Love that the life jackets are at the muster stations. When the Costa Concordia tipped on the rocks and then lost power - people had to go down and back up in tipped stairwells in the DARK to get their life jackets.
There is no question this is the most detailed and enjoyable cruise video I have ever seen. And your narration to accompany the tour was splendid. You had me ready to jump off my chair and go book a cruise - I have not taken one since the pandemic. Great video guys. 👍👍
i've been on the Beyond's sister ship, the Apex. It really does feel like a 5 star resort and not a cruise ship. Even the movements of the ship were like butter. You hardly could tell you were in the ocean and moving, it was so smooth. And we thought the food in the Main Dining Room (we ate mostly at Cosmopolitan) was the best MDR food we've ever had on a cruise ship. This is the newest class of ships from Celebrity. They're called E-class and highly luxurious.
We just came back from Carnival Celebration and WOW! What a difference! This is definitely more of our style/vibes. We love Celebrity but have been cruising with other more kid friendly ships but now that our daughter is a bit older, this definitely makes us want to go back to Celebrity again!!

Celebrity is our new favorite. Been on the Edge, Apex, Equinox, Solstice, Constellation and Eclipse. Sailing on Beyond next June. Even the older ships are beautiful! It is a more mature crowd but not as senior as Holland!
Welcome to Celebrity - we sailed on her sister Apex for 19 nights in a very spacious interior and had a wonderful time. Rooftop Garden was one of my favorite outdoor spaces and Eden was a peaceful place to read a book or play a board game during the day. We sailed from Akureyri, Iceland enjoying the view from one of the deck 16 hot tubs - amazing sail up the fjord.
I have to say that I really dislike the balcony setup. I love to sit on the balcony with my feet on the bottom rail, snacks on the table and the wind in my hair. Why pay for a balcony cabin if you have to stick your head out of the window like a Labrador?
We became experts continually mending the infinite balcony blind!! This must be an ongoing problem for the maintenance staff. We did not like the infinite balcony which was very small. Felt like an ocean view with a window that you could open. Lovely ship and excellent staff but I doubt if we would go on the Beyond again as we like the open feeling of a normal balcony.
I had no idea you hadn't been on Celebrity before! We'll be on our third Celebrity cruise, travelling on the Beyond in the Mediterranean in May after two previous cruises on the Solstice to Alaska and New Zealand. I loved both our cruises before and my favourite lines are Celebrity and NCL so I am really looking forward to hearing what you think of your inaugural Celebrity cruise. Warm Regards from Australia.
Superb video and very enjoyable as well as informative. I cannot help wondering how the light colours used on carpets and furnishings throughout the ship will stand up to wear and tear, given the way some people treat things that are not their own. The very spacious buffet will hopefully encourage other operators to follow Celebrity's lead.
This is the best cruise ship I have seen in a long time. The colour scheme I exactly to my taste and the room!! That balcony I LOVE IT! Thank you both for doing what you do, without you (and sweet Stef) I would be lost on which cruise ship to choose, but now you have definitely made my mind up 😁

I was about to say the same as well. I have sailed on Apex which is an edge class ship and it was my favorite cruise to date. I’ve also sailed on the millennium class and am going on solstice class this summer. I am a Celebrity fan through and through. The food is amazing and the four main dining rooms is a really innovative idea so it’s not as crowded and you can try different cuisines whether it be American, French, Mediterranean, or Italian. Looking forward to the rest of your series on Beyond.
@@pamelabrauer9450 we are Elite with Celebrity and have now tried each class of ship. Our least favorite is M-class, mainly due to the spa and outdated common rooms (Constellation and Infinity, but not Millennium). Our last cruise was on the Apex (E-class). We thought it was the best MDR food on any Celebrity ship to date. We really liked the solarium (so much nicer) and the theater. We didn't like the layout of the ship, compared to the S-class ships. Seems to be a lot of wasted space on the E-class and hard pass on The Club area. No windows?? Lack of cute lounge spaces was a tad disappointing. S-class ships are our favorite. While we didn't hate the infinite veranda, we prefer a normal veranda like the M and S class ships. And we love all the little lounge spaces on S-class. It's also much more modern in decor and tech than the M-class ships.

I’m so glad you finally did a Celebrity cruise. It’s my and my husbands favourite cruise line. We just got off the Apex last month and it’s a sister ship to the Beyond. The crazy hallway to Eden on the Apex I called the snowball hall, so much fun.

