Another favorite video. My list is growing and hard to choose the number one so far. Absolutely gorgeous. Robert, we need a master class on how some of us can do this maybe not through an RV but how to get to some of these places and still create an income while traveling. And please nobody else pitch anything, this question is strictly for Robert. Thank you
As usual, your command of your video, mixed with your excite editing and narration provided a breathtaking start to our Sunday. Thank you, thank you. Your talent and attention to detail make us winners each week, as you take us on the road.
Umm... Robert's married u know.
Thank you Robert….I would never get to see any of this if you hadn’t shared it. It is so beautiful 😊
Why don’t you just go.
My favorite part Robert was when you said to celebrate our accomplishments we’re gonna get some bar food and an ipa 🤣🤣
I've learned to eat before watching Roberts' videos.😁🍺🍔🥨🍕
I went there a kid mid 70's,I was so scared driving up and down. I can't believe they have a race here every year.
GREAT......""Safety First"" you did not forgot your """hiking shoes"""......BEAUTIFUL Scenario.
Very awesome and beautiful, Robert. Thank you so much. for sharing!!❤
Another nail biter, Robert. You win my best driver award!! Beautiful scenery.
OUTSTANDING LOCATION, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VIEWS 👏 👌 👍, ENJOYABLE TRIP, THANKS.
The views from Pikes Peak were spectacular, but the ride up and down looked scary!
Thank you for another beautiful video Robert and Ily. I watch you all the time. Safe travels. From Avril Maroon, Cape Town South Africa. 🙋♀️🙏
Good morning! Early happy 4th of July! I have been watching since 2013. Your videos are welcoming, well thought out, entertaining and informative. We too traveled for a few years and it was life changing. Alaska is one of our favorites, to this very day we plan to visit again. Colorado is like you say, “Did I tell you how much I love the mountains!” We continue our prayers for you and Ily, maybe one day “We will see you, on the road!” All the best to you my friends, blessings and safe travels!!❤🎉
Good morning from Palm Harbor, Florida. Enjoyable expedition Robert! Thanks for taking us with you. 😊
I will leave that brave drive to you and others! Wow...hardly any rails! Not for the faint of heart...as you say. I really wanted to see the amphitheater but I guess that wasn't in the cards this time for Valley of the Gods...guessing your not allowed in there without an event going on/paying? I really want to go to the Valley of the Gods one day and take photos...maybe...some day...oh that was funny when you slid down the mountain a little lol...i was like...is he gonna do it? And then you did it! hahaha...looked like fun!
Thank you Robert for sharing the drive up Pike's Peak. You couldn't pay me a million dollars to drive up there with all the steep drop offs.
It's great that you got some time in Garden of the Gods with very little people. The park looked beautiful 😊 There is no way I could make that drive up to Pikes Peak 🤢 I'm glad you could make the drive so I could watch, the views are amazing 😊 Thanks for another great episode Robert!
We just returned from CS, we took the COG Railway to the summit of Pikes Peak, the most amazingly beautiful views I have ever seen in my life.
I visited the Garden of the Gods years ago and loved it. We rode the cog train to the top of Pikes Peak….beautiful scenery.
Отличное интересное видео! Планирую посмотреть эти места. Природа Америки необыкновенная!
That’s one of our favorite drives to make. We can’t wait to go again.
I saw and loved the video! It was very peaceful looking with the Garden of the Gods,🏜🌄 and your sliding down the snowy hill at Pikes Peak looked like a lot of fun!⛰ Well, goodnight(my time🥱😴) for now, and I hope that you and Illy have a Happy Fourth of July!🎉🎉🍽🍽🏞
Truly spectacular video. Love the scenery, the peaks and the clear blue sky!
Yep, years ago my friend and myself drove up to the top of Pikes Peak and got one of those foam beer coolers for a beer or soda can when we were at the gift shop up there. It said Pikes Peak 14,110 feet. (I guess we had 5 feet less snow than the 14,115 feet the monument says now.) It was friggin' cold up there, man. I'm glad he was driving. 😁
Garden of the God's looks like a very cool place... That summit at Pikes Peak was super cool too! Thank you Robert for another amazing video! Stay safe out there
Oh Robert, you're in my home area. Live just north of the USAFA. Wish I had known you were here. I'm a fan! Great video ! After 35 yrs here, I still have to drive thru Garden of the Gods occasionally. Every day here is a postcard !
