    I've seen a similar exercise related to an Alexander technique video on posture correction. It's very useful especially for relaxation. Initially, it doesn't seem like anything is happening but something is definitely happening. Thanks for affirming it's effectiveness.

    I don't really think that you guys will believe it but my voice and confidence totally changed after some spiritual insights and devotional yoga. In hiduism each god is attached to someting or a skill, for example, Sarawasti is the goddess of art, music and speech. I'm not saying that from nowhere you will start to talk like a pro, i'm just saying that in this matter of confidence, some spiritual practices and maybe especific prayers may help. That happaens because we get more energy from the cosmos since we are asking for it, then, the throat chakra recieve more power naturally, all the power is in the mind. I think you should pay attention that YOU are aware of your voice, body, eyes and this that is aware of it has tremendous power, all you have to do is trust on it, but if u can't, as I said you can use prayers and meditation in this intention, im not saying that you need to pray to a Hindu God, but, maybe you can me inspired but something that has no name but focusing in this new skill that you want, is like asking your soul for it.
    Im pretty sure that all the knowledge is within, its already in you. Another thing is, the throat chakra must be cleared from traumas, you must say no to things that you dont want anymore like abusive people or they will eat your potential. Also, you have to love your body and its imperfections, another thing that your throat may like is to dance, to move, because the hands are also controlled spiritually by this region..
    Besides it you not only improve your voice but your entire life if 'boost' your throat but again, pay attention to self abuse, abusive people, trash food, start by witnessing all those thought patterns without stick personally to none of them, if you start to practice it the superior knowledge will kick in and you do all Darren is teaching you..
    Im gonna tell a story about Swami Vivekananda, a hindu monk that had almost supernatural powers in the voice, once he went to Chicago for a speech and in the first words people were ecstatic, after, some ladies tried to even marry him the monk trying to pay incredible amounts of money. Another secret is to try to maintain and keep your energys with you, not wasting it with lots of food, sex, masturbation, pornography... In the beginning it will look like anxiety but once you learn to control and sent those energies inward, truste me, people you notice that you are different.
    Love you all!

    Dear sir, I struggle with throat pain. I talk unclearly and have trouble breathing correctly. I went to a voice pathologist once maybe 10 years ago to learn to talk clearly and to be able to pronounce explosive sounds (I tend to cramp and not pronounce so I avoid certain words beginning with explosive sounds) . She said I will never be able to talk clearly and I have to accept that due to my slanted nose. I always had one nostril smaller than the other and often closed when sick so breathing from the mouth is normal to me. I was also bullied my whole life in school (worse days of my entire life. I hate school more than anything that's why I never went to university after I graduated) and one idiot broke my nose with a karate hit karate being his hobby. I was bleeding profusely but since his mother was a teacher nothing happened to him. Now he is a manager. How blessed he is in life. When I went for operation I was told I will get my nose straightened but doctors lied to me and instead of straightening the bone they just enlarged the tight nostril. Didn't help as I still breath from the mouth regularly. I hate my voice and can't stand hearing myself. I also wear hearing aids as 26 years of working in the airport gave me hearing loss - I cannot hear high tones therefore hearing aids. And I have no talent at all in anything. I cannot be self-taught . I need someone to teach me whether talk, sing or learn guitar ( I have 4 guitars laying around)..
    Now with my financial situation with this crazy inflation I can't afford any private lessons only RUclips.I don't know what to do. Do you have any tips?

      Hey bro,
      I also am experiencing hardships of my own (mentally). I don't have any tips for you. All I can say is "Keep moving forward", we'll get there if we keep moving forward, and even if we don't get there, it's still worth the shot.

      Volunteer to get out of your head. As you interact with people notice what they complement you on as we sometimes don't notice our talent (we just assume it's something everyone can do). They are ton of free resources on and offline. People generally wanna help. It seems like you're keen on music, maybe join a local church and become part of the band. Look for free introduction lessons here on YT. Get a job even if it's something you're not into (it's temporary). You need the money for those lessons or to make a living. Ask for help as I have said people are generally willing to help. If you're lucky you find something you are good at (a skill you will still need to develop). Anything new, you will suck at in the beginning. You work at it as any skill requires time and training.

    Could you do a vocal analysis on the English dubbed voice-over version of Itachi Uchiha? By far, that is one of the best voice-over acting I have ever heard in my entire life! So much so; it activated and thus awoke my dormant passion for words by triggering the Broca's and Wernicke's area of my brain, lol

    There is a difference between "VOICE EXERCISE" and "BREATH EXERCISE". One, works voice, directly. Other, works breath, directly. If you say "voice exercise" and do a workout without voice... Well, I went to your channel, because of the title... I left because of the incoherence. I hoped that you're gonna say "LIP ROLLS WITH VOCALS", that is, for anyone who study voice, the most complete exercice EVER.

    • @ImproveYourVoice
      @ImproveYourVoice  Год назад +3

      Voice exercises are not always vocalised. Besides what is the voice without breath anyway?

    • @dantipremium
      @dantipremium Год назад

      Without air flowing through 2 cords, that produce sound? Exactly. With that expression I could say "I will teach you the best exercice for speed reading! BREATH!", why? Because... What is life without breath? It would make sense, of course, but it's not the direct point. (although, that's a good exercise for constant air flow, that supports sound production. That's good!)
