At last you have been to the greatest city.. Liverpool is the safest place to go in the north west of England.. glad you both enjoyed your visit.. keep it up
It's nice to have positive things sad about Liverpool instead of negative things its nice to have people like you coming to Liverpool saying positive things about your stay in Liverpool people who have never been to Liverpool say negative things Liverpool is amazing place get ya selfs down to Liverpool you will have a different view of Liverpool
I'm a Sheffielder, had to go to Liverpool a few years back, was expecting a crime ridden, run-down dump, that's all I had ever heard of the place...........couldn't be more wrong, I found it a smashing place, full of some of the friendliest people you'll find, plenty to do in the centre, not a ghost town like many places, pleasant walks.
I like Sheffield. Had some friends there. Yes the papers and the jealous ones will always try to keep liverpool down, but they can never @rickbaines8262
@@eightiesmusic1984No more than any other city … London is rough as but only gets half the negative publicity so not sure why you’ve even mentioned the above.
Brings back memories watching this mate, i'm from london and i use to see a girl from up there, the people were great, really treated me well, no trouble, good place. Thanks for the content, God bless.
As a scouser born n bred, really enjoyed this. The incorrect stereotypes of the 80’s couldn’t be more wrong. You realise that as soon as you come here. Liverpool is an amazing place. Not many cities can touch it for architecture and night life or the hospitality of its locals. Regarding the Adelphi, it’s one of Liverpool’s grandest buildings, it’s just in the wrong hands. The owners won’t sell up despite many offers to do so, it should be Liverpool’s most luxurious hotel in a prime spot. I’m sure it will end up in the right hands one day. Also, you seen the Anglican cathedral (the most spectacular) but you didn’t see the Wigwam cathedral. Theres 2. 😂 plenty to still see on your next visit.
@@scottohare8355 I agree but that building is one of Liverpool’s grandest, the rooms haven’t been decorated for 30 years. It should be a luxury hotel given the building itself

I am not involved with farming now but still understand the connection, the wife and me are both retired we eat meat once a day most of which is purchased from an organic farm whose cattle are grass fed. Keep up the good work Pete, regards to you, Hilary and your family.

Fabulous. Just went back in time to 1980. -1986. The Albert Dock, I remember the first docks to be regenerated and I worked at a stall in there about 1985. My favourite drinking city, it used to be Manchester, before it attempted to become the London of the North, Liverpool still has that down to earth feel about it. Scousers are a friendly bunch, though if you meet a bad one, they will be very bad. You seemed to have enjoyed yourselves, despite an initial poor choice of pubs. When you were stood at the traffic lights, there was an Okells of the Isle Of Man pub right behind you, you would've liked that. It is grade 2 listed and is next door to another pub the Lady of Mann. My favourites are the Baltic Fleet, Lion Tavern, Cracke and the Belvedere. Great Vlog.

😂 I love that sweet shop, I accidentally left my purse on a shelf there. I took my little boys after we’d been to the Tate, I was absolutely being mithered by them and didn’t realise what I’d done and by the time I got home I’d realised I’d lost my purse. 🤦♀️ I rang up the shop and someone had handed it in. I was probably guilty of having that opinion too. We loved it and felt very safe
You a top couple. Respect to each other. Nice Lady too. Can't half hold a Guinness too!
Just come across your channel..I’m from Liverpool & biased I know but it is the best city! 😂 I already love how funny you’s are and can’t wait too watch more of your vlogs 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 xx
Hi beautiful
Upstairs is the gay bar in Poste House. I’m a local lol. I was thinking was you going to go upstairs or did you know. Lol
really enjoyed this, i always enjoy people who come to this city and enjoy it for what it actually is and not stay away because of bad rumours of what it isn't.
however next time you come and you want a good proper pub... 2 must visits, the lady of man, and the Cornmarket, both in the city center and both brilliant traditional pubs serving a very very good pint..
hope to see you both here again.
New subscriber to the channel, stumbled upon this and im enjoying it. Looking forward to watch the rest of the vids. Keep up the great work.
Really pleased you guys enjoyed our city, love the vlogs.
This was truly youtube gold and by far the best thing I've watched on the youtube this week.... a great duo when you do these sort of videos.....your comic quips are so well aimed and well timed.... both natural entertainers.... ❤🎉
Thank you, I appreciate that 🙂
Top class video keep up the good work
Great vid! Love Liverpool night out. I was waiting for your reaction to Mathew Street (Cavern pub and down), as its crazy and like benidorm strip!
Liverpool is a great city to visit.
One of our favourite places to go eat, drink, shop, sitesee or just enjoy..You2 great 👍 👌 😊
Funny that, been looking at that place since last year, definitely going to try this, many thanks... Just like us you two.... Genuine... 👌🏻☺️
Lived here in L'pool for 30 years; always loved it. But somehow, the videos of your visit have made me so proud to be here; especially as I work in hospitality and that is such a huge part of your visits schedule.
Please come back and I'll show you more cool gaffs here.!
xx
😂 I love that sweet shop, I accidentally left my purse on a shelf there. I took my little boys after we’d been to the Tate, I was absolutely being mithered by them and didn’t realise what I’d done and by the time I got home I’d realised I’d lost my purse. 🤦♀️ I rang up the shop and someone had handed it in. Can’t tell you the relief. Shop owners are lovely.
Omg! It's terrible when that happens! Thank god a lovely soul handed it in and the lovely ladies in the shop 🥰
Nice couple glad you enjoyed Liverpool
