Yeah i bought this off eBay for like $30 brand new. Really good card but I can't capture audio while my headset is plugged into the PS4 controller which is annoying as hell. It records video quality real well.
@@TekToyzGaming using OBS on my pc. From what i read online you won't be able to capture the audio from the xr1 lite from the ps4 controller, I would need its bigger brother in order to do that since it has its own dedicated audio port.
Do you have audio? Also did you have to get a separate mic and headset? I have turtle beaches but can’t connect them to obs… I have a series x and can’t find much on this issues.
@@TekToyzGaming okay I see, do you get all audio into the separate headset your using? Like disc, xbl party and gameplay audio? Thank you. Liked and subbed aswell, speedy reply and super helpful thank you.
Worked for you straight away? Were you on a Mac? Maybe OBS had a patch since then?? Maybe a newer model? Hard to tell since some time has passed. Need some more folks to chime in on their experience.
In a case like this, you can actually get away with using one of the cheap 1080p/4K capture cards you find on Amazon as they will do 60fps for anything below 1280x720p. However, I am really not sure how it will behave with an ossc and the upscaling. If you’re willing to do the things I had to do in this video this EVGA card is a good option. It will save you some money.
@@TekToyzGaming I currently have a Mirabox which just works although I have a big problem with recording audio (This may be to do with the OSSC) and sometimes the video gets stuck on a random frame so I have to disable and reenable the source in OBS.
@@DwainiumB This may just be an issue with the ossc being the man in the middle. I experienced frame freeze as well when I had a usb hub as a middle relay with other devices connected to the hub. I had to eventually put my capture card on its own connection to my pc.
This may or may not work depending on the splitter. If you don’t have one then would have to buy one which would negate the budget price. Also negates plug n play. In which case you’d be better off getting a card that doesn’t need a splitter and supports more resolutions.
Hiya man, this is a little expensive for me , what’s the best budget one for like under 60 , I got ps4 trying connect to pc for overlay my ps4 livestreams ? What would you suggest ?
I believe Amazon and Newegg now have this one for $49. Cheaper than what I paid. Of you’re looking to go lower then that you will be stepping into the cheaper no name brand capture card territory. At that point those become a gamble, but many are pretty decent. Though I will say you risk not getting 60fps 1080p. Most will say 4K or 1080p 60, but that is only pass-through.
@@TekToyzGaming okay bro I will get this one and sorry one more question bro should I get the hdmi to hdmi cable thing not sure what it does and I’ll need a adapter for that also right ?
@@djswirley You will need 2 hdmi cables if you are using pass-through for sure. No sure which adapter you are referring to. The mirabox should come with a usb cable to connect to your pc as well. should be all you need.

@@TekToyzGaming thanks for the quick response… wow if thats the case then its false advertisement. Also i asked another youtuber (Pughs Review) he confirmed pass thru works on 1440p/120fps… very confusing
