@@SamCarLegion absolutely. When I told a friend that he would get better gas mileage using 93 octane rather than 87, he laughed at me. One of my 4 cylinder cars has 347,000 miles and it still uses the original timing chain, original tensioner, original timing chain guides that were installed at the factory 31 years ago. People are surprised that a timing chain can last that long in a tiny 4 cylinder engine. I do 2,000 miles oil changes on conventional oil (Castrol GTX). i doubted that the oil alone could explain the unusually long life of my timing chain. All my cars use 93 octane. I stopped using 87 octane about 15 - 17 years ago. It was about 10 years ago that I began to suspect the impact of low octane rated gas on timing chains. The stability of the explosions inside the cylinders sends some type of vibration or shock wave to the timing chain system. High octane rated gas is very very stable and probably sends little to no vibrations or shock waves to the timing system which helps with its reliability and longevity of the timing chain and engine. In the first 4-6 years of auto ownership, you probably may not see the difference between using low octane gas and high octane gas as far as the effects on the timing chain parts are concerned. You want very very stable explosions in the cylinder, and this is what a low octane rated gas cannot do, and why I dread using low octane gas. The explosions inside the cylinder matters a lot.

Explorer ❤❤❤❤
I think it looks awesome in person. You'll feel very safe in it with so many ricers on the streets. Throw some winter tires on it and do a review in the winter when there are 2 feet of snow on the ground. Bet you'll find it terrific.
I don’t doubt it, but not a good daily for my taste
@@SamCarLegion I don't think Ford built for daily city driving.
@@bearpaw9150 they build if for off road which 90% will not spend.
@@SamCarLegion exactly. It's a weekend toy or can be a daily for a rich dude living in the boonies
I have one of these 2024 and also 2020 F150 raptor and I disagreed with many points of this video.
well, a review is a review and I disagree with a lot of things. However, for a $100K, Ford could've done a lot better and yes, this thing is a lot bigger than you think even though I daily drive a full size F150 Raptor, I was surprised of its size.
In Toronto not all drive through car washes allow these things to go in. I was told no at one place
😂😂😂you definitely trolling
This thing is almost a bad carbon copy of the Jeep Wrangler, except with the performance…but it’s like they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery….
I have driven the 392 wrangler - Bronco is far better than. Minus the fact that is slower
86 inches wide less 12” fender = 74” 😂😂
Waaaaay overpriced considering the other Raptor variants in the family.
1) 80 km/h is 50 miles/h NOT 40 miles
2) that is an off-road ready car, and you complain about noise?
3) You are not supposed to dailydrive that thing in a crowded city.
4) In general, this is not a fair review.
5) 👎
1 ) thanks for googling for me
2) 90% of the time this will not see dirt, yes it’s important that buyers know it’s loud. The defender is an off-road beast, it’s a treat to drive daily
3) you would be shocked I have seen a lot of downtown Toronto
4) In general u just don’t like other opinions only yours
5) stop watching reviews if you can’t accept some criticism, you don’t own Ford Company
I forgot to mention: it’s weird when you like your own comment 😬
@@SamCarLegion
Thanks for your quick response.
I don’t need to google it, each mile is 1609 meters.
If that car won’t see dirt it’s not the car’s fault, but the owner’s.
Defender? Then I would say G63.
Nothing is wrong with liking your own comments.
@@peymannorouzi4165it’s weird liking your comment…cringy
@@johnnybegood2078
How about reviewing a car on RUclips not knowing the km to mile ratio AND being so biased?
That guy is not American
lol rocks are funny
This video doesn't make sense
Explain?
Do you have a learning disability?
Looks the part, but too pricey for what it is intended for.
Lol it's not that big idk what your looking at but have you seen a chevy thao is even bigger or a Suburban
People pay 100k for anything 😂
Save 50K and get the Explorer ST...more room, can dust plenty of competitors and can haul 6 .... better deal. I got a 21 ST and my neighbor has a Bronco, not the Raptor and he can't look me in my eyes🤣🤣🤣
The Explorer ST is no where near as cool or off-road capable as the Bronco Raptor. And that’s coming from a Wrangler 392 fan. The Explorer ST is a decent daily, under the radar vehicle though I must admit.
@@RJ_100Agreed! Dude is comparing something designed for hauling the kids to soccer practice (albeit faster :) vs hitting mountain trails. Two totally different animals, if staying on the city streets is your thing stick with the exploder. If you want to air it out up in the mountains bronco all day! BTW I have a bronco, on my last oil change at the dealership he tried to get me into an explorer. Don't think he got too upset with me laughing him out of the room 😂 needless to say, was a hard NO THANKS!!!
The Raptor can do things that will break that Explorer in half. Comparing them in any way should be a crime lol.
