- For the latest instalment in our size?collections series, we packed our bags and headed to Berlin to catch up with freelance photographer Julia, aka Sneakerqueen. She talked us through her decades-spanning collection, which includes plenty of gems from countless brands, and even some silhouettes she’s personally collaborated on.

I feel like European collectors appreciate the brands more than Americans do. Their collections are things they like and not just hype. Refreshing to see collections like this.
It's incredible how many collectors of anything do it because their obsession was unattainable or denied by their parents when they were developing.

Intresting but i dont understand having a room full of shoes basically crumbling to dust
It's sad but that will be the reality for a lot of shoes. That crumbling pair may have been fine several years ago and now whatever is left might just be a link to another model. Also some people will do sole transplants. During the late 70s/80s of lot of brands where making PU based sole mainly in tennis shoes I believe and most of them have crumbles, turned to dust by now.
adidas status 2 > status 1. a rerelease of status 2 would be perfect. also, she is hot