I love the balcony! My favourite cabin that I’ve ever had was a floor to ceiling window on MSC, because I love the views and the light, but not so much the water, spiders and weather of a traditional balcony! It’s not for everyone but personally I think the infinite concept is brilliant.
So excited to see your Beyond review. I watched it while on the second week of our Beyond cruises the past two weeks. We happened to be in the cabin 2 doors from yours. I spoke to your cabin steward who remembered you but didn't know about your You Tube channel. She was very excited to go watch your videos. We also had two amazing weeks onboard!!
12:20 Oh wow! They fixed the Sunset Bar! On the Celebrity Edge trip we took in 2019 the Sunset Bar was ruined, total shit comparing it to the Solstice-class ships. Even our bartender said that the Celebrity Edge's new Sunset bar was not well-liked, and it may be reworked. I guess it did. And 7:16 Wheel of Prosperity, HA! More like the wheel of losing your money. 😂But yes, Celebrity is fantastic. We've sailed with them since 2012 about 14 cruises now. We crossed the Panama Canal back in 2013 on the Celebrity Millennium. it was a little old but was well maintained. It was quite the memorable trip. I still can't believe that 3/4 of the passengers were inside the ship at the pool or decks. We were standing in the walkways, and you could actually touch the wall of the Panama Canal.
I love the orange outside floating bar/dinning thing!! So sorry weather will not cooperate. I would have loved seeing you din on it. What a modern ship. Not sure about the infinity balcony. I love sitting outside. You’ll have to update me on your options of it. I’ve heard Eden dinning is wonderful. And the top deck with the live trees looks beautiful. Have a great cruise!!
The infinite balcony is similar to a Scenic river cruise ship in Europe which we liked a lot. Agree that the ship generally seems sophisticated and grownup. Wonder how outdoor areas would be if the weather wasn’t great? Looking for something comparable to Holland and this may fit the bill.
I just booked a Tokyo cruise on Celebrity today! Prices are too good not to. Of course it’s. It until summer 2024 😂😂😂 . It will be my first non Holland America cruise. I’m excited to try out Celebrity
You may not want to be on that big ole orange bar when they're in a busy port or leaving a busy port cuz a chance of a ship accidentally sideswiping the ship that your on, it is greater when the port is crowded forty ships to accidentally collide with and most collisions in Port are sideswipes so for safety reasons I would keep it closed and uninhabited until out to see

So excited to sail on this ship in September!! I have any time dining and all of the restaurants appear to be booked up already! Will they open up more spots on embarkation day? I'll be in a solo balcony, so no sofa, and a queen sized bed, which doesn't break apart, so no seam down the middle. Yay!
I was in one of those rooms with the infinite balcony. I like a little light coming into the room in the morning so I know I didn't wake up in the middle of the night. So, I closed the blackout blinds almost all the way. I left about 3 inches at the bottom open, so no one can see in in case you wake up with another ship next to you. And, that helps me to not sleep in so late. Just a thought for anyone who cruises on Celebrity in the future.

This has been my 4th cruise line. My fave has always been royal Caribbean…..however, after sailing on celebrity…..they are now my no 1~~. Yes the crowd is older……but its a chill mood! I got to meet so many people and it was wonderful… i absolutely loved the buffets! I tried so many different foods and enjoyed them all….the staff was wonderful…. I’m older now..& its quite refreshing to see mostly adults around! I do like your window…. I know its not a balcony….but its so open! If you want the wind blowing in your hair- just go on deck!!!! People don’t like change…..i just say….. roll with it!! Great review!! I enjoyed it !! (Even if you’re British! 😅😊)
I could have SWORN you've sailed Celebrity before! We've been loyal to this line for over a decade now, and while we've cruised with others for family and friends, Celebrity will always be our first choice. We were on the Beyond in December and it's now our favorite ship! Also - Celebrity is proud of its modern art on ALL its ships. You can take an iPad art tour on all of them!
I love Celebrity cruises! Can't wait to sail on Celebrity Beyond one day! I am still not sure about the infinity balcony, I need to see it in person. But the food, service, everything on Celebrity cruises is great! I am so happy you finally got to experience it 😊👍
If you try it and don’t like the infinite balcony, try the Apex or Edge as they are very similar in decor and amenities but have traditional as well as infinite balconies. Personally, we don’t like infinite balconies because of the temperature issues it causes in the room.
I absolutely love U two - the other subscribers are correct - you should both host a tv show. If ever possible, could you please film spa treatments offered by cruise ships. Would love to see if they are worth the exorbitant prices charged for these services on cruise ships. Also, another question: would love to know what destinations you recommend. Favorites, cost/price, favorite cruise lines, whatever you think should be considered when determining which cruise to select. Thank you both!!!