Drove thru there last Oct. From our vegas trip coming back home to Tennessee. I lived in Miami for 47 years.
All i can say is WOW !!!!
Thank you for sharing Robert.
Adding it our bucket list destinations
It was so delightful seeing you sliding down the slope. Recapturing your youth and the thrill that comes with it as an adult.
The garden of the Gods was terrific.
Thank you Robert sharing these Adventures with Usm
I was born and raised in Colorado Springs. Thank you for a beautiful video. It makes me homesick❤
Awesome Mr. Robert, what a beautiful place. Thank you... 🍻
Nice to see you Travelling Guru also i see you recovered pretty good from your leg injury....stay safe and travel.
I have just discovered your videos about a week ago and am loving this series to Alaska- where I want to go via cruise or whatever! Thank you for this drive to Pike's Peak! Due to the altitude, I doubt if I will go there, so it's great to see the views vicariously with you & Illy!
We've been away for awhile, but we're back watching now. You make such great content. Thank you, Robert. Watching your videos brings much peace to a hectic day and a divisive world! You make us all remember how united we really are. Cheers!
Great video!!! Can't wait to see the footage from Alaska!!! Have a safe and happy Independence Day!!!! I am grateful to live in this great country.
Good Morning from Ashville Ohio Robert.... Happy 4th of July weekend!! Stormy, rainy and Hot here.... Yep it's summertime in central Ohio!!! Have enjoyed your videos for years!
Thanks for such a great video looking forward to my visit to the garden of gods
Hello Robert,
Love your videos, the last time I commented I said my wife had ALS so we reminisced our many trips by watching your videos and that was how we traveled now. She passed away May 5th so now I watch and remember when we were there. First time to Pikes Peak we went right from Colorado Springs and experienced the light head, like a hangover. Second time we stayed at Woodland Park (around 8500') for a day before going up and it was much better.
So sorry for your loss.
That was terrifying, but I'm glad you got to experience such amazing views.
Absolutely beautiful!
Very beautiful, thanks ✨🕊️
Great video, thanks you very much Robert. Have a good day.
Breathtaking!
None of these walkways existed in 1993 while I lived in the Springs, It has changed so much I felt lost around all the parking areas ! The old welcoming center is no longer where I’d known it to be ! The Souvenir Store has changed a lot as well ! But the beauty of Gods handy work is alive and well ! Love 💕 the place ❤
Spectacular
Hey Robert, greetings from Springfield MO! I'm on my own summer road trip, not quite as far-flung as yours, of course! Besides getting a headache and feeling a little out of breath at that altitude, you have to watch out for HAFE (look it up 🙂) I think you could use just a little work on your snow sliding technique. Looking forward to hearing more stories from your Alaskan adventures on the next chat! Happy trails!
HAFE... hmmm that explains it. Just kidding.
So spectacular 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
What a beautiful place!!!Thanks for bringing us along,virtually 😍 ❤️
Thank you, Robert, very interestin !!! ЛАЙК !!! 😊👍
It’s like your head is going to brush up against the clouds, so amazing. Thank you!
It was great vlog... covering pikes peak !! 👍
My favorite part of this is how you never mention how the garden of the gods ever formed. Very informative
Great video again, Robert! Love Colorado. When I was 11, we were in Cripple Creek in the morning and drove up Pikes Peak in the afternoon. A nearly 70 degree change. Incredible!
Excellent thanks 👍🇺🇸
You where so high up on the mountain. I thought I could see Flordia. Awesome views
Love Colorado Springs!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL scenery Robert ...... "Thank You" for sharing your adventures with us all, sir !!!!!
You should visit Washington State, too, with Mt Rainier & Olympic National Parks that are so breathtaking 😍
Robert- you got The Shot! A magnificent view of the Garden of The Gods!
