from what I’ve heard (I am no expert) there is no mercy when you get sentenced to death in FL. Both FL and TX i heard you get sentenced straight to Hell after execution.
Amber saying that if she spends 5 years in prison she'll be 20 by the time she gets out only to get a life sentence is maybe the best thing that happened in this case.
also when she asked the detective “how many years?” after hearing they’d all be booked for first degree, premeditated. and the detective said “oh honey”

Fun facts: Amber is about 29 years old and serving a life sentence at a correctional facility in south Florida. She's up for review after 25 years of serving. When she was 19 she almost got out early due to them not reading her Miranda Rights. So they gave her a second trial.

Amber is so unbearable. She's acting unbothered and annoyed when she wasn't being grilled by detectives. She doesn't even seem to register Charlie's fear that she was being put in "actual" jail, insisting that juvenile jail is rougher and that she had it worst. She had the audacity to act like she was experiencing maltreatment and injustice when she was the primary reason why Seath even went to the house that night.
You should watch the movie "Bully". It's about a very similar case that also happened in Florida involving a bunch of dysfunctional teens that basically did the same thing.

The last thing on their mind is how many people they hurt by killing Seth. They're more worried about how it makes them look. Reputation is everything to these kids, problem is their reputations are based all online.

These malpractices often result in false confessions (again, not in this case, these kids are guilty af), that's why laws exist against using them. This was sloppy police work at best, and all just to get the confession quicker. As for personal feelings, when you're police or a detective, you leave your own personal feelings at the door! You'd think after Mike stated his plan, they all would have looked at each other and said he's crazy, but instead they just all went along with it? That is so unfathomable to me. And Amber thinking she is innocent despite calling Seath and leading him over to be killed? This whole situation is sickening.
A whole nation of Germans did the same thing to the Jews. I truly believe anyone is capable of doing anything given the right situation. We have to watch ourselves.
There is no justification for any one of them and what they did. However, if you look up the psychology behind group behaviour in humans, and if their is a main influencer, you could perhaps consider not ALL of them being psychopaths
All the drama of being a teenager feels super important and intense at the time, but then you mature and realize that almost none of it mattered. We're close to the same age, so I can only imagine how stupid they feel sitting in prison right now. Yeah the problem of some people always seeing themselves as victims is becoming a real common and major problem in society right now, and Charlie Ely has already been released because of a legal loop hole she used.

The fact that Amber keeps saying she didn't do anything is just mind boggling to me. I know at the time this footage was taken she was 15, but even so, you lured your ex-boyfriend to what you knew would be his death. I have no doubt that if this hadn't happened and Amber grew older and got married, we'd be seeing her as an adult in an interrogation room on suspicion of murdering her husband.
I have no doubt she riled them all up. I mean, according to mike she made claims seth r**ed her. She made claims he assaulted her all the time. There are policies and procedures to be followed when speaking to suspects, and these detectives broke a lot of them. These kids were guilty, yeah, but intimidation, lying to the suspects, coercion, and belittlement are not professional, or even legal in many places. They would've got their admissions without all that, and they can't say what the kids are going to be tried with until court proceedings. These malpractices often result in false confessions (again, not in this case, these kids are guilty af), that's why laws exist against using them. This was sloppy police work at best, and all just to get the confession quicker.

Hopefully they've come to understand and own their horrific actions and the consequences, but some people always see themselves as the victims so 🤷
Yeah the problem of some people always seeing themselves as victims is becoming a real common and major problem in society right now, and Charlie Ely has already been released because of a legal loop hole she used.

@@cat_city2009 And I feel sorry for anyone who ends up dating or befriending one of your kids. Mothers like you raise sociopaths and the rest of us suffer because of it. You strike me as the “mom who has an emotionally incestuous relationship with her son” type.
The fact that they all agreed they wanted Seath dead and helped coordinate it without thinking twice about it and still think that they did nothing wrong because Mike was the one who actually shot him might be the most unsettling part to me.
"I started thinking to myself. Man, what did he do to make them people that mad?!"
Completely agree! I couldn’t believe the 18 year even said this. The fact she didn’t think she did anything just bc she wasn’t the shooter is unbelievable to me. She should definitely know better at her age.
I think in that situation it was more sheep movement. One says yes, and the rest has to agree

These 2 female investigators have been the best investigators I’ve seen. They were quick to call out the bs and not play little games or mind tricks. I have a little sympathy for Kyle for being the most honest and only 15. I think he shouldn’t have gotten a life sentence, but a really long one. Freed when he is a senior citizen. Can’t believe the stepfather hasn’t received any prison time.
According to the comments, in a 2 hour video of them on "crybaby confessions" Kyle had no remorse for killing the kid
Kyle got freed like in 2019
I have noticed that female police officers and detectives take no nonsense
@@Olden_1 Kyle is still in prison. Charlie Ely is the one that got out. Amber: OMG I'm going to be 20 by the time I get out.

I absolutely love this with all my heart!!
She had no idea that you don't have to do a murder yourself to get a murderers sentence
Love this for her. Is there a video that shows the trial or more on the sentences?
The fact that Amber keeps saying she didn't do anything is just mind boggling to me. I know at the time this footage was taken she was 15, but even so, you lured your ex-boyfriend to what you knew would be his death. I have no doubt that if this hadn't happened and Amber grew older and got married, we'd be seeing her as an adult in an interrogation room on suspicion of murdering her husband.
I have no doubt she riled them all up. I mean, according to mike she made claims seth r**ed her. She made claims he assaulted her all the time. Everyone hated the kid based on tales she told and drama that unfolded from those stories.. and him being in bed with her brother's ex. Now that the evil deed is done she wants to throw her hands up and say "they're clean. I didn't do anything!". Narcissists do that kind of stuff all the time. They get others to do their bidding to keep their 'hands clean', so they can always declare innocence even when they're the ones who set things in motion. The actual name for those doing their bidding is 'flying monkeys'.
She definitely gives off that vibe. They all have that white trashy vibe too lol
Its still probably gonna happen. Notice how we didnt hear anything about hers and Kyles sentence. Because they are minors and were probably released at 18. Ed Kemper killed 2 people at 15 and was released a few years later. Those 2 are out there for sure.
