved this post! Thank you for doing it for us.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, there is no hand sewing involved with Hankie Blankie Pets. There are 9 different characters, dog, cat, rabbit, frog, duck, bear, monkey, lion and a panda. I bought the pattern discs from Black Cat Creations.
Gosh wish I saw the no hand sew method before I did my first lovely. Definitely using this method for the next ones. Thanks again for the awesome video
I have had this pattern for a couple of weeks. When I heard you say you would be doing a video, I waited! SOO glad I did. Thank you, thank you!! Love how you simplify life!
OMG I have been wanting to try JUJU lovies and have been looking for a tutorial Becky you have made my day. The press n seal is such great tip . Thank you for sharing this tutorial I will be acquiring the Dritz turning tool
The press and seal is brilliant! I love sewing gifts for my grandbabies with minky but always dread the process. Wow! Game changer. Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I also appreciate how you take the time to show all the steps. From how to personalize in embrilliance to how to program your multi needle.
What a great tutorial!! Thanks for all the cool ideas! Glad Press and Seal, the turning tool, and how to stuff while turning, and no hand stitching‼️ You are a genius!!! I seriously can’t thank you enough!!!
Thanks for this video!! Cool idea of the press and seal for this project and also the no sew by hand of this project also!! Thumbs up on this for sure!!👍👍👍
You made this look so easy, but I had nothing but trouble using Press and Seal. It obscured where I was supposed to sew. Plus, it was very hard to pull off the fuzzy fleece. It left many small pieces that will just have to remain a permanent part of the Lovie.
Thank you for doing this YouTub. I wrote to Design By Ju Ju right after I bought this new design. Asking if anybody had done a video. I was informed that at the time they did not have anyone to do a video for them. So they either reached out to you, or you are hearing all of us out in this beautiful sewing world, asking now that I have this cut pattern what do I do with it? Thank you either way for answering the call for help
Becky I just want to say thank you for your tutorial on the designs by juju continuous quilting motifs, I have been buying embroidery designs from her for a while but did not know about the quilting designs or even how to attempt it until I watched your video, I started quilting a Halloween quilt I have wanted to finish for so long, I’ll send you a photo when it’s completed. Thank you thank you thank you!
Wow. I have purposely steered clear of creating projects with minky, cuddle and other slippery fabrics because I’m new to sewing and was fearful. Thanks so much for always sharing tips and pointers to take the fear out of trying something new. Glad Press and Seal - who would have guessed it would be useful for sewing? Thanks so much Becky. I’m learning “sew” much from you. ❤️
Hi! I hope you are having a beautiful day! I had a fun day in my sewing room and now I get to sit and hand sew while I watch you. I hope you have a blissful week ahead. Thank you for sharing your video!
Becky been following you about 5 years and I still love your sense of humor :) Never stop making me laugh (Minky falls apart if you just look at it HAHA) I had never seen that turning-while-stuffing tip and tool before! Thanks. You always come up with the best tricks :) Thank you for sharing

I made a beautiful minky quilt when I first started quilting years ago. Had no idea it was so hard to work with. Wished I would’ve had these tips then lol I have never done another one since then, other than small baby quilts, because of how slippery it was.
Becky, you truly amazed me tonight! The entire video was filled with new techniques and tips! The “Loveys” are just beautiful! I know some lucky babies are really going to be using them until they are teenagers!😁 I will definitely be buying some Press and Seal. I already have the turning tool, but have never used the turn and stuff simultaneously method! So smart! Please be safe on your trip!
First, let me say that I have been using press and seal in my art room for YEARs!!! I cover my tables with it when I start art projects. The stuff is fantastic and good for so many things!! Good for finding another use!!! For those of us who don't have a walking foot, what are your recommendations? Also, I would like to either do a satin binding for trim or satin for the reverse side. How would that work? Thank you for your help 🥰🥰🥰
