Except for being overly judgmental sometimes, or that too? Lol. I feel like I was Red Forman up until my first year of college when my sister’s crush told me I was too judgmental. When I took sociology later that year, I opened my mind more. I didn’t judge drug addicts, sex addicts, and modern dating as harshly as before. I was totally Red before. I thought drinking alcohol was completely stupid, having sex with lots of partners while single was super immature and stupid, I thought weed was for stupid people, i thought my teenage peers were so immature and annoying. I judged people for trying to look cool like Red made fun of Bob’s porn star look. I don’t see anything wrong with Bob’s fro like Red does. I love afro hair.
Come to find out, I was immature in many ways and still am lol. I want to be the best parts of Red ❤ he’s a good character model 😊
@@100samanthamarie But loosey goosey destructive lifestyle humoring every pleasure and addiction avoiding commitment to effort is stupid and miserable. You wouldn't want that for people you care about. That's judging with love. Many many people don't even want that but are sort of pushed and pressured into it because it's "edgy" or "cool", normalization doesn't help. I think you identified wrong qualities as flaws in Red. His imperfection lies in his looking down on others but not for their morals (Red's moral compass seems alright), rather trying to one-up people he perceives weaker. This sort of chauvinism bravado is his weakness, like being avert to making salad, trying to compete at BBQ parties etc.
