I love this lady 🙌🏾 I’m a very “by the book” person and she’s one of the ONLY few Haitians I know that tells you EXACTLY how much to add, when to add it, and for how long. I was 💀 after she said “5 cloves” lol most of the time they just throw it in there. SUBSCRIBED.

I just ate Haitian food for the first time and I needed to know how the rice was made because it was seriously the best rice I've ever tasted in my life. Thank you so much for explaining all the steps! I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit intimidated by all the steps required, especially with the epis, but it's definitely worth it! I'm a huge fan of Haiti as a country, and I'm so excited to try more Haitian food. It all looks so good. Merci!!
SHE IS BEAUTIFUL and I'm happy for an easier way than what I have always done...starting with bacon... this recipe seems more healthy than mine...THANK YOU!!

Hi, I love how direct and through you are with your steps and directions. I made my red rice and beans this morning and it came out great. The only ingredients I did not have or used was parsley, golden butter and coconut milk. I added scallion and maggi cube. Are the otherr ingredients i mentioned optional or are they must haves to make this rice rich?
Hi marie....now am hungry....loving the pot that you cooked the rice...it looks beautiful and strong....i pay attention to details...lol Where did u purchase it from?
If using canned beans, how much water do i add in measurements? I made this recipe about over twenty times, but I keep forgetting my measurements for asding the water
How is your beans cooking in 1.5 hours. My beans cook all day and that is soaking overnight. Do you cook on low heat with pot top on? What am I doing wrong?

If you cook high heat your beans can be cooked in 1.5hrs, also try to cover your pot
Hello, Mrs. Marie besides, regular butter what other kind of butter is being used??? Can the epes be made or brought??
You can use any type of butter as your preference and as for the Epis I have a video on my channel where I show you how to make it 🤗
Could give us the ingredients you use in your epis.
Thank You for sharing!
You are welcome and I hope you enjoyed it 😌
Thank you Marie ! ❤️
Parfait merci
Great video as always. Where do you get that kind of string to tie the parsley and thyme? I don't know how you call it lol
I just use regular clothes string that I washed 3 times with soap and tie it around it 🤔
You can buy Twine String at your local grocery and or craft store.
Hmm yummy
Thank you 😊 so much I appreciate the comment
