What a beautiful man...one's heart just aches and weeps and rejoices with his song, Truly, he is one of the few in our era who profoundly writes and sings of what is the essence of life in our society.

Imho it's the kind of humor born out of an understanding and acceptance that suffering is a natural part of life.
Wrote a couple of "good lines"? You, Leonard Cohen, wrote a lifetime of extraordinary lines and those 'suggestive' lines have gotten many couples into trouble; for which I am certain. I know no other man's voice or poetry who accomplished that!
