That's is being a story line is encouraging to those of who served and not respect for our service was given. Now though, older Americans and some younger folks actually born after 9/11 truly are thanking for our service. It's refreshing. Thevothers that are just paying lip service, I hope you actually don't learn the hard way that you are kept free by those of us, both prior service and surrrent service members have kept this country and others free, truly free to follow their own countries' fight to allow them to make their own decisions. My opinion. Thank you all Veterans, current members, and civilian first responders.

Your service, and that of all those who have worn the uniform, truly deserves our respect and thanks every day.

Military training saved my life. I am a Vietnam veteran and I retired from the navy in 1995. 2012 I was working sugar beet harvest getting off between 9:00 and 9:30 PM. On the way home I came up with a 10-wheel truck and I looked around it for oncoming traffic, seeing none I started to pass. As I got to the front tandem, in his lights I saw the hood ornament of another truck. Without thinking I used a maneuver I had been taught at boot camp in 1971 and never used in the navy. Hard left until coming to the course I wanted, hard right to stop the turn and then center the steering. I stopped 5 feet off the pavement and the oncoming truck went between me and the truck I was passing. The second truck didn’t have any lights on as far as I saw.
@ I got out of the car, walked to the back and paced from the back bumper to the pavement. Got back in the car and backed onto the road and drove home. I don’t remember an adrenaline dump, maybe because I was looking for problems before I started around the first truck. Maybe because I have had so much combat.

It reminds me after being in the marine corps. Ordering a coffee and a couple guys told me to hurry up. Well I put both down less than a minute. And just walked out. To many bullies out there.
I once drove a bike gang of Marine Vietnam combat veterans out of their house across the street from my first home. The Free Wheelers they called themselves. There was never more than 10 or 12 of them. But they terrorized the neighbors and were driving down the value of my house. I bought my first 3 guns the night it began and because I took a Los Angeles Deputy DA to the gun store owned by a LAPD officer walked out with them instead of waiting 2 weeks, or whatever it was in California in 1976. I got a Bicentennial Mini 14 in that first batch. For the record I did not join the military because God gave me the winning number in the 1970 Draft Lottery for good behavior and being born on November 1, 1952. Plus as an American it bothered me that we would fight a war on the side of the colonial power trying to keep a colony and its wealth for the colonists . Call me old fashioned. I was a Republican by the way and later was involved in the Contra War and afterwards had Wyclif Diego as an employee at my shrimp processing operation in Puerto Cabezas. I am so dump I blocked the street in front if my home with my body to stop a biker from going 70 or 80 up and down it last year. After the yelling died down he apologized and never did it again. Afterwards I was thinking “ what an idiot, I’m in my 70’s now”. He waves when he putts by occasionally.
My 84 year old veteran husband shed tears over this. What our VietNam Vets went through was even worse. It was hard to jut get a job, and men had to hide their military service. That was the 70s, and it was the only time I was ever ashamed of my country. I was so proud to be the wife of an officer and the sister of another. I have sons who have served since. When you treat a veteran badly, you treat an entire family badly. It’s disgusting. James, we know your value and we are grateful for your service. We are fortunate to learn of you and proud of your demeanor and your expertise. We are proud of your service and we care deeply about you and all who serve. Than you.
I was a Viet Nam aviator, trained by a Korean Master Sgt on martial arts. Mostly serious self defense on how to immediately immobilize an opponent, therefore, i choose not to fight unless absolutely necessary.
I lost my husband in 2006, he died from cancer caused by his exposure to many harmful chemicals on his job. He worked designing and building Defensive weapons to protect America. He worked very hard, he earned 3 college degrees and devoted 43 years to protecting our country. He wanted our military to have the very best weapons. He battled the cancer for 2 years and 5 months and worked 4 days during the work week, took chemo during 1 entire day and worked every Saturday and Sunday. He put in 12 hours every day he worked working on something top secret and very important that he wanted to complete before he died. When 9/11 happened he was in a meeting being held in a SCIF with Generals,Admirals and the Secretary of Defense. He wasn’t allowed to take a cell phone in the plant but he wore a pager. We had a signal if I double paged him, it was an emergency and he needed to call me. He stopped the meeting came out found a phone and called me and said what’s wrong, I told him we were under attack. I repeated the page when the second building was hit and I said the Pentagon had been hit. All of the important men from DC came out to find phones to try and get ahold of others in the Pentagon and tried to get flights back but as you know all flights were shut down. After that I hardly ever saw him, all he did was work then in 5 years time he was gone.
James’s calm and disciplined response to those bikers was incredible. True strength is in control, not aggression. What did you all think about the way he handled things?
I'm a retired Marine and biker. I believe both Marines and bikers are mislabeled at times. Most bikers are decent people who just want to ride, just like Marines who don't want to be labeled as war mongers or baby killers.
That's a horrible thing to be labeled and I'm sorry on behalf of those that have done that to you and your fellow Marines. I recall, very vividly, our family being stationed at a now old radar site on Cape Cid, MA, back in the late 60s to early 70s. The airmen stationed there would march in the Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day parades dressed in their dress blues, at spit and polished. We were all so proud of our fathers. My memory comes from watching my father's anger and disgust, at the hippies in their long white gowns, flowers in their hair, sandal wearing persons, who interrupted their marching in these parades, to go over and blow smoke, which I didn't know what it was at the time and worse, to spit on them and their uniforms. My father and his fellow airmen, with red stoic faces, kept on marching, ordered to not engage the locals. Afterwards, meeting my father and his coworkers, who would be wiping spit from their faces and trying to clean off their uniforms and ribbons, made us all cry, not understanding why people would do this to our fathers? This was especially disheartening as my father spent two back to back tours in Viet Nam. My father earned a Bronze Star over there that we never saw the write up for until after he passed, never knowing he even had it. Because of his career field, he was unable to ever discuss the details of his job, although we frequently asked about him seeing UFOs which we'd be quickly told to not bring it up again. But even the award write up is so vaguely worded so as not to disclose the true meaning of his mission. Even my ex, working at DA, was not able to get the real details behind the mission, it being deemed classified. It's truly sad we overlook the sacrifices made of our service men and women, where the details can last a lifetime. Those spitting incidents after his return from Nam, hurt him more deeply than I can tell you. But you yourself know....Never let anyone who acts less than, take away from you. As a veteran, you'll always be a much more than. Thank you! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏
@@blondeblue156 I thank you for sharing your thoughts and support. I salute your father and will always have the highest respect from me and my fellow brothers and bikers..

