Explore the same place over and over... season was not there I will already stop playing but fortunately I like music, the instruments are there to keep me on the game :)

I'll be honest, I like this version of Isle better than the live version. It does a much better job of capturing the loneliness and desolation of the world. Plus the Elders granting you Winged Light makes them feel much more involved
The land of sky is now brimming with friends. I think it was quite a bit chiller because you had to have a invite for beta and now the whole world can play. BETA WAS TRULY A BLESSING TO BE APART OF. So grateful i was there and being able to play with my twin across the states on the beta
Your average android device would just simply explode if the Aviary was still there. I assume TGC removed all the cool looking stuff just to have the game run on less powerful devices, and then get more players...
@Meiko Megurine Iphone is known to have a better implementation of hardware (On their devices) than android, that's a reason why many "quality" games come to Iphone first. On the other hand, Android has more control in the market for mobile devices (More than 70%) than the contrary (20% or less). So my guess was that TGC saw a good opportunity in bringing the game to Android (Enlarging the playerbase to a world-wide spectrum (Getting more western players)). But, the game was already updated to work correctly (Smoothly) "on your average Iphone device". So they had to delete certain things to at least make the game run "on your average android device". PD: I use a Huawei P40 to play sky, and the game runs like dog**** ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

I live in South America so it's more common for me to see cheaper android phones being used everywhere, those in which it's only playable Free Fire. So I think my view of Android phones was limited to only those, thinking only a small portion of people bought phones capable of running sky at 30 or 60 (Unlikely). I see now that I was in the wrong in thinking that Android devices were underpowered, or were less capable than Iphones (iOS). When in reality they are on par in terms of hardware. PD: I think my P40 runs sky poorly because the storage is kind of full ლ(^o^ლ)
Timestamps for Elder Cutscenes, how different they are from the final release, and analysis (because I want to) - 11:00 Dawn Elder cutscene is longer here, the extended bit is him giving you the wing and a few extra interactions. - 1:02:40 Prairie cutscene is unchanged aside from a different background. This man is just perfect in every way - 1:44:45 Forest Elder is significantly less cool in the beta, their cutscene in general is different but does explain what the prism they had was for, which is the open the exit door. - 2:05:20 The Twins’ cutscene for the Valley (Mountain in the Beta). Everything here is different, especially the music. Child is also very expressive here. The competitive nature of these Elders is not fully realized like in the final, but it should be noted that the Twins do not glow in the Final game, unlike every other Elder when given light. This trait is shared with the Vault elder, who does not glow in Beta or in the final game as far as I can tell. - 2:39:20 Wasteland Elder’s cutscene is mostly changed and was going to be hosted right outside his temple, where the scene would then be followed by the Krill/Dark Dragons arriving. Main difference is that the Elder does not collapse upon dropping down, and his main purpose is to open the temple. Note that his shrine is broken after the cutscene takes place, but intact before the cutscene. - 3:10:20 Vault Elder cutscene is changed just enough, they don’t give you the light prism and all the murals have different art. Overall, the cutscene changes are better in the final and they are in Beta, although the implication that things going on in the the other world (where you go when you pray at the shrines) have an affect on the real world is less defined in the final game and only truly shown with the Prairie Elder cutscene. The Beta versions of the Forest and Wasteland scenes show the Elders interacting with things on their side to open doors in the player’s side, which feels off somehow with those parts being gone. I’m very glad they changed the Valley scene entirely, that was just a bit too nuts.
They have to, the game was too laggy even for me, it crashes especially going through some scenes, avairy would at least been better to be back again but that might heat up some devices

Ngl, i know this was the developmental/beta version of the game we have today, but if they were to go back to it and polish it up a bit, it would [probably] be a good prequel or standalone storymode version of Sky.
I think they made the final product more distinct from their previous game- I see so many similarities in the world building here as is in Journey. Would still love to explore this, but ultimately, they made it more unique, replaced things that would make the two way too alike. If you haven't, play The Journey, you'll know what I mean, and you'll maybe get some of the features this version has that the final doesn't.

