I just ordered one. The one dealership in KC (ThoroughbreedFord) wanted $5K over MSRP; no way on God’s green Earth! Our local small Ford dealership in Junction City, KS (ValorAutoGroup) didn’t do the markup thing. It’ll take a bit for it to be built and come in, but we’re excited. Great video, my friend. God bless.
I'd so trade in my Bronco for one. Dealers here in Vegas are 10 to 20K over MSRP.......
I ordered one from a small family owned dealership here in NC and I'm also paying MSRP
If you had to guess how long from ordering one to delivery?
Here where im from dealers have this ranger raptor at $80k.
Yup in Vegas I was quoted 80k at one dealership and 75k at another. Of course went with the 75k. Should get it in three months.
Looks as good as the full-size Raptor but this one will fit in my garage.

I keep my eyes open for that video Will.
Great review! Just subscribed 👍
Just got mine a earlier this week, same color except I have upgraded wheels, graphics package and liner, so far love it
Now I feel like I'm owning one the way this review has been projected, full information, great Sir
Super sharp truck 👍😎🇺🇸
Solid review bro. Have had one on order since last July
Amazing job Will & I might buy this vehicle.
Cool! I was waiting for one!
Great thorough review. Just got mine and love it more every day.
Glad you enjoyed it! 👍🏼
This truck is bad ass!
Excellent presentation.
great review. i have had my Ranger Raptor since mid April. i did not order it, just purchased it off a lot, i only paid 2k over MSRP, i was ok with that. i am coming from F150's and was worried about the midsize, but i have to say it is a blast to drive. I love it is so easy to drive and park in smaller areas, also fits great in my garage. lol it has a lot of power and is fully loaded. mine came with the spray in liner as well. only needs a bed cover and i will be good to go. would highly recommend if looking for a midsize.
Just curious, does this truck have electronic folding side mirrors?
Not being a jerk but if u want the 405 hp u have to use 93 oct the truck will learn that it has a higher oct and will adjust the timing to give u the gains
thats pretty much standard on all turbos engines. you should be using 93 oct for max gains.
Hey I noticed that you don’t review any land rovers. Are you able to?
Isn’t this the 6th gen ranger? 0:30. Your video is awesome. Solid overall review
It’s only second generation ranger raptor. The first gen only had a 4 cylinder diesel engine. Was a great truck but way down on power. The second generation was designed snd engineered in Australia. Australia has had this truck for more than 2 years now.
The paddle shifters are metal not plastic...
Which one is faster , this or the Tacoma pro ?
This is almost 2 seconds quicker 0-60
Spray in bed liner from the factory is available as an option.
TRD Pro 65k isn't even a mark up. That's just Toyota losing their minds and pricing themselves out of the mid-size market.
Sounds like getting the Raptor tuned right off the lot could get a boost as well.
Not just the TRD. The SR5 cost as much a nicely equipped XLT with FX4 package/rear locker. An off road can cost 55K dollars and that does not even have leather or the luxury package. Plus its all assembled with cheap labor in Mexico. To me, Toyota's thinking that their fan base has no limits on how much "toyota tax" they are will to spend. But that's not what i'm reading on the toyota forums. The die hards are fed up and more then willing to switch brands. Toyota is making a giant misstep.
Im leaning towards the Ranger Raptor or the TRD PRO
Raptor is head and shoulders above the TRD. Front lockers, a couple hundred extra lbs payload, 4 auto, V6, tow tech package, fox live valve, more rear legroom. You just get so much more capability with the raptor.
You do realize the TRD will cost 65-70K as that has already been announced by the mighty Toy. However the Raptor at 56K will completely annihilate the TRD. Not even close. And the Raptor can carry 4 adults comfortably. The 4th gen taco's back seat is unusable. If you want a cheaply made Mexican truck full of hard plastics and overpay then the taco is your best choice. Forget what people say about bad Ford quality. Yes allot of that is true but the Wayne plant puts out good build quality since 2019. Its the one exception of a good product from Ford.
@@marklihsu Yeah the entire 4th gen line for the taco is completely overpriced. None of them are competitive in the segment. Its a cheaply made Mexican truck full of hard plastics. Once the fan bois get their fill as new adopters it will be a very hard sell. Especially since Toyota says they want to pump out 100K more/year. It won't take long before these start rotting on the lots next to the Tundras which also don't sell worth a crap. And yeah, that truck has very bad quality. Gone are the quality builds like the land cruiser model 200, the GX 460, and soon the mighty 4 runner will join the crappy TNGA platform. Toyota is a mere shell of how good they once were.
@@HiPlains1I've heard some complaints about RR build quality. Mis-aligned body panels, panel gaps, interior rattles etc. The leather stretching out on the bottom of the driver's seat almost immediately is ridiculous for a truck that costs 60k
I have purchased 2 Tacomas but I would purchase the Raptor over the new Trd Pro….well done ford
Couldn’t agree more 👍🏼
It's still shocking that the TRD pro is 65k and has a 4cylinder mixed with an electric engine... going to be $$ to fix... because you know... everything breaks at some point. Rather take the raptor and reduce the possible points of failure.
At 56K its a bargain when you consider the TRD pro will come in at 65-70K. And this thing will completely obliterate Toyota's best effort. Not even close. Not even remotely so lol.
You’ll be paying $10,000 above MSRP if you can find one ordered by a Dealer! I was able to gather one fi $5,000 above msrp before the market increase went to $10,000!
