  • Jewish Meditation, also known as Hitbodedut, is a special way to pray, and will help you find that relationship to God that you’ve been searching for. It’s easy, all you need is a quiet place, and a desire to open up your soul to let Hashem reveal Himself in your life. Jewish meditation is brought down in the torah, and in Kabbalah, and was taught by Rabbi Nachman of Breslev as the best way to achieve closeness to God, have miracles in your life, and achieve holiness and purity. Unlike the standard way to pray, Hitbodedut involves opening your heart to Hashem, and telling him all the details about the challenges and difficulties you are facing, instead of just naming a large list of things you would like to be different in your life. It helps build the relationship of having God as a best friend, instead of Him just being the man in the heaven giving us free things.
I created this Hitbodedut and Emunah 101 channel to inspire people to live a life of meaning, connected to God, full of Emunah and faith. I didn't have much of a personal relationship with Hashem (God) growing up, and I wanted more. And when you're wondering how to find God, you go to Israel. So I came here soul searching, looking for meaning and a deeper understanding of my Jewish religion. I created this channel to share all of the beautiful inspiration and torah that I have discovered here.
Obi Fink, lives in Jerusalem, Israel. He is a student of Rav Dror Moshe Cassouto, and is one of the main developers of the Emunah Channel.

Great testimony Obi! i am always looking @ Emunah videos and really focusing my thoughts on the lessons that i am learning with the help of Hashem. And i will definitely incorporate the instructions of just breathing for five minutes, that's great. Focusing on breathing is very important, i agree. Congratulations on the wedding and becoming Newlyweds. That's beautiful! You are a truly blessed man. i look forward to seeing more videos and i look forward to more and more personal quiet time with Hashem, more and more private supervision and i most look forward to more simcha, emunah and bitachon from within my heart and from up above where Hashem bestows upon us all, His Chen, Chesed and Rachamim. Baruch Hashem! halleluYah! shalom alechum Obi! Shalom!

Shalom! So, did you make aliyah? My husband and I would love to move to Israel, but we have heard it is difficult. I have been walking in Torah for seven years. I am practicing Jewish meditation as well. I am searching for complete immersion. I long to come home to Israel. Is it possible for one who does not speak Hebrew fluently?
