- We've been saying for a while that it was only a matter of time before the encryption on the factory ECU was broken, and the flood gates of custom tuning would open up for modern Fords. All else being equal, it should make a little more power to the wheels since it is on a considerably lighter tire.

One thing you should really get the Baxter Performance oil filter adapter to one with an anti drain back valve. Worth every penny for longevity.
Now i really want to add all these parts to my Braptor, but im also wanting to hang on for the new K&N cold air intake i got the S&B for my TRX and after the K&N came out i wish i had waited
Will you be offering or planning to give a solution to our detuned european ranger raptors? I would assume with a tune and a mechanical removal of the ppf we would get them up to US horse power levels

Bro been waiting for more on this lol I have the same mods but the Magnaflow Exhaust on it. Only issue is my valves aren’t working correctly now. All modes work but not baja. Gave to figure it out but not happy that Magnaflow hasn’t even answered my email yet.
I've got 3.5 ecoboost so I want to pick a company and stick with them! I gotta make my first pick count! LOL

I just read your thread. Did you just swap ecu's with another tunable one (probably from an f150)? I thought you managed to hack the original ecu encryption.. You almost got my hopes up.
Swapped to an F-150 ECU. Progress is being made on cracking others though.
Will any turbo upgrades be installed ?
At this point; we need more octane, not more boost. That's what we're looking to tackle next.
How much longer to apply this same setup to a Ranger Raptor? Are the computers basically the same?

Umm how are those stock Head studs gonna hold up with 22 lbs of boost? I think that is gonna be an issue . Just my opinion..

Rule of thumb i dont take advice or get tuning done from a tuner or shop that runs vehicles with the hood open.
Logically its just stupid if we are being honest. Especially woth a open filter setup...
We covered this on the channel over a decade ago. In the real world you aren't doing stationary WOT pulls. If you'd like a more in depth discussion head over to SVTP and I'll be happy to explain various dyno'ing techniques in greater detail.
