Poland is so beautiful, you had great guides and I love Perogi! The Polish people I have meet have been so loving and friendly. I always wanted to visit, now you've made me remember fond memories of my friends and introduced new things to explore.
Hello Donal, I'm the girl who drove the carriage you were in :D I've been searching for this episode since we filmed it and finally I found it! While it is on Polish TV right now :) I'm so happy you liked Cracow and it was an honour for me to meet you :)
I lived in Krakow for about 6 months and I fell in love with this city :) seeing it again through your video makes me really happy and I need to visit again!
yummy pierogi! you made me miss home more today! I need to take kids to Krakow when i go home this summer :) Thank you so much for sharing this trip with us!
I am Polish! This was awesome to see! I've never been to Poland, but I have always wanted to go! Thank you for giving me the chance to see it through your eyes. The only thing I know about my Great-Great Grandparents is that they left Poland for America right before WW2. Thanks again Donal!
I've been in Kraków for so many Times but I've never thought that it can be as interesting as it was for you. Thank's for giving me a new view for this city!
Yay for Donal visiting Krakow and loving life there! Still can't get over your pronunciation of "obwarzanki" - if you hadn't been holding one in your hand there, I wouldn't have had a clue what it was. ;) Well done and come to Poznań- Ireland's most favorite Polish city! xx
Kraków is such an amazing and beautiful city! I have been to that saltmine as well, and it is such a cool and odd experience :) I love Poland in general, it's great! I had some of that AWESOME cheese at 11:20, sold by a cute old lady in the town Zakopane. Watching this makes me want to go back to Poland soooo bad :)
With my city, Toronto, being so multi-cultural, we have a small chain of Polish supermarkets called Starskys. I love their savoury pierogis including mashed potato and cheddar, onion and bacon, however, for a real taste treat and dessert I go for the sour cherry which you eat with sour cream. Next time you are in Poland, try any fruit pierogis. They're out of this world. Btw, this vlog was great. Thank you!
Oh wow, every year I visit the Toronto area and we always go to Starskys! The soups they cook are delicious and convenient, but I never tried their pierogi, potato or fruit. I'll definitely do that next time!
yeah..i was there.. it was so amazing experience.. in Prešov in Slovakia we have something like this salt mine..its also very unique..i recommended visit this place too 😊 greeting from Slovakia
Hi Donal :) I hope that you enjoy your stay in Krakow :) I'm from Poland but I live in Gdynia. I always wanted to meet you 'coz I just LOVE cooking, and I think that you're a great chef and a very nice person. I wish you were in Gdynia, but I also am quite often in Ireland so maybe there will be a chance to see you :). All the best!
Omg I've been to that salt mine! I'm very claustrophobic so that elevator was a nightmare for me lol, but it was really beautiful down in the mine so it was worth it. Did you know that even the chandeliers are made of salt? So cool :)
I've been to Krakow so many times and apparently never during that awesome food festival! The food looks great - did you try the salty cheese? What month was that food festival? do you know if it is happening every year? looking forward to other trips of yours :)
Hi! I see that you have intensive trip. I notice that despite you was tired you still keep smiling. It's nice. Did you try lard with polish bread? This lard is with spices, fried onion, 'skwarki' and sometimes with appels. It's delicious. Greetings for you, Sofie and Max.
Awesome new episode, Donal! I was wondering, is there any way for us, people from other countries in Europe, to see your European adventures somewhere online? I'd love to see last year's as well, and the ones this year look as amazing.
Donal Skehan Nope, if it were that'd be swell, but it isn't a station here. Oh, well, I'll just have to be happy with your awesome vlogs from each country, which I really love and appreciate you're putting on youtube:) .Thanks for the reply.
