The cutter appears to have a clever pun on it.
    パ ン だ (PA・N・DA)
    PANDA = panda
pan da = it is bread/a sandwich

My aunt had made wasabi peas and left them in a bowl on the table. I ate a large handful because I thought they were green M&Ms. Once I stopped crying, I had to admit they were very good.

So I heard that people often use greek yogurt for cooking... I had some in the fridge so I tried to use it to make a chicken salad because I didn't have mayonnaise. Well, the yogurt was vanilla flavored, but I didn't realize that until I started eating the chicken salad. I was so disgusted I couldn't even eat it. I felt terrible about wasting all that food but I definitely learned something!

Everytime I crave for something, I don't really know why, but something happens always! Like, the food I want to eat it's over, or it the last one just sold out, they don't sell it anymore, the store is closed, I don't know why! Now I'm craving for these sandwiches and I bet there isn't going to be any bread or cream at the store!!!

I was in a rush because I was going to be late for school so I put some leftover french toast into my toaster to heat while I got ready for school, but for some reason the toaster would not turn on. I know the giveaway ended, but let me share this story to you about my friend. In our school, my friend and their group have to cook a siomai and one of the ingredients is "ground beef", but my friend thought that corned beef is the same with ground beef, and it was on the list to buy 1/2 kilo and she bought a lot of canned corned beef and she was really scolded by our teacher. Believe me. I would rather have the kitchen to my own self than to let them in. Just last year, my brothers attempted to make a surprise birthday cake for me but then when I got home, the kitchen was a total mess and the stove literally exploded. My brothers are total disasters in the kitchen. Even my dad agrees. So, instead of having a cake, we just ordered pizza and beer and watched movies. It ended up nicely anyways so its not that bad at all. :))

Little did I know it was to be my biggest failures in food history. the onigiri turn out nice along with the cucumber rolls but the rest was a disaster. after trying over and over I finally succeeded just to find the the next morning it had been eaten because I forgot to label it. kanashi

I have a pet pug that acts as my sous-chef who has made it his job to keep the floors tidy after me, but when I'm cooking at the stove, I place him happily on top of a tall kibble container where he watches me cook intently like Francis. Thank you for another great video! Helpful tip for other's who are short on time and would like to try and make these. I used non-fat strained/greek yogurt and did not have to strain the yogurt. The cream turned out great and yummy. 😋 I doubled the recipe so I had enoughfor everyone. When I whipped up the cream I added powdered sugar and a tiny bit of vanilla extract to the sweetness I prefer, by tasting as I whip up the cream. That is how I normally make home made whipped cream. I made some yummy ice tea no sugar to go with theses. It's a hot day so these sandwiches will be perfect! For me it made 5 sandwiches with crusts cut off.

It's true that dogs can't eat some of the things we can, but dogs have a wide ranging diet and have adapted to digest a variety of foods. Also, I hate the term "human food". Food is food. What do you think dog food is made from? Thin air? No, it's made from meat, vegetables, and grains, all of these things "humans" eat. There is nothing in a fruit sandwich that dogs can't digest in small amounts.

I know the giveaway's closed but I'll put in my fail anyway. This happened a few years ago before I really knew what sushi was all about. A friend gave me some ingredients for sushi and I figured I could make avocado sushi with it. Everything was going well until I reached the wasabi paste...which I thought was glue to seal the roll. I made 16 of them all smothered in wasabi. I hate wasting food so...I ate them all X_X my normally stuffy nose was clear for 3 whole days after that.

I'm 15 years old and I consider myself a decent chef. My parents were out of town for the weekend and I decided to make a simple lunch. Grilled cheese is super simple, right? I don't know exactly what I did wrong, but the bread stuck to the pan and the cheese melted out of the sides and actually caught fire, so I had to get my brother to help me put out the fire. I can make a souffle and cakes, but not grilled cheese? What?

(mcdonalds, olive gaden, or even at home, or someone else's home) No one cares and you have probably eaten bugs and other nasty stuff people cook a lot worst than this and you are talking about her. I'm sure you didn't get sick from other places that may have done some unsanitary things and you are fine get over it and watch the video IT HAS A FREAKING DOG IN IT which makes it even more of an awesome video and besides its a TUTORIAL

Also you could atleast drink water everyday, your metabolism gets more and more, so that way you lose fat and you become skinny, as well as eating a ton and not gain a weight.
Also for the eating way, that can happen the same as the water, but with food. Eating three full up meals, and then two snacks in between the three times, can help your metabolism go back to normal, put your stomach out of the state of starvation and well yeah.

I was treated for an Angolan dinner. The host served a sweet corn based salad with a side of red and yellow Piri Piri peppers marinated in oil, lots of onion and garlic. That was my first time trying Piri Piri and thought they are just like regular peppers. I added two table spoons into my salad and started eating. That was the hottest thing ever, could not stand it in my mouth. I decided to be brave and not to admit my failure so had the whole salad thinking my inside is going to burn any time.

