It speaks volumes, that Burt Reynolds guest hosted as much as he did. One man was responsible for that. Burt Reynolds had a self deprecating sense if humor. I think he was guest hosting when he made a joke about his "Burt n Judy" towels. "Anybody want some?"He was never afraid of what people thought.
Carson was a master of that show. If he did get aggravated, you would never know it. It was very ballsie of Burt to cut his tie. Burt was a master of spontaneous comedy. I think Johnny knew this and respected Burt. I miss them both.
I loved their interactions! They were terrific together! When they threw in Dom DeLuise, you knew you would be laughing within seconds! I'm sorry to hear that Johnny got angry about a tie! He could easily afford a new tie. And, knowing that Burt always went for a laugh should have expected SOMETHING to happen while Burt was there.
Now I can FINALLY GET A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP after finding out WHO HATED WHO.....WHO WAS GAY....WHO WAS NOT GAY......WHO WAS A COMMIE.....WHO WASN,T A WHO AH.....WHO WAS A SNITCH....this is what all this INTERNETTED NUTTINESS has done to our society in past 25 years!!!!
Well to spend 2o minutes of my life if there is no reveal ,,,won’t indulge ! For those who are looking for dirt , it is there . Wayne Newton said that Johnny Carson was a mean spirited man and detailed his runins with him . Personally I think Johnny was just an average show biz man as far as idiosyncrasies and bad behavior can be . Johnny was sensitive . He was not a monster . He was the best host of the Tonight Show and all the hosts and guest hosts were good but there was only one number 1 and it was Johnny .
Save yourself 20+ min. No video of ANY of the 'incidents', or even pictures of them. Just multiple photos of them shown over & over while some yayhoo rambles on saying the same thing over & over. Worthless...
How many times can you repeat the same thing over and over again in different ways. You took a 3 minute story and stretched it out repeating the same thing over and over.
Dude come on, the scissors and Johnny hiding his true feelings along with the rules gets repeated I don't know how many times. It isn't until 13:22 time mark before we get a hint of why we tuned in to your story. That is a long long time for us to hold on to . I understand that the longer the viewer stays on the chance of you making any $$,but this is clearly a selfish manner of trying to collect . Cut id down please to just the facts This could of easily been done in 4 mins .
Whenever he would talk on personal feelings, he would say I see many guys as good-looking as me as extras and stomp people really uncomfortable, and lucky that people see me this way
Johnny Carson was a dynamite late night host! I love watching the last show he hosted and Robin Williams and Bette Midler were hysterical and a fantastic end for guests.
He was a mean sob when drunk. Wanted to fight. Happens to a lot of kind, nice guys, lots of anger inside, coming out when p!ssed. I'm the opposite, mean fuck sober, very nice and relaxed when drunk.. !
Johnny’s genius . He chose well for his last public show as he called It . His last show was for staff and us the public . Yes friend we were the guests on the last show
Both My Wife and Mom loved Carson. He was beyond his years, as I think. Sure, He started as a magician, but him reproducing the same act too many times over on The Tonight Show bored me. To speak of Burt- He, as well as many of His guests were the main attractions to His Show. Paar & Leno were better, as They d
Johnny was smart enough to know that audiences roaring in laughter easily translated into good ratings
Like all of his guests, Burt's relationship with Johnny was all on the show. Burt was a great guest and Johnny appreciated it. No more or less.

Carson was the best
Reynolds added to the show
Colbert will never come close.
Colbert is uniquely himself........ I miss Johnny every night..!
Colbert is a no talent creep
ICONIC is such a grossly overused word.

It would have been nice to have seen the actual film clips …I kept waiting to hear Bert speak but it never came 🥺
Who wants to hear this guy talking? Why can we hear it from Burt Reynolds?

This video should be titled "How to stretch a 60 second story into 20 minutes".
I would rather have listened to Bert than you.
not too good as you cannot use actual sound bites from Carson show, so it is all just explained by the announcer guy.
We saw Freddy Prince after watching Chico and the Man series. He was really funny but was depressed.
Too much circler talking, nauseating, ughh !

This guy repeats himself like 20 times on this clip

What was the shocking truth about Johnny Carson?
Johnny Carson was a dynamite late night host! I love watching the last show he hosted and Robin Williams and Bette Midler were hysterical and a fantastic end for guests.

Johnny so uptight big deal he could’ve bought 50 million ties, and omg someone touched me!
He needed to trim those eyebrows
