St Patrick's Day Parade ended at Fitzgeralds, fantastic. Great day, great atmosphere. Some fantastic, interesting and atmospheric pubs in Liverpool. We are blessed.
Sadly a lot of pubs in this country are closing. I do not think any of these ten will close. The beer is good in all of them and they all have lots of character. NIce staff too.
I have taken photos of the Belvedere. Sorry about the wait. It may be a while before the pub goes into a video. I cannot just throw these videos together quickly. Have to have enough photos for each one. Agree with you about the Belvedere. It has lots of character. You can take your drink, and drink upstairs if you want to. Thanks for comment. Vaughan
BEEN TO LIVERPOOL LAST YEAR ...BUT NOT BEEN TO ANY OF THESE BEAUTIFUL PUBS ...STILL I WAS INSIDE THE CAVERN CLUB THOUGH 🎵😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💖🙏🏻THEM TOO HAVE GREAT BEERS INSIDE 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪😂😂😂😂😂😂
The blob is quite good. But outside of the city centre there are equally good pubs. The Crown, the hare and Hounds and the hunters Lodge West Derby. And I like the Black Horse old Swan. In the city centre I have always liked the Midland and the Central in Ranlegh Srreet.
I never visited UK or Liverpool is my dream destination before I get too old. I'm big fan of LFC since 80s and hope one day I can watch them in Anfield and get drunk in these beautiful pubs and bars. Buy the way what is the first song name?
Thank you Nico for your nice comment. Hope you enjoy the city when you finally get here. I do not live in Liverpool. I live about eleven miles away. Lived there 50 years ago. I love to go to Liverpool with my camera to take pictures. The first song is called Needles and Pins by the Searchers. It was a number one for them. They are probably the second most successful band after the Beatles. Do have a look at my video called Liverpool FC Slideshow. You will like it. Vaughan
The Swan in Wood Street is on another slideshow called More Liverpool Pubs Slideshow 1. It is about the tenth pub you see on that video. The idea of my first video was to concentrate mostly on pubs with interesting interiors as well as exteriors. I know what your are saying. Some pubs sell excellent beer and are recommended by many for that reason. The Swan is one of those. My choices were based on a number of things. Which had most character. Which were the best kept. Had the best atmosphere etc. So it was complicated. Thanks for the comment.

Lovely comment. There are still so many traditional corner street pubs still providing pleasure including Fitzgeralds. Yes.
It's a great city for so many things.
That is how I feel too. thanks for comment
Been in them all but in London now and bloody homesick watching this now 😢
Pleased to hear this. The kind of reply I like. Thanks.
I’ll visit them in October 2024 all the way from Austin Texas

The rocking horse
The Ship and Mitre
I have put this one on More Liverpool Pubs Slideshow 1. They have the biggest beer selection in Liverpool, or so I believe. Vaughan
The blob & tess Rileys two of Liverpool's finest
I am preparing more videos of pubs and bars and will be downloading them quite soon. Those two pubs may be among the next photos.

@retroguy49uk Thank you for the information 🙏🏻 I will definitely check your other videos 📹
Beautiful, ornate buildings. They put the modern eyesores to shame.
Yes. That is why I wanted to photograph them all. Thanks for comment. Vaughan
