Hello from France again. It would be great for newbies like me to see you on a video when you to the procedure to install the drivers for the adaptateurs , the whole procedure from scratch , with the three moniteurs working at the end. Step by step :). And I’m sure you would have a lot of viewers if you made that video ;)
Yes, with USB-C only you can connect two monitors. But you will only have USB-A and HDMI left. I think it is best to use a USB-C to HDMI adapater so you have one USB-C free for toher peripherals. Unless you are ok with no available USB-C...it would work. But HDMI is still the best.
thank you. You helped me a lot. I need to buy more hardware and will buy the same item you have, usb to HDMI by Wavlink. At least I know it will be compatible with Display Link.
I have a Mac mini 7.1 with the intel core i5. I have an HDMI and 2 mini DP to DP cables. No matter the order I plug them in, I can only get two to be detected and show. I have tried to identify monitors in the display setting but that won't work. Thank you for the help!
I used to have an iMac with 2 thunderbolt ports. I was able to connect two additional monitors. I know for sure that you can connect more monitors with the intel processor. I’m just not sure what problems you are encountering with your mac mini.
I have a Mac mini a 2348 late 2020. I get the usb to hdmi adapter but what did you connect the second usb cable to ? And is it a usb to usb cable or what? If I may ask which brand of display port to usbc are you using ?
Thanks for your reply. Someone commented on the product review that playing HD video on 3rd monitor increases the temperature of the Mac mini. @@RollyMagpayo
@@diporko2486 I never had that kind of experience. I use my computer on long periods of time and I use it everyday. I edit videos up to 4K. My Mac Mini M1 fan doesn't even emit any sound.
You can connect 1 monitor port. Then connect the other two monitors via the thunderbolt port using a HDMI to Mini Display Port. You can also connect to the USB Port by using a Display Link Adapter like the one on the video. The HDMI to Mini Display cable is cheaper than the Display Link Adapter and doesnt require a driver
What if you haven’t used the 2nd lightning port? How do you get the Mac to recognize the monitor? I have one connected via the HDMI and two connected via lightning port, but the Mac isn’t recognizing the 2nd lightning port monitor.
I don’t understand, where does the Huion Kamvas come from? I thought we were talking about Wavlink. And if the Huion Kamvas is the adapter, why do you need to connect anything in the second USB A port? I’m confused
The Huion Kamvas is not connected to the Display Adapter the LG is the pne connected to the adapter. The Huion needs two ports to connect to, HDMI for the actual display and the USB for the extender. I haven’t tried it with the USB disconnected because I also need the extender (hub) to connect external drives.
I have not experienced freezing in my adapter, but sometimes the monitor doesn't show as if nothing is connected. It's a hassle but I just disconnect and reconnect it. It happens only a few times.
Hello from France. Do you have the exact reference of your adaptator usb 3.0 to HDMI ? It would be a great help to have the exact same one as yours for my Mac mini m1 ?

That’s why I wanted to get the exact reference of yours , to be sure to receive one that works properly. The form factor of the one here in Europe doesn’t look like yours.

I have 2 Apple cinema thunderbolt displays I hooked up to my Mac mini via USB-C doggles. I want to connect a 3rd monitor (Dell). Tried it directly to the HDMI port and Mac mini doesn't seem to want to take more than 2. Recommendations?
If you already connected 2 - 4k monitors, I’m not sure if you can connect a third monitor. If you have extra 2k or Full HD monitors, you can try it. I think Mac Mini only allows 2-4k or 5k monitors.
What do you mean Huion Kamvas Adapter? Are you referring to the Display Adapter? because that is not Huion. Please clarify so I could give you a clear answer
