We did a Slipknot stream this past weekend and these were the videos we had planned for this week. They’re also copyrighted by Slipknot’s record label, so we don’t make a dime off these videos. Not pinning this to be mean, but to clarify if anyone else has the same questions.

@@morebsnstuf i got tickets to the show when they're coming near me; oct 3rd. (Really close to my birthday too!) I'm so excited. I've never gotten to see them live before, and I've been a fan for years now, just not from the beginning. My daughter is 5, and there is no way I would even think of taking her. Just because of the chance that she might not be able to handle it and end up ruining the night for me. How old is your daughter? Is she already a fan, or does she not know what she's in for yet? Just curious.

I am so much older then her but we meet in the middle with Metal. She literally brags that she has never been to a concert without her mom. 😭 When we are at a concert, we are exactly equal as fans. This summer will be her 3rd time to see Korn. Tomorrow night we see 3 doors down and Seether. The calendar is full until November. We are even seeing several bands totally outside our box just because we missed live shows so much. It was depressing! If it is happening around Dallas, we will try to be there. 🤣 She is teaching herself guitar and bass. I am so happy she loves music. My sons were both YeeYee🤠 growing up. Tommy definitely started it all. I always liked the one slipknot did the most tho cause if I remember correctly, I think they built this themselves. Maybe not, but I think so. Plus motley Crue had to come up with all kinds of stuff to distract the fans to keep them from listening to Vince Neil's horrendous voice lol I'm only joking, but damn if they had a singer who didn't have to eat everything he came across, and took care of his voice and could really sing live, they would still be killer today. Idk how the hell Mick is still able to play like that. He's probably the most underrated, underappreciated guitar player in the world. Dudes unreal

Y'all would be SHOCKED with how many hip hop artists have been influenced by Slipknot.

    • @RyTrapp0
      @RyTrapp0 3 года назад +5

Might as well say influenced by nu metal - Slipknot, Linkin Park, Limpbizkit, Korn, a LOT of crossover, both in the early days of nu metal growing out of hip hop & metal, and hip hop getting influenced by nu metal over the last decade or two
For all the shit people talk about nu metal, the reality is that a LOOOT of artists were fans of these groups and have taken influence from them

RIP Joey. Crazy drummer in a crazy good band!
There's too many great songs to name for reaction but if you want to see more crazy stuff with Joey, People = Shit, Disasterpiece and Heretic Anthem from their London 2002 live. Slipknot at their peak, great public, hellish energy.
Custer and Devil in I for more recent live stuff.
Great idea of having the lyrics with the studio song prior to live one! Thanks for this amazing channel, a real treasure!

Great reaction! Now please react to the Spit It Out ACOUSTIC version that Corey Taylor did!
Slipknot really are one of a kind as a band and musicians! Joey were a hell of a talented drummer and from what I've heard and read he was a really nice and genuine person, he will be missed by so many. RIP.

I was near the front for that Download gig, I've seen slipknot 6/7 times and that is still the best I've seen them.
It was the last time I seen them with Paul, there's a part of me that doesn't really believe what happened to Joey.

This was even better the second time. Both of your faces through the studio version first verse were amazing, Brads eyes were as big as saucers the whole time. Watching Lex ride the music wave is always so entertaining. #StankfaceHeadBangBradGang

I was lucky to catch all the original members play, that show was wild! It was my first ever metal concert and we were practically " front row ", It was soo freakin brutal that I woke up the next day just having my whole body completely sore, hahaha. I almost even passed out from dehydration, lol. Good times, never forget how awesome it was. Glad to see new fans enjoying their music. 🤘🏻

I was lucky enough to see Joey's drum solo on the rotating pedestal at my first ever concert. Shadows fall opened, then Lamb of God almost stole the show, finally Slipknot blew my mind with their performance. He did his drum solo before breaking into Disasterpieces and it is still one of the craziest things I have seen live!

before I watch thank you for doing both the studio and live version. I always love when someone will first hear the actual song so they can focus on the actual music before watching a live video.
edit: liking just because you mentioned Corey's thicc neck.
