3.0TT motor should be making some more jam with the mods you have so far. I wonder what's holding her back. I'd expect around 100whp gain with a good tune, intake and exhaust.
is this even comparable with the regular bronco spd performance downpipes? im assuming the stock raptor ones might be a little more sporrty than my wildtraks, and I already have a performance intake, tune, bpv, and catback exhaust system. i think I might get a little more out of the downpipes because of that but 1.7k for 10 or 15 horsepower plus a ton of labor doesnt seem appealing when I could get the mishimoto performance intercooler kit for 1.6k and gain 7 horsepower but significant cooling properties and durability.
Many tuners that are familiar with the ecoboost platform have said that downpipes will not yield the power gains you might think they would. You’d have to upgrade the turbos the see the benefits. Imo it’s a waste of money to only gain 10hp. 3k for 10hp 😅
@@SVTPerformanceI have these downpipes and the Magnaflow exhaust was an absolute pain to install but it works. The issue was SPD messed up and machined one pipe incorrect where the vband clamps down so I spent two hours just widening the hole to fit correct.
Makes me wonder if the SPD downpipes had similiar heat shielding as OEM if the gains would have been more significant, I was expecting more like 20hp and 10-20 ft/lbs. Ranger Raptor with the 3.0 picked up 20hp and 18 ft/lbs with similar downpipes. ruclips.net/video/pAmVdSxAmtw/видео.html
@@SVTPerformance I've had these SPD downpipes for a couple months but haven't had a chance to install yet and I've been looking at heat shielding options. Would you anticipate heat shielding to help on a primarily street driven Bronco Raptor?
Focused on the wrong raptor guys. The ranger is superior in just about every way. And if all you want is speed, the stock ranger R is faster than the stock bronco R, 700 lbs and not running on moron 35s is a big deal.
Great content, thanks for taking the time to post this
Thank you, appreciate your video's, always informative and useful. 👍
Thanks. If you have any other questions, it's best to ask them on SVTP. Link to the thread for this install is in the description.

What’s was the work time involved for the removal and replacement? I’m interested in this purchase.
How long was the install from start to finish guys. Awesome video. Thanks
Probably about two hours with the proper tools and equipment. The hardest part is getting the factory ones off in one piece.
why i cant get the drivers side (o2 sensor blue conector) reach the stock one? when installing the down pipe?
SPD told me to swap the drivers side to passenger and vice versa. Did you try that?
Wow, I was expecting significantly more than 10hp. Thats disappointing.
We expect the difference to be much greater as power increases. We're currently tuning limited.

This is very typical gains without a tune. With a tune probably an extra 50 hp.
Where can I buy these downpipes?
Will these downpipes work with the MagnaFlow exhaust?
Potentially, but it's a long story. Post a thread on the SVTPerformance forums and I'll give you all the behind the scenes details.
@@SVTPerformancePotentially? The downpipes directly bolt on to the OEM exhaust. There is no reason they wouldn’t fit the Magnaflow system.
I don’t see why not

А если убрать катализаторы???))))))))) повышение ещё будет!!!)))

Those would qualify as O/R pipes.

Love the content. But come on guys… really? All that work and expense for 10 hp? Keep looking for improvements.

I have the Explorer ST and want those downpipes. Do they throw the check engine light? Will they pass smog?