When I was young, I was trying to make my mother Chocolate Chip Oatmeal cookies, when instead of doing 2 tablespoons of vanilla, I did two cups of vanilla. Seeing as it was the first thing I baked myself, i put it in the oven thinking it would be okay.
Well it turned into a baked breakfast oatmeal / chocolate slop. It looks disgusting, but to my curios mind, I definitely tried to eat it. Wasn't a good idea. So I bought cookies from the grocery store instead. Ooops haha Love you mom!

At a competition (one that I missed out on Disney world to go to, mind you) I was tasked with making a roasted parsnip puree soup. after struggling to find the ovens, then undercooking the parsnips so that a hand blender wouldn't work, I attempted to use a regular blender. The lid came off, flinging parsnip puree everywhere. I got so held back some of the judges left before I finished my stir-fry. (during which I badly burned my thumb on the pot that was cooking my rice.)

I was baking a cake recently and, while I remembered to grease the pan, I forgot to flour it because I was rushing. The cake texture was light and fluffy, so it basically broke apart when I tried getting it out of the cake pans and became almost impossible to frost (especially since it had a pudding layer in the middle). Luckily, I was able to salvage it by not frosting the sides and turning the circle cake into a square cake!

One night, my wife asked me to make lentil soup for our dinner the next day. So, the next morning, I took all the ingredients she very neatly laid out, put them in the crock pot, turned it on and went to work.
8 hours later, my wife & I came home to home that didn't smell like lentil soup at all- instead we had a home that reeked of hammy bean water.
I forgot to plug the crock pot in.

I didn't grow up with a microwave, only a stove and oven. When I went to university and lived in the dorms, we only had a microwave. My first cooking experiment was microwavable mac and cheese, unfortunately, I didn't understand that it only needed to be in there just a few minutes about 7 minutes later there was a small explosion from inside! I was cleaning mac and cheese out of the microwave for a while.

So I freaked out and splashed some water on it it only got worse . So I grabbed the pan and ran outside and threw the pot in the pool. The whole house was full of smoke for the remainder of the day the fire stained most Of the wall the sad thing is same thing happened when I tried to cook rice the first time :(.

i wanted some warm water cause it was cold so popped a bottle of water in the microwave. ( i was at school, and i did this in the back of the lab room in my chem class) i walked away to work on my lab and a little while after i sat down the microwave door exploded across the classroom and we had to evacuate the room. luckily nobody got hurt but i felt stupid and guilty while everyone was still shocked from the loud noise the "explosion" made.

I decided to make a soup with udon noodles and the recipe for the soup called for anise stars. So not knowing how it anise stars taste i trusted the recipe. I made the huge mistake of not tasting it before i put in the noodles. The soup tasted as if i took branches from out side and had them boiling for a long time and throw in a bit of dirt to make it extra gritty :( needless to say we ordered take out that day.

When I first attempted to make rolled omelet, I accidentally poured the entire egg mix in the pan which then gave me some difficulties to roll the egg. But when served it to my sister it was slightly burned and the egg roll was slightly crooked, but me and my sister did not mind it was my first try anyway that ended up as a huge mess to clean on the pan when I had to wash the dishes.

Goodness, a food related failure .. mm, I remember once when I was cooking an anniversary dinner for my boyfriend, I was actually using your recipe for yaki gyoza as the appetizer ~ I kept going back to the video to make sure I was getting everything write while I was making it, and ended up letting them fry too long because of it .. they ended up kind of burnt and bitter tasting ..

There was this one time when my mom put salt & sugar into 2 bottles of the same type/dimension/shape without telling me first. So that day I was making chocolate chip cookies & unknowingly used salt instead of sugar. I didn't taste the batter because I was following the recipe from a cooking book so when the cookies are done baking, I was horrified that all the chocolate chips tasted salty! :O

One day we had a big family dinner (cousins, aunts, uncles, etc) I was a pescatarian at this point in my life, so i had fish, i didnt know what to season it with so i grabbed salt pepper garlic olive oil and red pepper flakes. i put a lot of pepper flakes (like a handful) without really knowing how hot the flakes were. when i tasted it, my tongue was burning and my stomach was in pain. i couldnt eat the rest so i had to throw it away and i had no more fish. :( i ended up only eating veggies..

I once made caramel and right off the stove, pouring on the base of the dessert, I stupidly used my finger to catch a drip. I wound up howling around the kitchen even after shoving my finger into a bag of frozen peas. Water boils at 212°F, and you heat the caramel to 350 before adding in the cream and butter. Plus peas and caramel are not one of my favorite flavor combinations, and I ended up having a throbbing finger covered in peas and caramel. Not to mention a nice blister the next day.

It was my turn to cook rice one day. So when I finished washing the rice, I put it in the rice cooker and plugged in the power cord. About an hour passed after my family and I left the house. We came back around dinnertime to find that the rice cooker was not on. Apparently, the power cord was not plugged into the outlet all the way. But I was pretty sure the rice cooker turned on. We were hungry, too. :'(

When i was 4, i was OBSESSED with green tea ice cream. One day, i had a family party at a Chinese restaurant. A waiter came by to my table & put multiple tiny sauce plates of green tea ice cream... or at least that's what I thought it was. "DESSERT ALREADY?!" I snatched all them all and stuffed them into my mouth. A minute later, I felt a burning sensation developing in my mouth and my nose started to swell. And that's where it hit me. It was not green tea ice cream I ate, it was WASABI.

