These are worth 200$. The bass is impeccable and the built in stereo is spot on, like the Cloud II’s. The virtual 7.1 Surround sound isn’t the best, it’s very similar to the Cloud II’s. These are extremely comfortably and the microphone almost sounds like a USB microphone with a decent pop filter. Don’t recommend the Bluetooth usage, but the wired version is definitely a 9/10
Ay that’s crazy, my headset finally died a couple days ago and I’ve been doing insane amounts of research and came across these and they really grabbed my eye. I’m glad your doing a review on them 👍🏼 good shit Frank.

Watching this with a hyperx cloud headset I got from 4 years ago. I thought I would have to buy a new one by now, but it still works like new XD

If anyone new here is thinking about buying this headset, you should, i love them and they fit comfortably on your head when u adjust it accordingly, does not hurt the top of your head as it has good cushioning, sound is really good in games such as cod as i can hear footsteps very clearly, people say this isnt that great for music are wrong, the bass are top quality even in bluetooth mode for phones and such, the mic isnt the best but not the worst, definitely a buy
$200 man. They’re competing with their own wireless headset with the flight alpha which can be used wireless on the ps4. That’s crazy man. That said they look beautiful and are probably worth it if I used it as my only pair of headsets.

This one has no 2.4 usb so flight is more like wireless gaming while this is more wired for gaming and then wireless for phone use
Yeah but the cloud flight (note not the flight alpha as you said) uses a dongle for low latency while these ones use bluetooth for phone connectivity so when in bluetooth mode you can't really name them a gaming headset

FireBladeX yeah he actually mentions it in the video, the wireless test he did was not the boom mic it was the inline mic, which is terrible, i just put a comment explaining my experience with it in the video

Other headphone companies should take some notes from HyperX when it comes to comfort because they are by far the most comfortable headsets I've ever tried and nothing else I've tried compares..

I had the Cloud 2s, and they literally felt like clouds. It's only headset I've had, that has had great comfort

Use this headset strictly for listening to audio on my PC, and use the hyper x quadcast for my mic. I LOVE this headset, for audio usage that is, due to the great sound quality, and the battery seems to last forever!
when you are in wired mode is the bluetooth completely turned off?

I know this Video vane out over 1 year, But me, who did buy these for over 2 years now, I can strongly recommend these, they feel amazing, the mic is great. If you are looking for a wireless headset you might wanna look elsewhere But for wierd they are fantastic, If I Went back in time 2 years and dident have these, I would go right into the store and buy them agien.
Are you on desktop or laptop? Cause i have them and i cant put my input and output as my headset, i can talk with my friends on discord but i cant hear any sound that should be coming out, like spotify or games, i cant find any ways to fix it. Im so desperate to find a fix but just cant find
@@greengangz Well, you might need an adapter for that, an Im preatty sure it comes in the extra little box, It has one 3,5mm inputs and two 3,5 output. Im connected to a desktop, if your computer has two 3,5 mm inputs (one for microphone and and one for audio)put the adapter in and then put the headset output into the adapter. If your computer only has 1 then they should work. Atleast my pair works on both, perhaps your are just broke when you bought them. Anyway, I Hope I could help, and merry christmas 🎄

Hello, dont they turn in telephone quality mode(8000hz) when you just want to use mic+audio wirelessly while gaming (as regular headphones does)? Thank you for answer.
I have the same issue with my headphones, so I just use a separate mic. Sounds better anyways.

The problem is, that you didn't mention, that the headset is Hi-Res certified, thats why the headset is so expensive. You dont find many Hi-Res HEADSETS at this price range, so i think the price is right
luckymomoHD yeah but realistically speaking there are almost no companies out there that activity support hi rez audio with their games, you would have to manually find and download hi rez music

okay so the hyperx cloud mix is £130 rn, the hyper c cloud flight is £70, the hyper cloud 2 is £60, the hyper x cloud revolver + 7.1 is £65 and hyperx clouud alpha S is £70. I play mainly COD competitively, which ones would be the best ?

I like base but not too much base where it doesn’t have its mids. That’s why I would choose Hyperx over Razer because they have base but not too much base to make it a fun sound
I bought these headphones and the material feels great plus the sound quality is very good

I play Rainbow Six Siege, so sound and coordination is key to success in game, but you can only choose one if you want to use it as Bluetooth, you gotta choose either sound or team coordination.

under the warranty before it ends like what happened to me!.
super comfortable headset but if you do have big ears it may get a little uncomfortable but if you don’t think about it you won’t even notice they’re on your head

I dont know if the pair I got was messed up or something but the blue tooth sound quality is terrible. when I try to use the headset by connecting it with wires, the sound quality is clearer but I can only hear it in my right ear which is disorientating for games

I have the qc35 and connected it to my pc via Bluetooth now my main concern is that it makes my headset mono instead of stereo for the microphones to work. Does the MIX also do this when connected via bluetooth and using the on board mic instead of the detachable mic? Im asking this because the built-in sound better amd isn't muffled.

I much prefer the cloud mix for quite some reasons, some of them are: you can use the cloud mix on public because they are full black and "stealthy" also they are more comfortable than the cloud flight (on my ears of course) and also they features hi-res audio which is very good for the price. But you didn't get the 7.1 like the cloud flight did. But it doesn't matter that much for me
Honestly for me it will be a daily driver and a gaming headset so it kind of justify the price on a way

Don't know if you mentioned this, but these headphones are smaller than their other headsets. Comparing it to their other products similar to this, the earcup are smaller

I realized that hardwarecanucks review on Hyperx Cloud MIX got deleted for some reason. That is very sus to me cuz why would Hyperx do that? Is it the fact that their headset is not as good as everyone expected? Or is it marketing reason? Not sure, but Frank liked it so far, despite hardwarecanucks getting the delete hammer.
