Damn thats gorgeous, the strap doesn't do it justice though, i think a nice bit of leather would be my pick. That grade of bronze is more expensive to produce as its not as common as normal bronze, great material as it wont patina as fast as the tin copper bronze and is a bit harder too. Great reveiw, thanks.
I really like that it comes with the tropic strap. They have the best tropic straps I have ever used IMO. They are thinner than most tropic straps and finding thin ones is very hard. I’m a big fan.
"Brand defining watch"? Well, considering I never felt compelled to buy a Baltic until the Hermetique I have to agree!😄 I got the brown one and I love it! (The crown is fine for me.) My favourite bronze alloy is the one Christopher Ward uses; lovely and warm! ❤ I'm afraid I don't like the alloy Baltic uses; too cold and yellowy for my taste. I disagree about the cashback; keep it slim I say.
I really want to like this watch. I almost wish they would have used a sunburst dial similar to their bronze divers. Also, a leather strap would have been a big plus. This one seems almost confused in its design language whether it wants to be a dress watch that can be a GADA or a field watch.
That's the same complaint (and unpopular opinion) I have about the Seiko Alpinist -- whether it is a dress watch or a field watch. I actually like this one a bit more.
Looks good. But, not looking for this type of watch right now. Idk? When I had the Aquascaphe in bronze and the tropic strap it came with was actually kind of stiff and not that comfortable. Maybe they've changed the tropic strap they use now. Main reason I sold it was the domed sapphire crystal was a bit too distorting. Could never get a good clean read on the outer markings (tended to disappear) and larger Arabic numbers look twisted and I had to convince my eyes the numbers were printed straight. At least this Hermetique has a cleaner read through the crystal.
It's possible. my top tropics are Tropic, then joe bonnie, then nivada grenchen (this feels like the same as theirs - probably same factory) uncle straps is way to stiff and plasticky for me.
The Hermetique comes with FKM tropics, so softer than the classic Aquascaphes shipped on. I’ve owned both. Aggree with the crystal on the classic, that had too much glare and imo.
I don''t know.. I love all Baltic designs but this one- to me the bronze whether darkened or polished doesn't quite gel with the white lume blocks. I'd love them to do something new in the square/tank genre.
@@AMore429 you type like a kindergartener, which isn't surprising given the fact that you're complaining over a $650 watch? Consider getting a job or going back to school. You could also go play in traffic that way, everyone would be happy.
Watches are so delicate and intricately designed, so I have intense respect and admiration for MAMACOO watch makers
I bought the beige last year at the Paris office.
Love it.
MAMACOO's always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of watch 99% of people will never see.

A copper tin bronze can actually range from basically silver, all the way to basically copper in appearance, depending on the ratio of copper and tin.

For a 37mm watch I wish the L2L would have been shortened to 45mm but overall a beautiful watch!

I love a sunburst dial for sure. And I did wish that as well but it's supposed to be a rugged tool and maybe the sunburst is a bit too fancy for that

Sooo pretty!
Yeah it's very unique!
Bronze is probably more because they don't buy them in as great quantities as stainless and is a smaller, limited order for them.
A big crown would give it a more sporty look. It looks to dressy.
sweet watch!!!!

Shut up dude
Just change case material and nothing else. When a micro brand runs out of ideas but still want your money 🤦🏻♂️
No one’s forcing you to buy it. I swear some people are so obnoxious for no reason 🤦♂️
@ I gave my opinion about the watch if you don’t like it, keep scrolling or take a long walk off short peer and it will solve your problem, beeoch
