Thank you all for watching, we have many more videos on the way. We want to apologize for having to put a large watermark in our videos. We spend a lot of money (thousands of dollars in some cases), time, and energy to bring you exclusive and never before seen footage, and other channels and TikTok creators continue to take the content and editing without giving us any credit at all. We find this to be unethical and extremely frustrating, and if other channels want to obtain the same footage, they can spend all the same time and money trying to get the footage themselves since it's too hard for them to just give us credit for all the time and money we put into obtaining footage. I hope you understand why we have to continue to watermark our content.
There was a time we were going to share all of our interrogations with other RUclips creators, but we realized most of them won't even bother to give us credit after we put so much work into obtaining the footage. I wish the true crime community supported each other more, but sadly that doesn't seem to be the case for many channels.

completely understandable. A lot of RUclipsrs do this, and your watermark isn’t like 100% opacity or anything to really distract from the video.

The cops completely ignoring the man by the door is the WEIRDEST thing I have ever seen in these videos. It's truly unbelievable.
I was a Lil baffled too, especially with "COPS" there... the only thing I could think of was because Harriet was able to give their ages 92 & 97!!, but she also gave a description, extremely well, it was like they were in complete tunnel vision to ck on them. It just seemed like so many of them to just walk by so quickly! His "I just work here" comment didn't even make one of them stay back & ask if he seen anything, if I remember correctly, I think he said that to the Sound guy from COPS, I could be wrong...

He pretends to be a bystander who heard a commotion so they go past him. Then when the house is secure they go back out to find him and he's gone.
Probably due to the dumbass camera crew tagging along to the crime scene; they had to play the heroic actor besides doing their actual job.
Yeah. The best excuse I can think of for them is they were all very tunnel vision focused on getting to the elderly woman who was still alive.
The fact the cops blew right past a random dude standing in the doorway that matched Harriett’s description of the suspect is mind blowing.
He was barely out of their way! I'm so surprised! Typically even "nosy" neighbors are questioned if they're standing around

there is an experiment where people watch a basket ball game and count how many times it is thrown... halfway through a guy in a gorilla suit stands right in the middle and beats his chest... people dont notice or remember a guy in a gorilla suit in the middle of it. Basically police were very focused on saving the lady and not the random guy.

It's so very sad that Andy died, but at least Harriet saw her and her husband's attacker get charged for the crime, even if she didn't live long enough to see him get the guilty verdict.
She gave a perfect description of the attacker and the police walk right past him at the crime scene. Good Lord.
Adrenaline and tunnel vision are crazy. There was a video with people in monkey suits dancing on the internet, the video says to keep your eyes on the gorilla and make sure you note the AMOUNT of gorillas, and if they do anything etc. Meanwhile, a human walks right through the center of the frame but most watchers of the video did not originally notice the human at all, because they were specifically told to focus hard on the dancing monkeys.
Edit: It was actually people passing a ball around did not notice a monkey walking through the frame, I kind of had it the wrong way around.

If the police on scene had better communications (more timely) with the dispatcher, they would likely have nabbed him while he was still on scene. I was glad they quickly identified their height as a differentiating factor and immediately ruled him out

I can’t blame police for picking him up as he matched the initial description which of course was vague and God bless Harriet for even being able to recall and give a description after what she just went through. What a strong woman. And kudos to the wrong suspect in the car who I agree handled himself calm and well, and to the officers who hopefully apologized and explained the situation, then gave him a ride and didn’t seem rough with him.

This story made me sick to my stomach because two nice senior citizens, one a WW2 veteran was killed! This is beyond tragic and sadly, we’ve a lot of these sick kids living among us. People need to be careful and not open their doors to strangers. Especially the most vulnerable, the elderly. This was just most unfortunate. This loving couple were robbed of what little time they had left on this earth. Harriet lost her lifelong love and had to endure all that pain and heartbreak to her grave. No amount of punishment can correct the wrong which was done to them. 😢

My husband's aunt was murdered at 103yrs old. She was still able to live alone and do what she wanted. A meth addict broke in during the night and beat her to death. For an old tube tv and costume jewelry. He got arrested only got 10 yrs with possible early release after 5yrs

Imagine fighting in one of the biggest wars of all time, getting out alive after all your friends were killed, starting a family, making it past your 97th birthday, knowing you’re in the later stage of your life but you’re happy that it’ll be peaceful with your wife, and then randomly someday some sack of shit barges in, beats your elderly wife, and kills you. You die not knowing what is to become of the wife you’ve spent decades with.

They made it to an age most don’t, together, without the loss of mental faculties, just for one to be murdered and the other beaten within an inch of her life. It’s horrible. I wonder how long the wife made it because after my grandfather lost my grandmother it wasn’t long before he passed for reasons that didn’t make sense given his health. I don’t understand how someone can do something like that.

