Good listening and my best to you, Moppet p.s. if you like slow songs by the Dillard, Jody's Tune is nice, but they don't sing. It's a different feel song than this. The 1930 Carter Family recording with A. P. Carter solo is definitely THE version of "The Cannonball". Incredible guitar by Maybelle and Sara shows how the autoharp is properly played. Hard to top the original Carter Family!
@MyMoppet52 i havent heard all that much from the dillards as this kinda music isnt popular in Scotland , just the odd tune on internet radio stations, but they seem to have had a wonderful sound.
