I plan to look into this bedding if/when I get an RV. I have back issues that need a firm mattress and am picky about what I lay on. Thanks for the tip.
I really enjoyed the vintage RVs! They were very much like the( WWI, WWII, Presidential, etc.) planes ✈️with the make and technology-that was also cool to watch, as well as the fun meet-up! Thanks for sharing, and have a Great weekend!🏈🎊🌄🏕🤗
Sometimes the best camping spots are the unplanned ones. That is one of the beauties of fall rving....so much easier to find an alternate spot, and reservation hardly necessary. As always, safe travels...
That vintage Winnebago at 15:40 brings back memories galore. A 17’ Mini Winni was our first motorhome and started a lifelong love of camping and rving.
Love Traveling Robert He shows more of what you’re looking at unless of the inside of the campers and all the toys that people buy and use it’s the right combination. A lot of us don’t have the energy or time or ability to do all these things online and just want to see what America makes the beautiful mother nature country it is, beautiful . Could be more.
Oh my god! Of all the random places! I stayed for a night at that Dumplin’ Valley a few years ago! Loved it there! I’m so happy to see a random, non chain park that I actually stayed at!
Thank you for the tour! Love seeing the vintage RV’s and manufactured homes. The evolution of traveling for reasons beyond necessity is pretty incredible… it’s hard to imagine this has been a “thing” to journey with a home on wheels for well over a hundred years! These examples were awesome. So sorry about your HH experience, sometimes it can be a hit or a miss I guess. Wishing for better luck in the future. You never disappoint in showing an honest and natural approach to your stories and adventures, no matter what a day may bring. It’s probably one of the main reasons why you’ve been so successful. Here’s to another great season… right around the corner!
We were at the RV Hall of Fame a few days before you, and we were also disappointed. Especially because we were supposed to boondock in the parking lot and were asked to leave. On the bright side, we have an excuse to go back. Just not at the end of September. 😁Safe Travels.
You have such a great singing voice Robert!! Did you mention that you sang in a band in the past? I enjoy your traveling videos and accompanying music.
Goooood morning, Robert! I was in Elkhart a few months before you-- I stayed just down the road from the RV park at the Holiday Inn Express. The RV museum is really cool! The Spartan Mansion is a lot like the Spartan Manor that I stayed in at the Shady Dell in Bisbee. I really liked the furnishings in the manufactured houses -- I also had a SoundDesign stereo just like the one at 10:48. (I checked out the albums they had in the rack--one of them was "The Arbors Sing Valley Of The Dolls" 🙂) I know you've driven the Avenue of the Giants--did you see the 1917 "Travel Log" RV made of redwood at the Humbolt State Park Visitor Center? If not, you have an excuse to go back. Until next time, happy trails!
when you go to hershey ,try to go down rt.82 from west chester to coatesville through the brandywine valley. some of the most beautiful scenery in Pa. colonial batle field and farms everywhere, andrew wyeths estate the state artist. worth the ride.
Robert that jazz rendition of your theme music hit different today. (entering the museum) How do I remove your voice , just joking or maybe not. As usual, great video and thanks for sharing.
Thank you Robert for showing us the history of RVs. I had no idea it goes back that far in history. Maybe we can count the caravans in Biblical times that traveled the deserts in the Middle East as RVs of a sort. Although it was mainly tents they lived in the people brought all the comforts of home along with them. It’s an interesting topic to look into. Again Thank you for taking us on a journey.
I remember the Ponderosa steak houses. They were started by Dan Blocker who played Hoss on Bananza the tv show back in the 60’s. Dan and his family moved to a small town named O’Donald in the Texas panhandle. It’s a 1-2 hours up the road from me. His parents had a grocery store and for a while the family lived in the back of the store. Dan was big for his age and when he would fight more than one kid he’d hold one off with his hand and fight with the other. That’s where he picked up his fighting style he used on the show.
Question, I’m looking at a 2017 mini tini it’s at a great price. I’ve heard buy used for now because 2020 and later models seem to have more issues , what are your thoughts?? I think they are asking like $15k for it and looks in great shape
If it looks good... I would get someone to inspect it just in case but that seems to be a good deal. 2021 was a rough year for the RV industry. Lots of supply chain issues. A solid 2017 may be the way to go.
It's been very reliable except for a computer module that shorted out, but something happened because we blew a few fuses and tripped breakers in the trailer. I love it.
Back when we were looking for an RV years ago, we visited Elkhart and a few manufacturers. One tour guide turned us on to Rise and Roll doughnuts. He called them "Amish Crack". And we never visit the area without getting our fix!! In fact, it was our first RV video on RUclips - ruclips.net/video/64riGt3IZlo/видео.html
HH has changed with the new ownership. There are many more hosts but IMO, many are lesser quality and just odd or quirky. We're very picky with HH choices now a days, we read both the statement of the host and member reviews. We're noticing more hosts who are demanding payment for what should be a mutually beneficial relationship. The HH owners need to screen new hosts better and filter out hosts who don't meet the HH guidelines.
Microwave and stove got damaged by the vibration from the roads in Alaska. The issue with the lights was with the truck. A computer module shorted out.
Totally agree about Buc-ee's, it's too popular for RV's to navigate and the people who elect to get gas and leave their cars at the pump do not help. It's getting to the point I avoid it most of the time. It is too bad it has come to this.