My Dad was a WW2 veteran. Growing up I didn’t realize that he had been a war hero because he never spoke of it. When I would date hometown boys they always had me home on time and had such respect for my Dad. I asked my boyfriend at the time what’s the deal and he said his Dad told him stories about my Dads service record and the respect everyone had for my Dad. When he was dying of lung cancer I asked him why he never talked about WW2 and I had to hear things from other people and these were his words, You never brag about taking others lives because he said he carried each one in his heart. He apparently saved his whole platoon in France. He met my Mom in Austria and married her before he came stateside. Many years later I was told he saved my Opapa ( grandfather) from a concentration camp not knowing then who he was. The last thing he said to me before he died was live your life with no regrets and I’m 72 now and I have tried to live with those words. I appreciate every soldier including my son who has fought for our freedom 💕💕💕
@debraernst3628 Respect! One of my Grandfather's fought the German's at the Battle of the Bulge. Escaped only after he hid under the bodies of 3 of his buddies as the enemy overran them and were either shooting or bayonetting anyone in a foxhole. My Dad was in Vietnam and I fought in the invasion of Panama. Long tradition, but I know why your Father did not speak of his time in Hell. I feel that way every time a civilian asks if I ever shot/killed anyone. I close off.
@ My Dad didn’t ever talk about killing people either. He was WW2 and was among the soldiers that helped free people from the concentration camps. At the time he didn’t realize he helped free my Opapa ( grandfather). He met my Mother in Austria and married her before he came back stateside. Those were the kind of stories he told us. One story was that he and the soldiers he was with were so hungry, they saw an elk and killed it. Dragged it to a farmers house and the farmer helped them skin it and all my Dad wanted was a meal and the elk horns. He carried those horns on his back for the remainder of the war and brought them home. They hung in our family room until I was about 42 and I asked him where he killed a deer with horns that big and that’s when he told us the story. My husband was in Vietnam and he never ever talked about it. So he understand how you feel. Thank you for your service because you guys did not get a warm welcome when you came home but I was a teenager and didn’t understand much of what was going on. I just remember when the news came on and talked and showed news reels about Vietnam my Dad would turn the tv off. From all the boys in my small town that came home my Dad visited each one to welcome them back but I was so young and naive about the whole thing until I got older
THESE soldiers fight for our freedom he handle himself very well not throwing a punch when you disrespect a flag you disrespect someone that fought for my freedom I am proud to be an American so please show respect that one that fought for you & God Bless all Soldiers A real hero doesn’t deserve disrespect So when you see someone that may have a hat that what war they served in please tell them for their service and show them the respect they deserve
I'm a Navy veteran as well as a long time Harley rider. I have belonged to the Harley Owners Group (HOG) for about 20 years. HOG is full of Vets and honors them whenever possible. The next time you see a biker with a vest on, check for military patches. More than likely, you will see patches from every branch of the military. Trying to remove our flag or unit patch is a bad idea no matter how big the wearer is. We earned the right to display those patches. I have the deepest respect for the soldier in this story, thank you for your service.
My Father served in the U.S. Army, EOD during the Korean Conflict. I have the utmost love, and respect for ALL of our military active duty, reserves, and veterans. That is extended to our Law Enforcement Officers, Emergency Medical Services, and Fire department personnel. Without them, we would not have the country that we have today. Thank you. I was a British soldier in uniform at a bus station, sat down on a bench waiting for a bus, just finished a combat tour in Northern Ireland. Exactly the same scenario, said "look what we have here a tough war hero soldier boy from Northern Ireland". Grabbed my beret off my head, took a swing at me but I caught his arms, told him drop the beret. Tried to knee me in the balls, he missed. He was close, he took a full head-butt on the nose it split wide open. Not what I wanted to do but he gave me now choice.