Ben & David - I subscribe to your channel and like the authentic enthusiasm you bring to all your cruises. I am so glad you finally get to experience Celebrity. It is my preferred cruise line with its more premium experience and I am pleased that you had a good time on the Celebrity Beyond (one of the Edge class ships). If you want to try a more traditional cruising experience on Celebrity, I encourage you to try one of their Solstice class ships. Different experience but amazing as well.
I was so glad to see that you guys were staying in an Infinite Balcony - I’ve heard SUCH mixed reviews about the experience of those rooms. Personally, a HUGE upgrade from my usual inside cabins, but not sure I’d prefer it to a balcony. Fab video from you both as always! 🎉

I'm still shocked this is your first Celebrity cruise, but you certainly did it well! We've only cruised with Celebrity but will branch out a bit soon. We have four Celebrity Cruises currently scheduled --one on the Beyond this winter to Grand Cayman, Panama and the ABC islands. I can't explain how excited we are! I truly hope being on the Beyond with Captain Kate has left a positive lasting impression of Celebrity Cruises with you both. We adore you guys!

Omg guys l was on the Apex Feb 25th to March 4th! Amazingly similar, beautiful and my single infinity balcony was fabulous! I had a bigger shower than yours!!! And the price was fantastic with lots of OBC. They treated me like a queen! What a fabulous cruise. Can't wait to try the Beyond!!

I love relaxing on the balcony chair and foot stool on RCCL. These chairs were not to my liking at all.
It's more of a sunroom, not a balcony.
They have a small number of traditional aft balconies called sunset verandas and cove balconies called porthole verandas.

I’m so glad you finally did a Celebrity cruise. It’s my and my husbands favourite cruise line. We just got off the Apex last month and it’s a sister ship to the Beyond. The crazy hallway to Eden on the Apex I called the snowball hall, so much fun.

I love the balcony! My favourite cabin that I’ve ever had was a floor to ceiling window on MSC, because I love the views and the light, but not so much the water, spiders and weather of a traditional balcony! It’s not for everyone but personally I think the infinite concept is brilliant.
I do love a balcony the black out blind is a nice idea. Love the bathroom and how spacious the cabin is.

We just love Celebrity!! Just got off the Summit two weeks ago. Our favorite place to relax is Cafe Bucio. Great coffee/tea and yummy pastries!!!
So excited to see your Beyond review. I watched it while on the second week of our Beyond cruises the past two weeks. We happened to be in the cabin 2 doors from yours. I spoke to your cabin steward who remembered you but didn't know about your You Tube channel. She was very excited to go watch your videos. We also had two amazing weeks onboard!!
12:20 Oh wow! They fixed the Sunset Bar! On the Celebrity Edge trip we took in 2019 the Sunset Bar was ruined, total shit comparing it to the Solstice-class ships. Even our bartender said that the Celebrity Edge's new Sunset bar was not well-liked, and it may be reworked. I guess it did. And 7:16 Wheel of Prosperity, HA! More like the wheel of losing your money. 😂But yes, Celebrity is fantastic.
We've sailed with them since 2012 about 14 cruises now. We crossed the Panama Canal back in 2013 on the Celebrity Millennium. it was a little old but was well maintained. It was quite the memorable trip. I still can't believe that 3/4 of the passengers were inside the ship at the pool or decks. We were standing in the walkways, and you could actually touch the wall of the Panama Canal.
I've been on the Celebrity Flora, with same balcony style. Loved it. Makes the room more spacious. Only opened the window a few minutes at a time.

I love the orange outside floating bar/dinning thing!! So sorry weather will not cooperate. I would have loved seeing you din on it. What a modern ship. Not sure about the infinity balcony. I love sitting outside. You’ll have to update me on your options of it. I’ve heard Eden dinning is wonderful. And the top deck with the live trees looks beautiful. Have a great cruise!!
The infinite balcony is similar to a Scenic river cruise ship in Europe which we liked a lot. Agree that the ship generally seems sophisticated and grownup. Wonder how outdoor areas would be if the weather wasn’t great? Looking for something comparable to Holland and this may fit the bill.
I just booked a Tokyo cruise on Celebrity today! Prices are too good not to. Of course it’s. It until summer 2024 😂😂😂 . It will be my first non Holland America cruise. I’m excited to try out Celebrity
You may not want to be on that big ole orange bar when they're in a busy port or leaving a busy port cuz a chance of a ship accidentally sideswiping the ship that your on, it is greater when the port is crowded forty ships to accidentally collide with and most collisions in Port are sideswipes so for safety reasons I would keep it closed and uninhabited until out to see

