when I was a moth, I didn’t know what was ahead but still knew what to do just by looking at what was going on up ahead. I was even acting like a professional just by example of what I would want others to do for me. Someone got hit off by the flying rocks? I’m sacrificing 10000 winged light for their ass. Someone got caught by the krill in a bad location? Yoo-hoo, over here you big flying mutated lizard! They get hit by the red rain and can’t get up in time? You aren’t you when you’re hungry. Have a snickers. They need time to recharge for the next part? My candle is rated E for everyone. I’m making sure they get all those ascended candles by the end. No matter what.
As a person who adopts a lot of moths i’ve slowly realized that if you uber your moths through every realm and do everything for them, they wont have the skills to get through eden and will start relying on you, you see, in each realm you learn how to fly, control their character and even skate. If you do everything for them your moth basically has no chance of getting through eden, so my advice is, don’t do everything for your moths 😅 Maybe let them relieve spirits themselves or wonder around a bit every once in a while. LOL
i've been playing for two weeks now and thb i have to agree. i'm almost always on my own because i want to learn everything myself. the first time in eden though, i had absolutely no idea what was coming up and what i'm supposed to do there, i was adopted along the way and i was so happy about it. i wouldn't have even made the climb on my own 😅 today i was in eden for the second time and i fought my way through on my own. but i love how supportive everyone is. got some help to find hidden locations or to quickly collect the wings after eden. such a cute little game and loving community ✨
In season of assembly I was adopted in prairie by a veteran who has a ton of items. They took me through all of the realms and got me all the wl, helped me complete the season quests, etc. they then took me to Eden and went through the whole rebirth thing. Some people might say it ruins the experience but not only did I make a new friend that week, but I also learned the basics of what the pros do like cr and stuff eventually doing it on my own.
The spinning at 4:05 happened to me in one of my first eden runs and my friend recorded it and put “you spin me right round baby right round like a record baby” over it 😂
I did my entire first run through the game and died without encountering a single person. I made it a very small amount into Eden before dying and having no clue it was even a very social game. Got a big shock when I came back to the game almost a year later recently.

@@vogeline_ Well, recently things are pretty bad to me, my wifi is great and so is the notebook. But specially when I'm playing the steam version, if i don't have anyone 24 hours with me, I'm kicked to a empty server ans everything get so slow. And I can't find anyone until reopening the game
Even thought is wonderful to be able to help your Moths you need to give them space to make progress by their own. If you always play the game for them they will never learn. Sometimes I release their hands so they can go exploring by their own, if they ask for help you lend a hand, but if they don't let them. They're like real children, obviously you want to protect them, but instead of doing everything for them you need to train them and teach them how to do it right
a vet took me through eden basically to the end, it was great. they didnt talk but were very nice. i did research beforehand so i knew i would die, but when i did the vet was still okay but couldn’t get to me in time. they stood next to me while the death sequence came on i was so sad i didnt friend them. hopefully i can become a vet too and guide moths through eden someday
I was reading about the final part because it scared me and saw it said not to go alone, so I’ve been delaying it since I cleared all the realms in January of this year. 😢 I’m sorry it was so scary alone. I hope you have friends to go with now. ❤
i agree, i do not have the skill for the eye of eden :( its too stressful and hard for me, i know you can win candles but you loose all of you progress, you cannot win good stuff unless you have bought all the passes
@@trashpandaRakuadventure passes only give you cosmetics?? They dont actually help with the game? None of the items you can purchase give you an adavantage (except for umbrella, but theres a free one and umbrella is unnecessary anyway). They mostly just make u look cool
i used to help moths in eden...but nowadays that's not even funny cause i'm way too good at flying in eden... So if I try to help some moth I'll kind of totally ruin their moment (taking them to the end in seconds)... So instead I just follow them to the top, lighting them up when needed and collecting the lights they drop. 💀
I had a vet take me through Eden all the way to the point of no return via shortcuts and I finished the rest by myself. It was my first time doing it so it was pretty intense especially since there literally was no one else there but me. I knew what was gonna happen, but it did genuinely make me think about how alone my little sky child was. Now, I feel ready to do it again, now with my fellow moth friend who is gonna do it for the first time. :D

Another moth here! I started playing a couple days ago and finished Eden two days ago! I did it with two other (assumed) moths and I legit thought for a good while that I failed Eden and had to reattempt it. Turns out I did it just right lol Like, I thought there was some destination we were meant to reach and if we didn’t help enough statues we wouldn’t be let in and that was the challenge ya know? Having to gradually give away what’s keeping you alive in an environment where you have to be at the top of your game to survive Well, at the very beginning I didn’t even realise we were dying. I was the second of the three to die and I legit didn’t realise one of us had died, I thought they just went ahead of us and I only realised later when I died that the cute blue light that started following me was them Also can I just say how fun it is that despite being unable to talk to each other with words (for the most part, I don’t really care for the tables and chairs and really don’t have the candles to spare to unlock it with people. I want cute accessories not verbal communication, thanks. The Squeaking works fine.) I figured out the social cues within the first day of playing. I had a whole side quest of finding the bowing emote because I’d missed it and wanted to be able to greet people properly Ps. I will do Eden again at some point but I want to be less unprepared next time. I went in there with thirty two wings and gave away twenty something. It was a massacre 😅

He held my hand and guided me through while trying to explain to me what each part was, in Japanese.... (so there was interval time for me to hit translate, I was on mobile.) When he said, give wings to stone children ok? I didn't get it but was like sure let's go. AND HE LET GO OF MY HAND because we should not hold hands through that part. At one point he was like it's ok to die here. And I went ??????????? what?????? Then he said even if you die here it's gonna clear and I did not understand and just YOLO-ed till my last breath. When we were done flying through the last part he was so proud. The power of trauma bonding is very strong. Honestly how you guys went into Eden without chat was crazy. Moth would be so clueless and so scared. I wanted to chat with my vet so bad I spent my candles on him. I'm so glad I met this person, genuinely kind and patient. Props to all vets who guide young moths and watch them grow.

