    The fact that when the detective tried to tell Dakota about all the things Sidnee will no longer be able to do, like graduate, and the only thing Dakota could say was "she was never going to graduate" just underlined how even when Sidnee was died, Dakota could not bring herself to just say something nice about her sister. That should have sealed the deal right there of how deep her hatred of her sister was.

How many conversations about it must they have had? It's unthinkable. I'd never be able to look at her again. She certainly wouldn't be allowed anywhere near my other kids (they had other siblings). There's a love you'll always have for your child and I'd certainly blame myself, but I'd have to disown her and hope that she could understand what she did completely and one day come to terms with it, because I'd never be able to forgive her or even speak to her again.

      Astrid X Yeah, it's sad. This is what happens when parents didn't have good parents, thus they end up raising f$%ked up children. Even if the children aren't messed up as badly as Dakota, it's almost certain the child will end up with other messed of kids, greatly increasing the odds that bad sh!t will happen. Poor Sidnee, didn't have a chance. Bad family members and bad (so called) friends. Everyone is a product of their environment and broken people will be trouble for those around them. There is no point placing blame because it's a vicious cycle from victim child to victimizing their own children, and so on and so on and so on...
      Only society can help mitigate this problem, but most people are focused on blaming after the fact (reactive) which does nothing to help break the cycle. Only a proactive approach can mitigate the harm before young children get all messed up and end up like the members of this group/gang.

      @S-tank_ Год назад +12

      Well it may seem cool but it was very poor detective work. A good lawyer could have shredded any info she got during that interrogation. She's 100% leading her and feeding her info slowly but surely telling her exactly what she wants her to say. That is precisely how you get false confessions. It doesn't work but I'd like to see the whole unedited version I wonder if they employed the same tactic with the unlocking of the door. Even in the last interview when they finally get her to say that they were gonna get rid of the mom her actual words were "he said we would have kd her if she HAD WOKEN up" he is telling her this AFTER the fact. but the cops immediately turn it into it was before the fact. She's already been arrested twice so she'll say anything if she thinks it will get her to go home. The other dude says she's crying when everyone is toasting about it. Also the leader I very much disagree with ewus assessment of how he's acting. What's his motivation? He puts everyone up to it cuz he doesn't want his girl "watching" her sister? Lol. Have you ever been a guy that's hooked up with a girl and then dated their sister? You definitely don't hate the sister especially when ur not a great guy. There's always a chance it might happen again. Here's what I think. I think the Chad guy was actually the ring leader and the sister didn't know about it and the main guy didn't tell them to do it. I think the other 2 dummies were just followers. I think if the sister and main dude knew ahead of time they didn't think anyone was actually gonna do what they did. I hope they proved that the they knew about it ahead of time besides just with her testimony. If so so their punishments were probably appropriate. I Feel sorry for the mom

If you're an innocent witness, but they can rationalize the evidence onto you, you will be the person arrested. Cops are under a lot of pressure to "solve" a murder, and that means they need to show an arrest as quickly as possible. From there, it's up to you to prove your innocence. Now, you are facing the egos of prosecutors, cops and a justice system that is stacked against you. This means tens of thousands of dollars you've got to come up with, simply to avoid prison for something you didn't do. As long as theyve got their arrest, they dont care. This is the very reason we're seeing so many innocence men being released from prison after serving decades, due to new DNA testing. Don't be naive. It's best to just never talk to cops. Thank you so much for including pictures of who they are talking about, reminding us of the dates on the screen and describing which LE agent is speaking. I have a hard time keeping a lot of details in my mind at one time so I can’t always follow stories that get complicated. This is amazing!!

      As a mother, her alarms and red flags should have been on long time ago before the murder ... Also it is interesting the fact that they had so much time, acting like "adults" while still being in school. Who was giving the money for guns, alcohol, drugs, tattoos , hair coloring products etc. ?

      My theory is impulsivity and selfishness, which sociopaths often have, combined with a little bit of arrogance that makes them think they can get away with it and a little bit of delusion that makes them think it won’t be that big of a deal to remove a whole person

      They don't feel the stress a normal person would feel at the very thought of murder; and are convinced they'll get away with it. The think they are really clever but usually they're pretty stupid, especially teen sociopaths and psychopaths.

      That’s because you’re thinking through it rationally, as sane people do. They’re not. It’s an emotional, impulsive, self-centered and egotistical decision that isn’t in line with reality. It’s a form of mental illness.
      It’s like saying “I don’t get why people with depression don’t feel happy” - something in their brain literally prevents them from thinking and feeling the way a balanced person with no mental illness does.
