    I just put ice on that nerve area you showed and got instant relief. (Currently chilling out on a bag of frozen veggies 😂)

    I usually just cut open the skin and unknot the knot

    I always feel like a chiropractor spend like 20 min or so telling you what's wrong with you and the other 10 min just watching the clock 😅

      It my office its 5-10 minute discussing the problem and then 20 minutes of treatment to get you feeling better.

    Hey Dr. (thank you so much for this video post) my problem is obviously a nerve issue being that I have the pain running down the back area and it also runs across the shoulder and down my arm as well. Just as you stated it would . So Is there any technique I can use besides just the ice? Will acupuncture help for my nerve problem? I have been told I am dealing with bone spurs. It affects both of my arms but one side is worse than the other. It’s really tough dealing with this painful situation & a pain management doctor wants to give an epidural shot that I’m not to comfortable with doing. Please any advice would be mighty helpful sir.

    What about if you've had that knot for over 20 years? Will dry needling work to release it? It's never really bothered me before but it's starting to now.

    • @drtoddsullivan
      @drtoddsullivan  9 месяцев назад +2

      If it is muscular dry needling will help. It might take more treatments to release the knot completely since it is 20 yrs old.

I have recently found that I may have a Fatty Lipoma at the base of the skull under the muscle that might be impeding on the nerves as well.. yay me.

      @@QuackForceOne I understand, I can't eat or drink anything with aspertame and also processed bad sugars in drinks and foods or it causes me headaches instantly and also I have a knot in my right shoulder that gives me issues at times. Life is full of fun times lol 😆 and also my stomach is sensitive because of stomach ulcers so I basically have to drink water and coffee and healthy foods now.