Enjoyed the vintage rv tours. Loved the retro 50s look and they seemed so welcoming and more like home.
I don’t know why. But I just love your open road drives with some music. Great video Robert😊

The museum was cool. We've added it to our list, it's only about an hour from family so that's a bonus.

That Winnebago looks like the Brave that we had when I was a kid. We drove it from VA to AK back when the Alcan highway was still dirt.

Thank you for sharing. Sorry, your Harvest host didn't work out . Love Elkhart Indiana.

Dumpling Farm campground looked very relaxing
Happy Valentine's Day to you, Illy, and Mom!!🤗🤗🤗💖💖💖💖💐🍵🌹🍷

Love the museum tour 👍
One of these days I'm going to use your riff 28.45 for a song. Maybe we can call it Buc ees 😂

I wonder if there is some company out there still in business to convert pickups into class C motorhomes. I was blown away by the 1970's RV.
We love Texas Roadhouse! We find it’s very good value for your money.
Wow. I was surprised that you'd never been to a Texas Roadhouse. Or as we call it, "Ponderosa with a liquor license."lol

The RV museum is a Harvest Host, or at least was. We stayed overnight there before we toured the next day.
Yes it is, but not during Open House
@@TravelingRobert Good to know. 👍🏻
I canceled my harvest host. Some works great for but never for me.
Enjoyed it Robert❤

@@TravelingRobert thanks Robert! I appreciate it. Hope all is well ,safe travels
should try longhorn if you like texas roadhouse. Prob my fav chain steakhouse.
Texas Roadhouse is a much better value in my opinion!😊
@jpjp3873 prices are about the same but I prefer longhorns food. I like both though.
Nice looking museum mr robert it looks cool when is the best time to visit the museum?
Probably summer.
@@TravelingRobert idk If should say this but happy valentines to you and Illy
Another great video Robert, thank you! How do you like your Chevy pick up? Any problems since you bought it?
It's been very reliable except for a computer module that shorted out, but something happened because we blew a few fuses and tripped breakers in the trailer. I love it.
Great video as always 👌 👍
Hello Traveling Robert, we definitely enjoyed the RV'S. I would love to become a Utuber and explore the country. How do I do this?

What all did wb repair in trailer? And exterior trailer lights broken as well? Are these quality concerns?
Microwave and stove got damaged by the vibration from the roads in Alaska. The issue with the lights was with the truck. A computer module shorted out.
sorry that things didn't work out for you robert
short vid but good

Manufactured. Like virtually every product. 🤣 all my belongings are the manufactured brand. 🤓
What hitch are you using?
I currently have a Husky
What happened to your ProPride hitch?
