I personally feel the hook and lateral by Boise State against Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, to tie it up with no time left, was really impressive. Followed by the Statue of Liberty play in overtime... great trick plays. Really memorable game to watch.
Agreed.
And then the dude proposed, I remember watching that
Agreed. 💯 Great Game. Glad Boise State Won Too.
That was a great game, and the ending you describe was extraordinary.
one of the greatest games to watch
I don’t even play football but those are great baskets
Lol same
Lollllll
@Xd Blizzard 🤣🤣🤣🤣
XD idiot
not even basketball
What’s crazy is when the Steelers did the fake spike, the cowboys somehow managed to get All the way down the field and won. Definitively one of the best regular season games of all time.
As a Colts fan, I can verify that onside-kick by the Saints changed the entire flow of that game. It was never going to be one-sided, but the Colts were in the driver's seat at halftime. When the Saints recovered that kick, we never recovered.
Technically, and according to the video, the colts got the ball and were on the ground with possession. According to the rules he was down and in possession when touched by an opposing player. It was stripped after he was down.
Just an unbiased opinion from a fan of neither team.
Apparently replay does not count on on-side kicks.
Whenever i see that play, I just remember Pat McAfee's solo onside kick vs. the Texans that one time.
@@JoeGator23 Nah...the Colts never established possession. A Saint had his hnad around the ball the same time the Colt player jumped on it...then a Saint dove in and broke it up
@@joemarshall4226 I think colts #81 had both hands on the ball and was touched, therefore down. After that he was mugged because he never pulled the ball to his body.
@@JoeGator23 Having both hands on the ball is not enough to claim possession.
That Jets play at the end is legendary. One of the most unexpected plays in NFL history.
It didn't really work out though did it?
Ass-tronomically hilarious!!!
@@watching99134 No shitttt

I liked the one where they did the thing and then scored. Great moment.
+Matt I WBA
I also found that one entertaining. And how about that player wearing the helmet? What incredible talent.
BassGuitarGuy128 I liked the one where they tricked the defence. The guy with the jersey played a huge part imo
BassGuitarGuy128 I know right? And that other one where that guy had the ball? I've never seen anything like it in my life.
+BassGuitarGuy128 +SkillzTV The one where that guy ran, and then people were excited. Unforgettable. Immortal, really. Changed my life.
No, I liked when they wore these big things inside their big shirts. But what is that thing, metal to hurt them??
Moss pitching it behind him as he was tackled was my favourite, I remember watching that live and jumping off the couch
Lineman 75 for the Minn. Holding.
@@btqy cry
It's not a trick play though. That was just an ad lib on a broken play. A trick play is drawn up in the huddle.
Honestly wondering why the Bosie State Broncos aren't on this. They used so many trick plays to such a deadly degree to win some big games. For example vs Oklahoma the hook and ladder as well as one of the most beautiful statue of liberty plays of all time.
I agree. They were the Harlem Globetrotters of the NCAA for several years
Also were great players
The hook and ladder is the true amazing play. It NEVER worked in a decade of practice.
That Boise/Oklahoma game was the greatest game I gave seen, tied with the Bills/Chiefs playoff game
@@WhydoIsuddenlyhaveahandle I truly is I rank it up there with the Okahaloma/Texas Tech 2007 game.
2:38 The things that needed to go right for this play to happen are insane. I just realized the guy who ends up catching the ball had to run all the way down the field to catch the ball, then run all the way up to score. Insane stamina
no
Wide receivers did great being active and actually acting
Ran like 120 yards lol!
@@lastmanstandingfan4267 what a well thought out anwser. I'm baffled like how did you understand the complex philosophy needed to bring such raw mental power to bear
Ikr that was so clever
ends with the butt fumble, lol
"And it was the backside of Brandon Moore..." You can practically hear him want to start laughing in disbelief!
goodkill1 RIP Sanchez. he was never seen again...
still got him with the tricks
i was at the butt fumble game, ..whole crowd was laughing
goodkill1 You are a fat poop head
Morstead (former Saints kicker who nailed the onside kick to open the 2nd half of the super bowl against the colts) played college ball at SMU, my alma mater. Used to see him on the practice field kicking balls into trash cans from the opposite endzone
Thanks! Those were really fun!
My favorites, though, would be the playing like the punt was to the left, and the real guy receiving it is all the way on the other side of the field. I still can't believe that worked! :). Just beautiful.
And the other favorite was the "camouflaged" receiver in the end zone, lying down the turf which was of course same color as his uni. Another beautiful idea. Just wicked!
06:00 that guy took a real hard hit to protect his team mate wow