@@junky4x4 sure..take your 100K truck and scratch it up like your driving in Dune. After that Quality #1 Ford product break on you on the lamest trail ever, you'll want the fast, get often recalled family hauler.
@@doriandenard5846 I didn't get the raptor, bought a black diamond for 48k. Considering I was looking into side by sides that were 35k I felt like I got a lot more bang for my buck. This I can daily if I want, don't have a large family to haul around and takes me anywhere I want to go. Out here in Wyoming there's plenty of terrain I'd never take an explorer and expect it to get me through and back home. To each their own, wasn't talking crap, those explorers are fast and can look pretty good as well just depends what your intentions are I suppose
This video pertains to the men that is used to not driving a truck and a smaller vehicle. I know real women and men driving off road machines like this or far more advanced vehicles with no problem or complaints. If you represent the typical Canadian person, please eliminate all off road vehicles from Canada! Leave these vehicles for the real territory where it can be used. I advise you to quit your complaining first off. You obviously aren’t used to vehicles like this. Keep this away from yourself and stick to reviewing little cars which seems that suits you better
Damn you hurt boy 🤣🤣
I just put a two dollar down payment on one.😅
loool
The gears are different that's all
Most people won’t take this off road this will haul children and groceries. Dirt .1% it does the same thing a regular SUV do.
Vote trump under 2 bucks.
Sam…you’re getting soft. I took the Raptor on an extended test drive and thought it was very comfortable and quiet.
True the S class and Lamborghini Tecnica have made me soft
It’s an offroad vehicle why would you compare it to a little compact car silly Canadian. It’s purpose built for off-road.
Did you mean to release this video on April 1st? You actually compared a Hyundai Veloster to a Ford Bronco?!?!?!?!?!? Stick with something you know like your Hyundai Veloster. Regretfully, added one to your views.
Butt hurt much?
No way,he did not take it off the dirt road, its grossly over priced under powered and not as capable as any of the competitors.
The idea is to have a daily driver, you can take into some back woods or trails to camp fish.
It's a status toy for college kids with wealthy parents.
With our econony, it is a garage queen.
It looks cheap inside and blocks your rear view.
The thing would make you hate it if you drove it every day.
It will depreciate,30% in the first year.
The engine is a punched out turbo 6 that will carbon foul at 30,000 miles, and rather than clean intake ford will hit you for 10 or 12 thousand for a new turbo.
Watch it until the end, I did.
Its not supposed to be small. Does he really think a Bronco is supposed to be a car. Smh...
No…i was just showing you the actual size if you have never seen one.
I wouldn't buy a Ford bronco Raptor... but if Chevy would stop making horrible decisions and build a bronco Raptor competitor, I'd buy that . But they won't.
No point
Bro you know about fj cruiser 🤣
Another pointless machine?
@@SamCarLegion 😄😄
@@SamCarLegionI miss up bronco video and just start watching your 6 months old legendary video on Toyota Tacoma 😅
Did you really just compare the size of a sedan and a Bronco Raptor? 😂😂
If you’re spending $100k on a car and don’t know what you’re getting, the joke is on you.
I was just showing the size not comparing
This is the worst review ever….
So many points that make no sense… ur giving a review like ur a car owner that hates big vehicles. I have one and it has great visibility there is no such rule that you should see anything behind you since ur back window isn’t required for viewing at all. It’s actually the only window on the vehicle that you can put solid graphics on. The size compared to car is just asinine it’s literally intended for on road and off road fun… imagine taking that car to trail… hmmm or let’s make the bronco smaller so this guy will not complain and see how it handles off road rock crawling or Baja…. Anyone who buys it for daily or otherwise that complains about its size should have bought a damn yugo lol 😆 the issues you have with this vehicle are truly childish and whiney poor me my bigass bronco is big…. Huh lol
Don’t get so emotionally involved - you don’t own Ford, you just bought their car. Relax your ponies and watch the entire review
Stick to Ferraris my guy
You should watch the video until the end my guy
@@SamCarLegionunfortunately I couldn’t finish it 😞
Yeah I got my Sequoia TRD PRO and laughing it up at these bronco raptors…….price and resale value makes zero fckn sense
Insane cost and markups
This is a pointless review. Do the same review on a trail and see what happens.
It looks ridiculous. The graphics are odd. They could have made it look a lot better.
What a beta. Who looks out the back window. Thats why they have mirrors. The Hyundai is too much for you!
Good drivers look behind all the time. Did you order your license from WISH??
Full of nonsense
Explain? Interested in your opinion ( BTW Ford can not sell these junks)
This is the worst review I have ever seen. This guy
Thanks for the comment. Why?
These are not selling well they will discontinue then they will go way up on price