I had an elderly neighbor couple, the husband died, and a week later the wife died, I could say she missed him too much and her heart couldn't take it anymore and yearned to be with him in the afterlife. 😢
I find this female detective to be pretty brilliant. the way she handled the interrogation the way She spoke to him was pretty great to watch. I always appreciate watching someone that was s great at what they do perform.

It was refreshing to see the mother and stepfather being honest and cooperative rather than so many parents who rage on about how their child couldn't possibly be a part of this and were being railroaded. They even noted the blood on his sweatshirt, unlike Aiden Fucci's mother who was scrubbing blood out of her son's jeans after the cops take him in for questioning after he stabbed a girl 114 times.The guy was probably standing around trying to see if the victims were dead

I feel terrible for his mother. She gave birth to him in an Ethiopian refugee camp. She lived in a scary violent country. I hope both families can heal from this.
I don't think the parents realized how serious the crime was. Not that they wouldn't have cooperated if they did. But their manner is far too calm if they had realized their son savagely attacked (and murdered) people. Defenseless people. Truly horrific.
My 16 year old son confessed that he did something awful to me, a little over a year ago. I turned him myself. It was heartbreaking and earth shattering but what kind of adult would I have raised trying to sweep something serious under the rug. I agree their accountability was nice

She passed in March 2015.

What I find particularly amazing is that one of his victims was able to call for help WHILE HE WAS STILL ONSITE.

I was waiting for this comment. While I of course feel bad for the victims and their family, I also feel bad for this kid's family. They seem like honest and truly nice people that know right from wrong and they made no attempt to cover for their son/stepson. I'm not sure what is wrong with this kid but I truly empathize with both families involved.
I don’t think they should have handcuffed that guy. They weren’t arresting him. Luckily it worked out ok.
@@userr7382 it makes sense to detain anyone you suspect of being involved in a crime. if that had been the actual perpetrator you don't know how they would react as the pressure of the impending arrest ramps up. On top of that the cop didn't have a separated back seat like a normal squad car so a pair of handcuffs and sitting in the front was the most reasonable setup.
@@panikk2 You can detain without handcuffing. Also he wasn't showing any flight risk. However they were within the law to do what they did as he did resemble the description and was coming from that direction. Additionally it sounds like he wasn't held beyond a reasonable time to determine he wasn't the right person. The guy seemed understandably a little annoyed, hopefully the ride made up for a reasonable error.
Ideally you don't have to detain the wrong person at all but it's going to happen if you want a chance to stop people before they have a chance to hurt others. Hopefully more times in future are just like this and being obvious wrong suspects that they hold for stupid amounts of time.

He was in a stupor at that house, and they completely filled in the gaps of this bizarre tale with made-up theories (oh, theft was the motive) rather than dig deep. There was no motive. The absolute nerve of him to stand there at the door - with the weapon right there!!! What were those cops thinking just walking right by him and not wondering what the f he was doing there? I am filled with respect for Ngor's honest, hard-working, righteous parents. They had no way of knowing why the police were suspicious of their son and how horribky bad it turned out to be, and still answered every question honestly and to the best of their knowledge. The name Ngor sounds African specifically from East Africa. African Parents will not defend you the child when you commit crime. Infant he is lucky he is in the US because, if he was backing his country, the community would have dealt oth him and the parent would have willingly handed him over to the community. We do not wait for police. He probably was born in the US or moved here when he was little.
I'm not sure that that household was calm or happy, six kids on a low income, a teen who doesn't feel confident enough to go to school - or get a haircut that looks like someones cares. I personally suspect this home is not a happy one.

This is something I do not like about the America when it comes to elders. I wish communities could watch out for elders like we do in our country. In my country every elder is known by the community. We protect them and look out for them. Hardly do they get attacked.

And two different dispatches told her that wasn’t an emergency when her kid wasn’t even a year old . Bad part of town too where no one was just gonna stop and help . So she called me and an hour later they were both still sitting their kid screaming cause of the frigid temps . I ended up figuring out that her gas gauge doesn’t work and she just ran out of gas . So yeah cops around here were willing to let two people freeze to death in a Michigan winter cause it wasn’t an emergency . So yeah I give the cops credit for not escalating a situation in which they thought someone was a suspect and then giving them a ride .

They also didn't detain the guy just because he was black it was because he fit the rough description of who they were looking for who had just murdered 1 person and hospitalised another. You'll notice how as soon as it was confirmed he wasn't the guy they let him be on his way. Contrary to popular belief police do have to occasionally detain innocent people sometimes but of course that's somehow racist these days despite the fact it happens to all races equally.
I've not studied mental illness but I believe this guy had to be experiencing psychosis to stand at that door so calmly.

