I researched both the 2024 and 2025 Tucson gas and hybrids. I purchased the 2025 Tucson Hybrid due to the new features, including the gas savings. I have owned a Hyundai for the past 14 years, and I have been very happy with the products.🎉

Just got my limited Cashmere brown Hybrid. Like everything about it. Got 36mpg yesterday using regular gas a nice switch from my last car. Things i want Hyundai to consider changing are: moving turn signals up from bumper, offer a donut spare, make rear headrests fold down when not in use as they block some view . Absolutely love love the heads up display that shows a lot especially blind spot monitoring as well as in the mirrors

It amazes me how people downplay Hyundai vehicles so much. Yet, Honda and Toyota are currently experiencing recalls on their vehicles. Honda with 1.7 million recalls.

It’s called badge snobbery - I’ve have 2 weeks to wait for one of these updated cars to be delivered in ‘N Line S’ trim (I’m U.K. based). I had the car for a 24 hour test drive and thought it was a great overall package, plus I managed to get a really good deal on the car.

Toyota and Honda have both gone down the sh*dder for more than a few years now. And they don’t have any style or amenities.

It is true that they are suffering many more issues than they used to. However, Kia and Hyundai customer service after the sale is several tiers below most other manufacturers. Two Hyundai's and my sisters Kia have dealt with it. Never again. It's a shame they make nice looking cars.

I went to test drive a rav4 hybrid and tuscon hybrid. The Toyota people definitely have the attitude that they think they are the best. I couldn't stand the interior... not only dated but super cramped. The center console is huge... not near as roomy. The guy asked me on the test drive what I thought. I told him the interior seemed dated etc. He asked 'what would you change?' 🤔 😂

I was really impressed with the test drive and have just ordered a hybrid - it will be my third Tucson. I am not a high mileage driver but I have not had any reliability issues yet (first 2 Tucsons 2.0 diesels).

I test drove the '25 Hybrid Limited model in red and the '25 Limited Gas model (I want the blue one). I love this SUV, this would be my first SUV and first new vehicle in almost ten years. I also rented a '25 SEL in silver when I was up North in September.

Did my homework before buying one , chose the right car as so much better than a Toyota, VW or Honda.
Reclining heated rear seats , leather interior and the technology far surpasses the other brands.
Yes the mpg isn't great but I came from an 80mpg car to this brand and bit the bullet because it's such a luxury vehicle , those that don't understand this have obviously never driven one 🤣

Thank you for reviewing the 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited AWD. I'm currently researching my next vehicle and was debating between the 2024 Limited version (better negotiating power $$) and the 2025 HONDA CR-V Hybrid Sport L AWD. Since I'm one of the few that owns a car for 10+ years, reliability is a top priority in my selection process. While I LOVED the tech, safety features (turn signal cameras!), smooth ride, and luxurious interior feel of the Hyundai, the reliability of their powertrain long term is a sticking point. Looks like the Honda CR-V Hybrid is a winner for me.

1:26 yes you can put in a spare. if you take out the foam the tire insert is still there and not a battery. You'd have to purchase it separately. I think they took it out to save weight and cost

The Rav4 hybrid gets 41/38 mpg. The Tucson hybrid 35/35. The difference will be significant if you do a lot of city driving.
Rav4 hybrid has a spare tire. No spare on the Tucson. Engine on the Tucson hybrid has a turbocharger, a potential problem in the future. But Hyundai's extensive warranty is one of the best. And for a limited time Hyundai is offering 0% financing with no payments for 90 days.

Tip 1. When you return the sunvisor to its original position with the sunvisor lamp on, the lamp mechanically turns off.
The switch is designed to turn off mechanically with the protruding part next to the sunvisor mirror.
All Hyundai models are designed this way.
So, There's no need to manually turn it off or move the sunvisor back to its original position.

Dang, no spare tire? Wonder if it would of been possible to fit one underneath the car below the battery or something. Just hate to see more and more auto makers turning away from losing the spare tire. Not all flats are fixable, and it would leave you stranded on the road essentially if it's not fixable. Other than that car looks spacious. Like the color as well

Do you have to release gas pedal for car to change gear? When I try to do fast acceleration (merging into another lane), I have to apply some gas, but car doesn’t change gear (high rems and loud noise from engine). As soon as I lift my foot, it changes it.

So what was the exterior color of that car, and what did you think of the "green/grey" interior color (if that was what you had)?

Reviewers fail to point out that you can't comfortably rest your right elbow on the centre arm rest while holding the steering wheel. This makes long drives much less comfortable. They should've made the centre arm rest overhand the phone charging tray a little to allow drivers to rest their elbow on the arm rest while holding the wheel.

Thanks for the feedback. I (and many others I have surveyed) don’t find the perspective to be warped at all, in fact, there is little to no fisheye effect compared to “superview” on GoPros. It allows you to see more of the vehicle. It is also easier for us filming to adjust in post if the camera angle is incorrect. Hope this helps explain it. Thanks for watching.

Hyundai and Kia have flashy widgets on their cars, but they just don't have the E-CVT or Hybrid engines of the CR-V or Rav4. They also use fairly cheap parts in their cabins. The car looks great when you drive it off the lot, but it just doesn't have the ruggedness of either Honda or Toyota. Hyundai and Kia have solid breaking systems and standard safety that is good to have, but I don't trust their longevity. They are probably great lease options since they lose a lot of value over the first 3 years, so a buyout option would be favorable if you want to keep it.

    • @dungeonsanddronesrpgroup

@@bmlee9113 I have driven several Kia and Hyundai cars. I recently did a test drive of a Kia Sportage Hybrid, thinking it might be a decent alternative since the RAV4 Limited is difficult to get in my state. The door handles are cheap, the interior feels flimsy. Unlike Toyota, Honda and now Mazda, which uses an e-CVT, Kia and Hyundai still have a basic transmission and far more parts that make them overly complicated in comparison.

I would have bought this if it wasnt for the awful gloss black and terrible phone charger placement. I don't need to cook my phone. Theres a reason every other manufacturer tucks the charger away out of the sun.