We just booked an Eastern Caribbean cruise from San Juan on Viva from NCL. with our kids and new son in law for next April! Expensive but can’t wait. Just watched your Prima video.
Very similar to Apex, including the mirrored tunnel to Eden.
I did have the virtualisering balcony and really loved it!!
So excited to sail on this ship in September!! I have any time dining and all of the restaurants appear to be booked up already! Will they open up more spots on embarkation day? I'll be in a solo balcony, so no sofa, and a queen sized bed, which doesn't break apart, so no seam down the middle. Yay!
Not a fan of infinite balconies but LOVE Celebrity balcony staterooms.!

Infinite Verandah Cabin
I was in one of those rooms with the infinite balcony. I like a little light coming into the room in the morning so I know I didn't wake up in the middle of the night. So, I closed the blackout blinds almost all the way. I left about 3 inches at the bottom open, so no one can see in in case you wake up with another ship next to you. And, that helps me to not sleep in so late. Just a thought for anyone who cruises on Celebrity in the future.

Thanks for the review!!! I’m scheduled to go on the beyond in 2 weeks!! I can hardly wait!! I just got back on the Equinox last month (my first celebrity!) & i was really impressed! This has been my 4th cruise line. My fave has always been royal Caribbean…..however, after sailing on celebrity…..they are now my no 1~~. Yes the crowd is older……but its a chill mood! I got to meet so many people and it was wonderful… i absolutely loved the buffets! I tried so many different foods and enjoyed them all….the staff was wonderful…. I’m older now..& its quite refreshing to see mostly adults around! I do like your window…. I know its not a balcony….but its so open! If you want the wind blowing in your hair- just go on deck!!!! People don’t like change…..i just say….. roll with it!! Great review!! I enjoyed it !! (Even if you’re British! 😅😊)
I could have SWORN you've sailed Celebrity before! We've been loyal to this line for over a decade now, and while we've cruised with others for family and friends, Celebrity will always be our first choice. We were on the Beyond in December and it's now our favorite ship! Also - Celebrity is proud of its modern art on ALL its ships. You can take an iPad art tour on all of them!

I love Celebrity cruises! Can't wait to sail on Celebrity Beyond one day! I am still not sure about the infinity balcony, I need to see it in person. But the food, service, everything on Celebrity cruises is great! I am so happy you finally got to experience it 😊👍
If you try it and don’t like the infinite balcony, try the Apex or Edge as they are very similar in decor and amenities but have traditional as well as infinite balconies. Personally, we don’t like infinite balconies because of the temperature issues it causes in the room.

I absolutely love U two - the other subscribers are correct - you should both host a tv show. If ever possible, could you please film spa treatments offered by cruise ships. Would love to see if they are worth the exorbitant prices charged for these services on cruise ships. Also, another question: would love to know what destinations you recommend. Favorites, cost/price, favorite cruise lines, whatever you think should be considered when determining which cruise to select. Thank you both!!!

Talking of dress codes, we were on the Majestic Princess in December (Xmas/NY cruise to New Zealand) and was in the buffet restaurant and couldn’t believe it when there was a couple in there for lunch in their bathrobes 😩😳🙄

Ben & David - I subscribe to your channel and like the authentic enthusiasm you bring to all your cruises. I am so glad you finally get to experience Celebrity. It is my preferred cruise line with its more premium experience and I am pleased that you had a good time on the Celebrity Beyond (one of the Edge class ships). If you want to try a more traditional cruising experience on Celebrity, I encourage you to try one of their Solstice class ships. Different experience but amazing as well.

I was so glad to see that you guys were staying in an Infinite Balcony - I’ve heard SUCH mixed reviews about the experience of those rooms. Personally, a HUGE upgrade from my usual inside cabins, but not sure I’d prefer it to a balcony.

I'm still shocked this is your first Celebrity cruise, but you certainly did it well! We've only cruised with Celebrity but will branch out a bit soon. We have four Celebrity Cruises currently scheduled --one on the Beyond this winter to Grand Cayman, Panama and the ABC islands. I can't explain how excited we are! I truly hope being on the Beyond with Captain Kate has left a positive lasting impression of Celebrity Cruises with you both. We adore you guys!

Omg guys l was on the Apex Feb 25th to March 4th! Amazingly similar, beautiful and my single infinity balcony was fabulous! I had a bigger shower than yours!!! And the price was fantastic with lots of OBC. They treated me like a queen! What a fabulous cruise. Can't wait to try the Beyond!!