The detectives seemed to miss a number of opportunists, including having his mother talk to him interrogation room. That kind of pressure can sometimes break even the most hardened criminals.

His parents are truly good people. I can’t imagine having to have that conversation - that they were so forthcoming was so refreshing - not the usual garbage of people covering for their kids. It especially breaks my heart that the male victim died - he was born the same year as my grandmother and my grandfather also served in WWII. Just heartbreaking.
They were so forthcoming because they didn’t know what was going on. The mother thought he had gotten into a fight or other such teenage shenanigans. She also didn’t seem like she was very street wise when it came to talking with the police. Immigrants like that sometimes don’t fully understand that you don’t have to talk to the police and that you can just ask for a lawyer. They come from countries were you usually can’t say “no” to authority figures.
I always teach my son to never speak with the police without a lawyer present, ESPECIALLY if they’re innocent. There are tons of innocent people in prison because of talking to the police without a lawyer present. If the police say “we need you to come to the station and answer some questions, you’re reply always should be “only if I have my lawyer present”. If you didn’t do anything you can say “I’d love to talk with you officer but because this is an interrogation I’d really feel more comfortable with a lawyer present”.

My gosh, it’s so hard to hear how evil some people are and how hard it is to fathom the pain people can inflict on others.
All victims are important regardless of their age, but it’s so sad when the defenseless are attacked. Children and the elderly are the most vulnerable, it’s horrible.
I love my grandparents so very much, and wish I spent more time with them. When I hear of elderly couples and their stories of their long life, I’m always reminded of them. My grandpa was born in 1912, and my grandma 1915. They married in 1936(1 more year than this lovely couple in this video). My grandparents worked hard and had many kids. 11 children(2 died before I was born in 1990) and when my grandpa passed in 2011…we got the total numbers for this amazing family of mine that they created. 11 children, 22 grandchild(I’m in this generation) 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. It’s been 12 years so now there is a total of 8 great great grandchildren. I love how big my family is, all thanks to my grandparents for teaching us to love one another and most importantly, God.
I may not have them anymore, but I cherish these memories, and will for the rest of my life. They did live an extremely and extraordinary life. My grandpa was 97 when he passed in 2011, and my grandma was 99(6 months away from her 100th bday! We were already planning it and brainstorming her upcoming 100th year alive!) some days, I do miss them more than others. Sometimes I cry, but I pray to them, and they hopefully hear me, I believe they do. They are my ultimate inspiration of a marriage lasting a lifetime, finding your soulmate and working hard to love and provide for the family. Every anniversary was excited, and they still were so very much in love. I believe their last one celebrated before my grandpa passed was 75 years! So amazing, so blessed! They even got a framed letter from the Governor and legislation of Alaska(born and raised) praising on how beautiful, amazing, and inspirational their unity and commitment to each other all these years is.
Sorry it’s such a long comment, it just felt good to write about them and how blessed I am to have these memories and moments. I miss them in times like these, especially seeing other elderly couples who keep their love journey going.

The worst and most painful part is that he's there in the interrogation room feighing innocence while at the same moment there are families out there grieving something he caused due to his greed and an old lady is at that very moment fighting for her life. I’ve been to a few crime scenes & the boy not getting attention in the beginning is pretty normal. He looks like a kid & he was acting nosey, not really menacing. Tunnel vision on emergency calls is a real problem. This was very legitimate and honest.

On top of that, if his family or home life were abusive, or even just dysfunctional in nature, it would've come up in the investigation. I feel ya. Anyone with any sense of empathy can easily put themselves in the shoes of the victims and to some degree feel their pain. Some people just lack empathy or were not brought up proper or whatever they want to say to get out of taking responsibility. The accused but innocent guy who got arrested was very calm and capable in the situation. Well done to him as that must have been pretty scary. Also Ngor is pure evil, he clearly does not care what he did and would probably do it again if he was still free. Can't help but feel sad for his family though, the parents seem pretty genuine. honestly I think it wouldve been better had she not survived. She had spent nearly 100 years with her husband and right there at the end he was stolen from her and she had to live the rest of her days alone only to join him soon enough anyway. If it was a younger couple then Id of course celebrate the wife's recovery but in this specific situation it seems more like a curse than a blessing.

It broke my heart hearing that old woman calling police while she was bloody with a fractured skull, and her husband was already gone :( I'm so happy she survived that attack though, and she was so so brave to get to a phone and I'm impressed by how level her voice was. awful & heartless & this is definitely going to haunt me for many months lol.
