Maney years ago, a friend of mine had one, Ive owned many boats in the past, but I found that version of the 20-foot wellcraft hull to be one of the best I ever fished. I always thought a rip of the hull would make one of the best bay/inshore boats ever made..We use to take it off Beaufort NC 20 or so miles offshore and the only problem was it only held 60 gal of fuel..We were powering it with a 150 Johnson at the time and it could have used a 200
But the ride in most weather was one of the best...you should keep it and enjoy it

Nice Project, that hull has nice lines and no bottom paint so doesn't appear to have been stored in the water that's good. The brown stains on the transom drains could indicate the transom going soft? I suggest you tilt the engine up then lift on the engine skeg up-down, look for flex on the transom.. Working on an old saltwater engine, not easy many of the bolts will be seized be careful not to break bolts. Good luck!

Thanks for the pointers. Before buying the boat I was pretty thorough to check all spots on the floor and the transom. It is surprisingly solid all the way around. The tilt motor is currently broken. I'm working on getting the motor going, replacing that, and then water testing the boat for the next episode!

@@MiddleClassMayhem There is a screw usually located on the right side, on the outside of the housing. Loosen it and you can lift it by hand. (You might already be aware of this)

What PSI and what tip did you use with the pressure washer?