What a wonderful story! My complete honor to our military 🙏❤️
God Bless man like You & Thank You for your service to are country

Moral of the story line, DON'T MESS WITH THE MILITARY!
Awesome story 👏👏.
My admiration and thanks to all veterans and current serving military 🤗.
RIP to all who lost their lives serving their country 💔✝️
Most bikers do not mess with soldiers, because alot of them are veterans.
My grandfather served in two wars for us so yes I respect military personnel and he had a Purple Heart and medal of honor medal
Jesus Christ, please bless this soldier for all he has done for this country. Don’t let anyone else bully him, please ,
Thank you soliders for your service 🙏🏼 🌺🌺🌺🌺

I totally agree!! My son is a Vet and rides a loud Harley but has a heart of gold!
AaaaaëaaaZZZz
after 28 years as a texas cop there are biker gangs that are evil
@@terriunderwoodmeredith2452I totally agree
My dad was a Vietnam vet, '64-'72.
Than you.
Same in Australia.
I was a Viet Nam aviator, trained by a Korean Master Sgt on martial arts.
Mostly serious self defense on how to immediately immobilize an opponent, therefore, i choose not to fight unless absolutely necessary.
Thank you for sharing
True American people love our military officers and veterans
I love this.....I lost my husband....he was in military.....he passed away in the hospital.....passed away on 1-20-2024
I'm sorry for your loss .
May he rest in peace sorry for your loss
Sorry to hear that, you had a wonderful husband that want to fight to save his country. ❤
So very sorry for your loss.🙏🏻🇺🇸
God bless are military and there families. 💕🙏🇺🇸
James’s calm and disciplined response to those bikers was incredible. True strength is in control, not aggression. What did you all think about the way he handled things?
Payback quietly😊 hugs guys!

We have our freedom thanks to all these soldiers, sailor, and airmen across the world that we have freedom. Let's keep fighting for it.
Coming from a old school military Veteran of Vietnam was a Security Specialist USAF and lives in Texas 🇨🇱 you don't think you can attack Veterans and get away with it.
Thank you for your service. Thank you to your family for keeping the home fires burning. My dad was in Vietnam from 1966-1968. He came home with everything still attached. 💙
This was a great story. Too bad the video wasn’t posted , thanks for sharing too!
Not accurate
Wonderful. Thanks to all who have served in any military branch , Police , FireFighters and all other first responders.
Such a great post! Thank you for sharing it! Support our troops! ❤
I am a 4 yr Airforce Vietnam War Vet I also ride a Harley-Davidson and have ridden since my discharge. I'm a retired VP 38 yrs. of a major Corp. This story is great for our soldiers our flag our Patriotism, but its FICTION.…bikers love our Military, most bikers are Vets or Active! The Hells Angels began as a group of WWII pilots who kept military brotherhood going on motorcycles. BIKERS ARE NOT BAD! We do Toy runs for children at Christmas, we help homeless Vets, we help abused children, we have Christian bike clubs, we visit senior homes take seniors for short rides to fill in a Bucket list! More of us Bikers do Good and Love God and America the Rule of Law and LIFE!!!
Thank you United States Militarily😊❤
Proff that you don't disrespect your country and those who serve...SPECIAL FORCES equals your gonna get your ass kicked!!! MUCH LOVE FROM CANADA
Thank you Soldiers and your families for your service and your sacrifice so that I could raise my children in freedom.
Vietnam Vet, whooya!!!!!
True hero! God bless
Its nice to be appreciated, especially after the cold, prejudiced way we were treated after Vietnam.

It's horrible the way they did y'all. Our government makes me sick and I hope Trump does something about it
He was a staff sargent by the officer and clerk referred to him as sargent!😢
My Father served in the U.S. Army, EOD during the Korean Conflict. I have the utmost love, and respect for ALL of our military active duty, reserves, and veterans. That is extended to our Law Enforcement Officers, Emergency Medical Services, and Fire department personnel. Without them, we would not have the country that we have today. Thank you. God Bless You All.
my father was in Korea , sgt. 2nd infantry div. He was there when they had the ceasefire. He would always remind on the date they stopped fighting
Loved this story, The AMERICAN SOLDIER needs all the respect they can receive. I was proud to have served in Viet Nam.
