- The conclusion of Adrienne Clarkson's introduction of Leonard Cohen at his induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2006. Due to time constraints on RUclips, I uploaded the balance of Clarkson's introduction and narration of the LC retrospective separately. I wanted you to be able to see and hear it all.

It hurts to see him and know he's gone. Having Leonard's personal thoughts through his poems, and song, helps to ease some of the sadness.
I never felt that Leonard received the recognition he deserved. So it was good to see he did receive a few within the last years of his life.☮️
What a man! The forms his life has taken over the years are enormous and beautiful. Somebody would have turned insane. But not this guy. He is the essence of humanity. Bow down to the master. Love the master.

The greatest as far as I'm concerned. And all that talent combined with a great wit and tremendous humility. Bless his soul. I will miss him the rest of my life.
It's wonderful that this man is finally getting the accolades and honors he deserves. We will never see the likes of this man again, so here's hoping he sticks around for many, many years to come.

By the way, no country matches the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame for quality. Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young, just to stay on the English side, easily tops what any other place on earth has produced.