Hey Andrew King
Yeah, I totally loved that one! I mean, who would even think that up in the first place? HAHA! :)
Coach Jeff Fisher of the Rams was very inventive with trick plays (such as 2:33 ) and stung my Seahawks a few times: In one game Rams had two successful fake punts, the second of which was from their own end zone!
I love how the kicker bobbled the pass but then got it under control and ran for a touchdown. Love that extra bit of drama and suspense there..
lmao

kindley fernand thank you
I dont understand why they have done that ? Lmao
i like the 2nd to last one where they use the personnel change to hide the receiver on the sideline. 10 people came onto the field and 10 left, but 11 went toward the sideline, pretty smart I wonder if you could even pull that off in the NFL without them noticing
Travis kelce, Darrel Williams both in their college days now playing for the chiefs. Both mentioned in this video. The KU player in the end zone and and Albert Wilson fake punt made my day as a person from KC
I swear to God when I started watching this I thought to myself "how funny would it be if they snuck the butt fumble in here"

Everyone has their opinion, but the Stanford-Cal kickoff touchdown run through the band was the greatest of all time. The butt-fumble certainly ranks up there, though.
On that last one Wisconsin Vs Michigan, Wisconsin’s Defense was so good that they even stopped that play from getting in the end zone!
We not gonna acknowledge my mans who camouflaged himself at 4:00

The LSU fake FG was a pretty amazing call imo. Watch the lineman @ 8:43 this precise play accounted for every person who could stop the Touchdown. Beautiful stuff
For me the Statue of Liberty play run by Boise State to win the 2007 Fiesta Bowl is the best trick play ever in the greatest game I've ever seen.
That was epic. Surprised they did not show it. Also, the proposal at the end.

Great stuff! Recently, Daniel Faalele, the 6'9", 380 lb. Left Tackle for Minnesota played RB from 2 yds out and bulled his way in for a TD in the Gophers 18-6 Bowl win over West Virginia. Can you say Refrigalele? Good luck in the pros, big guy!
I saw that and just was impressed lol it was amazing. The other guys prolly started crapping themselves 😂😂😂
I..I can't say that, actually.
Love this compilation. So frustrating when used in your favorite team though lol. First time watching your vids but I must say I like it
I think Boise St had three amazing trick plays in one game within 2 minutes against Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.
James Bowen idk if he counted bowl games, sence they dont matter
The Statue of Liberty play Boise State used to beat Oklahoma was the play that made coach Chris Petersen's reputation. No one expected a WAC team to beat Oklahoma. As a result, Chris Peterson is now at The University of Washington where his winning ways have continued and he is now the highest paid coach in the PAC 12. If you thing bowl games do not matter; you know little about college football.

Ending this with the butt fumble is the best decision you could have made. I laugh every time I watch it. Fantastic, all the way through. But that ending is a masterpiece of football.
I'm glad you included some college games. Man I LOVE sneaky, tricky plays... and you just NAILED IT!
The blocks at 5:55 were phenomenal. Props to those boys Laying them out.
The Super Bowl XL touchdown pass from Antwaan Randle-El to Hines Ward is a glaring omission.

You're missing the 1989 FSU @ Clemson Puntrooskie. Best trick play I've ever witnessed live.
Too bad that fake spike play didn't help the Steelers beat the Boys lol.
David Parkes interesting season, cowboys have a streak, someone on ESPN says Prescott looks like a young Tom Brady, and he loses to Eli and the Giants twice, oh the irony
PJxBuchwild By 1 & 3 points, what blowouts huh? Please, both times the Giants got EXTREMELY lucky.
David Parkes Did the cowboys beat Eli and the Giants during their two games, yes or no?
PJxBuchwild Well no but Giants fans act like y'all blew them out. The Giants just got EXTREMELY lucky both times.

Glad to see that the offside kick that the Saints made in the Super Bowl was one of the trick plays, we made history... enjoyed the LSU ones as well. Sadly the Saints wasn't in this years Super Bowl but I am happy for the Eagles beating the Patriots. The Eagles also had a trick play, when Nick Foles caught that pass for a touchdown... after Brady didn't catch his pass lol

Bravo! For years, mostly in the Sixties, I only watched the college games, never the pros. Reason: the guys in college (basketball has this too) play like they love the game and trick plays are the pinnacle of this behavior. Besides, even the guys in the booth can be fooled too. More, more, more!
The triple reverse with a pass at the end to a receiver all alone in the end zone in peewee football when I was ten, they humiliated us. I am still scarred and haunted by the memory!

Surprised you left out the greatest fake punt in NFL history, though. 1986 Week 6, MNF, Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati. Trailing in the 4th quarter, Bengals punter Jeff Hayes scored on a 61-yard fake punt, giving the Bengals a 24-22 win.
Tactics mean doing what you can with what you have.
11:25 looks like a Trojan-Horse play, which I thought was illegal.
steve b
No; that's what gave me pause to wonder.
It is illegal under rule 9-2-2-b:
"No simulated replacements or substitutions may be used to confuse opponents. No tactic
associated with substitutes or the substitution process may be used to confuse opponents"
I think that's arguable - they only line up with 10 players in the center of the field; can't tell from the video, but I think they did a full replacement of on-field players. That the defense didn't notice the 11th man is their mistake.
If I'm not mistaken, that game was before that rule went in to effect.
Amir Brooks also, the defense is now allowed time to substitute and set for an offensive sub.
did anyone notice that seattle was in like half of these 😂💀
