Hi. So I'm wondering what your exact hardware setup is. You have the PS5 set to 1440p output w HDR off. The HD60s+ captures this on the PC. Do you use the ElGato software at all to capture 1440p? Also, do you use the HD60S+ ouput HDMI port to a separate monitor to show on a 1440P monitor? This is what I'm wondering because I have an ElGato HD60S+ with a 1440p, 144hz monitor. I verified that my PS5 can output 1440p to my monitor. Let me know. Thanks.
I use the Elgato HD60s + in conjunction with my MacBook for capture and as you saw in the video, 1440p on PS5 with HDR off :) I use OBS to capture the footage, it does it much better than Elgato's own software, it is more flexible & has better codecs :) I only use one monitor, i.e the MacBook's own screen to display PS5 games as it is 16 inches so plenty big enough to play :) The MacBook has a 3K or so - 3456x2236 :)