Poor moths panic in Eden. I knew they were the same creators of the game Journey so I figured dying and being reborn at the end was the same. I still tried my hardest to get all the statues though.
Just the day before yesterday a player dragged me through the forest and I didn't know what to do (but watching them helped a lot), and this morning I beat the eye of eden almost alone (I had help restoring the light at the tower) and no shortcuts. I watched people fly through eden and decided I didn't want to do it, but rather walk slowly on the ground. It wasn't actually hard, but it was long, as I thought out any moves while sitting behind rocks, but I didn't get hit by a single rock until the point of no return. Watching the shrimp in the wasteland also took time, but I overcame them in 3 jumps, almost jumping on one's back. I thought the faster players (clearly more advanced) had some sort of strategy until I saw them get hit by rocks. That's partly why I was alone, I was going very slowly and cautiously
Although, maybe Eden isn't scary to me because I spend hours playing Rain World and there's a Rubicon, but the atmosphere of Eden is closer to Howling Rift. A sluggish shrimp is no match for a flock of beak-snapping, wingless birds with burning eyes, rushing at the speed of a train to tear you to shreds.
I tried gling through Eden on mh own at first until some vets saved me when it was the red diamond they tried to let me go but i was too scared and asked for help. Ended up having a lot of fun talking with them though! Even though my "immersion" experience was ruined it didnt make it any less fun
Same. That’s what took me so long to get there. 😢 It’s better to go in groups and I heard horror stories of “vets” leading moths to get krilled on the way there.

I always lead moths it’s so fun, I take them by hand just getting them through the door and then I let go, honk honk and make them follow me. That way it’s more like moral support and guidance rather than actually doing it all for them! (I once saw a moth come in with 5 winged light ;-;)

And when you had to give out your winged light, I just stood there dumbfounded. I kept typing in chat confused on why they wanted me to die. Once I finally did die (luckily this was way before the update where you literally fall once you loose light) I was directed by one of my friends to a very experienced player, and I asked them a dump load of questions. I can now say I know how to conquer the Eye of Eden.
This is why I let the moth guide me instead of me guiding them. They need to learn what to do so they are prepared for Eden! I love helping them when they need it like in Eden and they lose winged light but if they solely rely on me they will be very confused on how to play. :)
I once tried to keep a moth safe in the second phase of Eden by flying trough the clouds...and...it didn't ended up well...we fell in front of a Krill and fell form the map. I think the moth didn't know that we could use the stone at home to return and did it al form 0...Im sorry, now Im traumatized in helping moths... TT
Don't be afraid. A moth asked for my help in gw and they took my hand and went into krills sight but luckily I left the moths hand and the krill targeted the moth but I help them. Then when we were relieving spirits a krill came but the moth was safe for a while because they were in the cut scene but as it ended they got attacked by the krill and I help them after. The thing what surprised me was that they didn't log off of run away, it was a brave moth
Bruh I have to figure this out all by my self and I was determined that when I finish helping all the soul I will defeat the game 💀 I had to die 3 times until I found out a bug that help you get out of eden and have not to die. Ofc u still have your wings remain and explore maps normally

You have to unlock the wingbuffs from spirits in constellation if you want more wings when you rebirth Sources: normal constellation spirits, seasonal spirits/ travelling spirits
I also had that many stars before my first time going to Eden. I procrastinated on going to Eden and just watched YT videos on where to find all the winged lights 😂

I already quit Sky. It was too stressful for me. I beat the Eye Of Eden, but by then, I didn’t realise my progress was done.
You get back your progress and gain more every time you go! Like an idle reset game. I understand if it was too stressful though

When I was new in this game I rarely visited eden due to the fear of krills n red stones but now eden is the only place I love .. to visit ..

I once tried to keep a moth safe in the second phase of Eden by flying trough the clouds...and...it didn't ended up well...we fell in front of a Krill and fell form the map. I think the moth didn't know that we could use the stone at home to return and did it al form 0...Im sorry, now Im traumatized in helping moths... TT
Don't be afraid. A moth asked for my help in gw and they took my hand and went into krills sight but luckily I left the moths hand and the krill targeted the moth but I help them. Then when we were relieving spirits a krill came but the moth was safe for a while because they were in the cut scene but as it ended they got attacked by the krill and I help them after. The thing what surprised me was that they didn't log off of run away, it was a brave moth
Bruh I have to figure this out all by my self and I was determined that when I finish helping all the soul I will defeat the game 💀 I had to die 3 times until I found out a bug that help you get out of eden and have not to die. Ofc u still have your wings remain and explore maps normally

Im searching for someone to adopt me I'm so scared of Eden im still so thankfull for the person who rescued me in golden wastelands otherwise i would've died there already
Edit: someone guided me trough wastelands and know I finally can go through it alone I even got the graveyard spirit on my own (second try after I got surprised by a krill flying trough that cave and it gave me a heart attack)

Maybe you should try and skip the entire part by flying and using glitches to get into the cave, its much easier and u dont loose wl

I had to help 2 friends through Eden because I was scared they'd lose winged light and get less ascended candles for more spells more friend interactions and other.
But I didn't help them at the dying part

Me, a moth, has never done Eden the correct way.My vet friends just take every short cut possible(except for OOB) so the hardest part is always the giving loght

You have to unlock the wingbuffs from spirits in constellation if you want more wings when you rebirth
Sources: normal constellation spirits, seasonal spirits/ travelling spirits
