The rest of it is largely up to us to fill with our own stories and headcanons, and customization options really help with that kind of creative expression. I adore this playerbase for those exact reasons. You get to see a different take on Sky through a new lens every day.

I once met a very fashionable stranger who turned out to be a rude, argumentative, and overbearing person. No amount of fancy capes and masks can cover up a bad friend. The cosmetics are just that: a dress up game to help you express yourself through clothing. But by no means is that a necessity for making friends and enjoying the world of Sky. I hope you can find the fun in it again soon. :,)
For me it's not my first mask but rather my first pendant... you'll pretty much never see me without my Remembrance pendant, at least not for more than a few minutes until I can't take it anymore and have to go put it back on, and I've almost never taken it off since I was a brand new moth.
For me it's the second butterfly admirer cape, but I wear my other capes too sometimes. I remember being so jealous that other people had orange-y capes and I didn't, so I got it the moment I could after finishing Eden.

Recently I found out that you can collect 18-19 candles easily from only 3 locations. • you start from candle boost area (regular it's 8-10 candles from this one location if you collect ALL POSSIBLE WAX, and 11 candles if you was lucky and there's also a black shard, and geyser or grandma) • next location is whatever location with your daily tasks (about 4-6 candles from here) • and finish with all 4 trials included all wax from dawn island (it will be 2-4 candles) It's quite easier than whole candle run through all locations. Especially when you learn all shortcuts from all trials
I'm assuming you're talking about the time between seasons? It's much easier to get any grinding done during that time, yeah, shame it's so short though.
I like that his head looks exactly the same as the model in the game. While he returned as a ts, I accidentally turned the camera to the “right angle” and almost died of laughter

The parts where the speedrun grinded to a halt at the eight player room and the wait for the ts were way too real hahahaha... 🥲 I expected the sassy mask to be retired so I was surprised at the end, but the ending was still really sweet! 💙

I was a moth in season of passage. Looked up which cosmetics I wanted, made a little list, made peace with the fact that it may take many years to get the ones I wanted, especially since some (like the Cannoneer) hadn't even returned yet, all of that...... and then EVERYone I wanted to appear just kind of appeared. One right after another after another. It is an absolute blessing... but my body isn't blessing me, because I have had to run around like a madman candle running ever since I was a moth! Also, I loved the part where you tore the mask off of the bird man. Good to know someone else thinks about his funny shaped head lol

I still love Sky as much as I did a year and a half ago. But sometimes it becomes tedious and tiring. Sometimes I just want to sleep by the bonfire in the Hidden Forest.
Candle running used to be so stressful for me but now that I have gotten the hang of it, I can comfortably grind for 20 candles everyday which takes me around 3-4 hours. Though I do feel kinda restless afterwards cause i don't really have that many cosmetics to just play around with. Hopefully this will get solved by the time Days of Mischief rolls around

After playing sky for 2 years i've only recently finished collecting all the cosmetics i've wanted since i was a moth (the gloating narcissist pants and fox mask were the last 2 items i had been waiting on), i'm now satisfied with the cosmetics i have and now only care for collecting emote levels

After playing sky for 2 years i've only recently finished collecting all the cosmetics i've wanted since i was a moth (the gloating narcissist pants and fox mask were the last 2 items i had been waiting on), i'm now satisfied with the cosmetics i have and now only care for collecting emote levels
that ending perfectly illustrating how I can just hyperfixate on a certain cosmetic for ages and even after I get it I just gravitate back to the ones I'd grown used to