The entire game was simplified so that y’all phones wouldn’t literally set on fire. Be thankful! I’d rather have a beautiful, yet imperfect game that runs on anything, than a perfect game only available on Switch. The Nintendo costs 200+ dollars for gods sake!!

@@torobirb *phones that can handle sky which are few and far between, even my fairly new phone has trouble with sky cotl occasionally- without the parts in beta which made it hard to run. i think what they meant was that a game with such graphics like the sky beta has would only be able to run on the switch coz phones cant handle it as well. i agree with them, having a laggy multiplayer game really sucks.
1:05:21 They kept this area in OOB at the end of the Daylight Prairie (Probably as an easter egg). It's really easy to go to when you have enough winged lights. Just fly up from any of the windows above and then you'll get there, don't go too close to the middle part or you will get teleported to the Forest
Old sky was more filmic and like solo adventure , but now all changed to open vibrant , easy understand theme. Both are unique , but it was good if they didn’t had changed AVIARY or beginning😅❤

Got to play the original game before Season of Revivals. I joined in the in between bit. I was so confused because I didn't know there were seasons or events. No one told me. I got an AD on RUclips and thought it would be relaxing to play. It didn't advertise seasons or events.. Nahda. Still I was dumb and didn't get any of the item that were there.. Avary Village has changed drastically since it's introduction..

I think they changed it because not all phones can run it smoothly. Or maybe they changed it to look more Unique and old place because of the back story of the game.
Nah I think they changed it because the first area was too linear and it doesn't go well with Sky's open ended nature.
It would be so lovely if they added the old starter area back into sky either for a season place or just another area to explore 💕

Look up reality shifting. Yes, its real, and yes you can use reality shifting to go to teh world of sky. :)

The entire game was simplified so that y’all phones wouldn’t literally set on fire. Be thankful! I’d rather have a beautiful, yet imperfect game that runs on anything, than a perfect game only available on Switch. The Nintendo costs 200+ dollars for gods sake!!
@@kaleycooper9111 the game was first available on iPhones (or any apple device and a tiny tiny bit on some androids), what switch are you talking about? this game came out on switch ONLY in June 2021, less than a year ago
@@torobirb *phones that can handle sky which are few and far between, even my fairly new phone has trouble with sky cotl occasionally- without the parts in beta which made it hard to run. i think what they meant was that a game with such graphics like the sky beta has would only be able to run on the switch coz phones cant handle it as well. i agree with them, having a laggy multiplayer game really sucks.

1:05:21 They kept this area in OOB at the end of the Daylight Prairie (Probably as an easter egg). It's really easy to go to when you have enough winged lights. Just fly up from any of the windows above and then you'll get there, don't go too close to the middle part or you will get teleported to the Forest

Old sky was more filmic and like solo adventure , but now all changed to open vibrant , easy understand theme. Both are unique , but it was good if they didn’t had changed AVIARY or beginning😅❤

If it were console only MAYBE, but numerous devices couldn’t handle it. I wish they’d make an offline version exclusive to one device and flesh it out like this. 😢

Right?? I'd like the default capes more if they had that cool eastern looking pattern lol. Nowadays mobile devices are stronger, so they should be able to handle the extra detail, back then they kinda sucked so it was deleted

The fact that the graphics are way better than what we have now is just sad. Mind you, i play on a newer ipad and it's still not this good
You can feel it from the settings.
It was reduced in quality so it could be run on various devices. That said, I prefer this version too and often wish it had stuck to being exclusive to like PlayStation as Journey was.

imo, the old ver of Sky is more beautiful and variety in some way than the present ver. Like now, the actions are not as much as b4 but repeated (like the elders cutscenes and the way Sky kids act through cutscenes, etc.)
