Very entertaining and informative video from you guys! I believe that regenerative braking uses the electric motors as a generator and braking action directly to the wheels! so i-pedal must require all motors for maximum braking perfomance!
Shannon, thanks for letting JT drive and show all the modes. We all know you would have it Red all the time. I once was leaning towards the Wind AWD with Tech Package, but now will order the GT Line with RWD. But will continue to be one of you many Subscribers.
Great video. Picked up my wind with technology yesterday. Loving the car. You guys have been very helpful in researching what to buy before I purchased. Thanks. Oh the new movie is better than the first 😃
Great explanation of the drive modes! It looked like JT was enjoying himself:) What a beautiful design! Thanks for the review guys:) keep up the good work spreading awareness about new EVs that are hitting the market.⚡🔆🌍
I have a GTline and the front motor will disengage in sport mode. Additionally, and I’ve tested this for 3 weeks; on flat highway speeds I get better mileage in sport mode than eco. Eco mode gets me about 2.9miles/kw versus 3.2miles/kw. It’s as if to stay at highway speeds of 75mph the single motor eco mode pulls more current than an occasional assist by the front motor while in sport mode. I daily commute 144 miles between Columbus and Dayton Oh. So we’re definitely flat there.
Great video, thanks. I was familiar with the different modes but it was really nice seeing the graphic presentation on the front display. I really like this car better than our Tesla Model 3 for a lot of reasons
My second comment of the day, decent review, not ready or eV yet partly due to charging infrastructure here in the UK but within around 18 months think I will go for it.thanks. like the inuendoes though.
Greetings from India. My Runway Red GT-Line AWD EV6 is due to be delivered in September so I’m soaking up all the information that I can get on it. Tesla has pretty much given up on India due to it’s excessive bureaucracy so it was the next best vehicle among the paltry EV options available here. I like your real life experience reviews on it’s features and performance compared to the mostly word salad ones floating around. Love the double entendres. Keep ‘em coming.
You guys make good videos and are cute together. As much as you like to buy and sell cars I wonder if you have tried the newer GT model ?Based on my test drive you would have a lot of fun with it.
Gr8 vid. Love the content. I just became a subscriber a few days ago. I'm planning on getting the 2023 Bolt. My 2013 Spark is on its last leg. It gave me everything it had. I'd love to see you in a Lucid. John Rettinger did a review of his and it took my breath away. You may have to let go of your upcoming Rivian, Silverado EV and Cybertruck to get one lol. 🚙 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
Def a believer in West Coast Best Coast! The Bolt is definitely looking more competitive since they recently lowered the price so it’s probably a good time to pick one up once the Spark goes. I love John’s review of his Lucid. It’s def a sweet looking car but your right, super expensive! I’ll still need to get my hands on one though.
Currently considering the Mach-E Cali route 1 or premium (whichever I could get first) alongside the EV6 and Ioniq 5. I love the Ioniq’s exterior EV6 has the best interior And the Mach-E for interior height (I carry tools so the vertical space could be useful) Since you’ve had all of them, I’m curious which one has been your favorite so far? I’m leaning towards the EV6. It just seems to be the best value proposition in terms of good looks inside and out, interior space, and cooled seats which the Mach-E lacks unfortunately.
Hey John! I recommend the Ioniq 5 or EV6. Both have the same battery tech, same OS tech, both charge almost twice as fast as the Mach-E on DCFC. The SEL trim level on the Ioniq 5 is similar to the Wind Trim level on the EV6 so whatever one you can find first, is probably your best option since you already like both.
@@EVandChill Note taken! Thanks for the reply. As I was writing out what I liked about each car, I realized the Mach-E seems kinda bland in comparison. And once the EV6 GT comes out?? What Mach-E? 😂 Super excited to see the Rivian when you guys get it. Thanks for all the hard work! 😌
I'm also considering a couple of EV cars but the Mustang Mach e is not on the list. It just looks too clunky and lacks the speed. The ev6 is the model I'm looking at to replace our Tesla Model 3.
Still in Rhode Island, huh? I'll pass on the "pumped audio," thanks. Can one turn it off? It was very informative to see the differences among the different drive modes. I predict you'll want to demonstrate all _8_ drive modes in your Rivian, after you take delivery.

This was an awesome and very informative review!! Happy Father’s Day btw!!

Congrats Sean on the car! You will love it!
The "I'm not surprised by your question" and onlyfans comments had me rolling! Great video, entertaining and informative format

I like Maverick more than the first! Great movie!
Ooooh drone footage!
What is the warning light on the driver's screen for?
TPMS, I changed out wheels and tires so have to get the sensors flashed.

Your intro showed a purple hue, I think I want to wrap mines that color
That will look sick!
Dear, ma'am which state and which city is it in New England. It's really amazing.
Warwick, RI
Who is your drone pilot?
My hubby
I’ve currently got a 2022 Kia Sorento Hybrid living in California with these gas prices my next car will be an EV probably an EV6
Gas prices look insane over there! Hopefully you are getting high mpg’s from your hybrid!
@@EVandChill Kia says it’s 39mpg city 35mpg highway car has been saying 44mpg in the city

They offer 3 different sounds and you can add in your custom sound if you want or turn it off.
Thanks for the info, you a mess😂
OK, I'll bite. What mode does your husband prefer when you guys are "coupling" ?
Sport mode. The performance is greater and the gears are held longer 😉
@@EVandChill Perhaps, but you run out of energy faster!
Lol very true
@@EVandChill how about 'Snow mode'? Maintain great contact when things get slippery. ;)
