The family's story is legendary (whether you're a fan or not); there has been no American family covered as extensively as The Kennedys. RFK was killed over 40 years before Ted Kennedy died, and to hear the raw emotion of Joseph Kennedy, honoring not the Senator from Massachusetts but his UNCLE, is very powering. We all are fascinated by his father and his uncle's lives; but this really drives home the impact that those tragedies had on this FAMILY.
OK, maybe this guy--Joseph P. Kennedy--sometimes loses his audience, and maybe the jokes fall flat here and there. But you know what? He BELIEVES all the right things and is sincere as hell in his desire to do what's right for the country and the world. I hope he's elected to Teddy's seat once Victoria's interim service is done.
Lovely job-these folks love Ted and feel the loss. But they obviously love each other too. Those are some good family values... How sad to be so full of hate (as some show here). May you be judged with more compassion than you show when you leave this earth-karma can be a bitch.
When he does that, he tries not to cry and gets all choked up. If you watch on youtube here under "RFK 25th Anniversary Memorial Mass at Arlington Cemetery". He even did that there. AND there is nothing wrong with laughing at their own jokes and stories.. they do it to cheer themselves on, get a grip.