I was at my best friend's home and her mom came back home with food. There were these little buns with what I thought was chicken or roast pork (looks like a taco but its a steam bun). She told me to just eat it and not ask questions so I did. After I finished, my best friend told me her mom knew I didn't like eating duck so she didn't tell me what it was. It tasted good but the thought of eating duck made me upset. :(

While my family was away to visit some relatives, my mom asked me to cook rice, so that when they came back a bit later than our usual dinner time we'd have rice. (We still had some leftover side-dishes from lunch.) I was still young and forgetful, washed the rice and put it in the ricecooker. I just plugged it in and went to play games. When they came back and everyone sat on the table ready to eat, we noticed that the rice was uncooked. I forgot to press the button for the rice to cook. :P

Bought an octopus at a fish market. It was given to me in a mesh bag. When I got home and opened it, I realized the octopus was still alive. After a brief exchange of glances between the octopus and I, we both agreed it was not in the menu tonight. Drove 30 minutes to sea and unceremoniously let my dinner escape to what I like to believe to this day is a fantastic octopus realm, where everything has 8 handles, just out of reach from us.

I once decided to try making caramel. My apartment had an old, electric stove and I used an old, cheap pan that had no chance of heating evenly. I turned the heat up on high when the sugar didn't brown quickly enough. Of course the whole thing scorched and not only my apartment smelled like scorched sugar, the entire FLOOR smelled like scorched sugar.
Casualties of this experiment include my sauce pan, one rubber spatula, one plastic bowl, and any desire to ever cook sugar again.

I was trying to make cupcakes but didn't want to wait for the oven to preheat so I stuck the pan into the microwave only to realize that it wasn't microwave safe, that everything was burnt, and that there was smoke everywhere. So I turned the ventilation on, opened the doors and windows, and sprayed everything until my parents came back (I was freaking out) then they commented on the smokey smell by asking if the neighbors had a bbq. I did confess eventually.

I was eating with my parents in a japanese store and I wasn't looking at the table and I accidentally grabbed my dad's wasabi covered tempura (He loves wasabi!) for my deep fried chicken tempura and I took a bite, and my mouth was soooo hot that the waiter kept on bringing me glasses of water. I was so embarassed. I vowed never to make that mistake EVER again. And yet the next morning I poured yogurt into my cereal. I felt so bad D:

Once when I was little, my family had gone to a friend's house for a cook-out. At the time I was always one for being in the kitchen and trying out the food. My mom gave me a taste of what she said was sausage I'd never tried before. After a few minutes of convincing I finally tried it. When I was done and said it tasted good, she told me I had just eaten Bambi:( what a way to make an 8yr old stay out of the kitchen....

I was staying with my aunt and uncle one weekend when I was 11, and it was a particularly hot day. I went to the fridge to get a cold drink, opened the door and found a big jug full of apple juice. I poured a large glass and hastily drank a big mouthful, only to be greeted with a disgusting taste and slimey texture, which made me retch uncontrollably. I found this out the hard way: my aunt and uncle keep their cooking oil in the fridge.

When I turned 5 years old I received a miniature kitchen as birthday present. The oven worked with fuel tablets (during these days and age they were not concerned about child safety). The oven came with a small aluminium frying pan too. So I cooked my first dish in the garden: earthworms, I digged out and peas I picked. My first dinner guest was my little brother. He managed to eat 2 earthworms but he did not like them at all. My first kitchen failure - should have sprinkled salt.

My first trip to visit relatives in England, I decided to be all grown-up and order black tea with breakfast. Knowing it would be a touch bitter, I added some milk and six teaspoons of sugar, and stirred thoroughly. Knowing my dad and our hostess were watching, I took my first adult sip of tea... and nearly spat it out.
They kindly did not laugh, and offered me a fresh cup. With sugar-moderation, I have loved tea ever since.

When I was eight years old, my father caught me on my knees in front of the refrigerator eating directly from a tray of a "pineapple wafer fluff" dessert. He asked me, "What are you doing, boy?" Knowing that I was not supposed to be eating the dessert, my eyes were directed to a bottle of pickled hot peppers. I blurted out, "eating peppers!" I think everybody knows at this point that I was compelled to eat some standing right there for him to see so as to avoid punishment! :)

Christmas many years ago when i was just little and helping with the sugar cookies my mom asked me to add the sugar and still being really little i didn't know the difference between the big bag of sugar and the big bag of salt... no one tested the cookies before they went in the oven and when they came out, they looked ok, but gods were they inedible, we decorated them and put them on our small tree... and cause they were mostly salt they kept for several years until our pets ate them.

Me and my sister wanted to make french toast for breakfast, but we were out of butter so we decided to use ghee instead. We heated the pan and then we added the ghee into the pan. The moment the ghee touched the pan the whole stove was on fire!! Gladly me and my sister ran away from the fire as soon as possible.
After the fire calmed down.. everything was back to normal except the roof.. I was surprised how did the stove looked exactly the same. The thing is, the roof was burned black!
