      @ I work for a Hyundai dealer part time, and I drove a 2025 Limited about 3.5 hours in August. The eye tracking device on top of the steering column was maddening. It would yell at me just for looking away to change the radio or climate controls. What makes zero sense is that the car has no more autonomous driving capabilities than the 2024, which didn’t have the eye tracker.

    Just bought the 2025 Limited Hybrid. Getting high 30s mpg, tech is amazing, tons of space, giant moon/sunroof, negotiated an amazing price. Looked at both RAV and CRV, neither could compete with the options at the price. Both are long in the tooth, too. 0-60 can't compete with my Audi, but flies for a compact SUV. So far, very happy and very impressed!

    Will never buy a Hyundai/Kia until the data proves they can build a quality engine that do not get trashed before 100k miles. You can have a gorgeous interior and pack it full of features, but the "value" disappears when you have to scrap it because engine replacements cost more than the car in a few years.
    Honestly this seems like a Hyundai ad.

    Hyundai and Kia are very impressive. Remember, just a few years ago they were disposable vehicles with maybe a 3 year lifespan. Probably the most improved auto brand on the road and with the best warranty. We bought a new 2019 Kia Niro PHEV as we could not get a full electric Kona or Niro in our area. Plus, if we needed service on the electric it would be shipped 200 plus miles to a dealer set up for the electric models. So, PHEV. Man, I am sold on the Kia. 40,000 miles of ZERO repairs and only 1 recall for a overrated fuse. Dealership has been amazing as well. Thanks for the review.. Maybe my next selection from the Kia/Hyundai line.

    • @RysterARCEE
      @RysterARCEE Месяц назад

      The warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on...coming from someone who owned a Hyundai for 5 years and couldn't get Hyundai to troubleshoot recurring warning lights for a potential electrical problem with only 30,000 miles. "normal" they said. If the CEL isn't on, they won't entertain looking at it.

    Just bought a 2024 Tucson hybrid right before Thanksgiving. There is no way this car will ever get 37 City or 38 highway. I already have an email out to corporate for false advertising. I might get 33mpg in city which is fine. However, highway will never get you over 30mpg. I live in Florida and the speed limit is 70 mph. I drive about 75-78 mph and the best I have gotten so far is 28.9 MPG. I have 1300 miles on the car and it's not getting any better. Before you buy this car please do your research! Google, gas mileage on Hyundai Tucson hybrid. You will be surprised!

What happened to the days when station wagons were long enough to be useful? To be fair, there are many choices that would work for me but most of them are larger and less efficient. I get it, if the RAV4 were a foot longer it would kill sales of Highlanders. The vehicles available outside of the USA make far more sense to me. I won't even consider any of the Hyundai GDI engines. Carboned up intake valves at low mileages? No thanks!

    No, it doesnt get 38 mpg unless you drive 55-60 mph. In the city, with stop and go it gets up to 33 mpg which isnt horrible, but once again, the epa numbers dont align with reality. Going 70 mph nets about 28 mpg, which isnt horrible for an awd hybrid, but still laughably under what it is supposed to be. These are real life experiences with a new 2024 hyundai tucson hybrid, awd with the sel convenience package. Im at around 1800 miles as of this comment.

      Yeah, I'm sure it's not you or your car. An objective magazine that has been doing this forever was just driving extra slow to make you feel bad.

      @@Micahj15405 , you are ignorant. The Consumer Reports Organization does not accept advertising and does not receive press vehicles from the manufactures. They buy vehicles to test from the dealers.

    The gas mileage is great and all but you're still going to lose your ass whenever it loses all its value and it's broken all the time. Why does he why has he started recommending cars that don't last 5 years come on JR's garage got to get this figured out.