Wow. That was so incredible. Couldn’t believe how much snow was up there. There are no words for those views. ❤
amazing nature Robert
Hello Traveling Robert, WOW! Garden of the God's and the drive up to Pikes Peak...MAN...that was Absolutely AWESOME! I can't wait to see what's next in Wyoming. Speaking of Wyoming, my brother and I have both visited Grand Teton and Yellowstone, so im wondering if your heading that way. Hmmmm...I can't wait to see what's next. AMAZING VIDEO ROBERT!!
Very nice Robert...keep it up! 😀
New subscriber here, just wanna tell you how much I love your vlogs and if I ever do travel it'll be the way you do it.
Incredible!! Also, you got to see snow on the ground, and falling from the sky!!
Nice!! ❤❤❤
Thank you
Pikes peak...awesome! Thanks for the ride!
Hey Brother you had the comments turned off on the video. But that Magic City Lewis and clark song is in my opinion your best song!! It was on your youtube topic channel. Nice to have all your jams on there. Dont get me wrong I like Desert Rain and all the classics...
Another great video, thanks Robert.
You need to hike the amanitou Incline 2000 ft vertical in less than a mile
..maximum steepness 68%
Great job
I felt compelled to comment. I just start watching your videos recently and you have some great content and this one brought back some great, but distant, memories. In 1990, my buddy and I went to Albuquerque and drove to Colorado Springs with a day trip to Boulder and Rocky Mountain NP. I forgot about the lack of guardrails and think next time in Colorado Springs, I will opt for the cog railroad. We did not go up Pike's Peak. The best we did was look at it from a huge picture window at a mall. I am SO looking forward to your adventure in Alaska. I LOVE our 49th state. I am hoping to do the same as you within several years. Safe travels and thank you so much!
Perfect morning 🌄 walk 🚶♂️ after a cuban coffee ☕ with a melted cheese and ham sandwich 🥪 sounds like the perfect start specially when it's boiling hot 🔥 in Florida...
Wow thankyou for being so brave!! We really enjoyed your video! We went to GOTG but where to scared to drive to Pikes peak. But I feel like I did after your video. We didn’t get to go on our usual 6 week vacation out west this year because our trailer was damaged from a rear ender crash. Didn’t even get out of Florida. Can’t wait to get back on the road again. Thanks again for your video❤
This was another masterpiece! It’s great that you find these unusual places to visit? Awesome 😎
I will always remember when me and my family went to Colorado Springs when I was 13 , 51 years ago we stayed in Estes Park, back then we took a bus on a scary gravel road to the top of Pikes Peak, I am terrified of heights and vow to never go up a mountain again, yes its beautiful and all but my knees were shaking lol.
one has to love early mornings. Excellent stuff once again. As always, safe travels....
Been there it's beautiful
Thank you for sharing. Visited both Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak a few years back. Makes me want to go back again soon.
Thank you, Roberto! I really enjoyed this trip! I hope, one day, I can also take this trip along with my family. Cheers from Puerto Rico!
Another amazing video Robert!!
The road looked a little dicey for the faint of hearts. I would need a parachute installed on my car to go that high 😊
Have a nice safe holiday weekend to all.
Ty so much for your video. I went to Pikes Peak in 1989. Was so dang foggy we could not see anything half way up. I was able to see what I missed through your video. Love your adventures!
A MIAMI Guy sliding down the slope? LOL!😎😎😎🤣
Sweet! I love these sneak peek edits. That one cyclist climbing Pikes Peak at 22:08 is a beast!💪
Loved Garden of the Gods and your hiking there. Somehow we missed that when we were there. The drive up Pikes Peak is spectacular. Great to see it with lots of snow. Every week is a new adventure. Loving it!
Hi from West Palm Beach! We were out there a few years ago and got talked out of driving to the top of Pike's Peak. Regretted it ever since, will get back there one day and do it. Thanks for the memories! Wave on the next trip home to Miami as you pass!
If you come to Denver try South Table Mt easy hike with great view of downtown Golden and Coors and Denver..Also you need to go up Dakota/Dinosaur Ridge and go to the side trail to the dinosaur footprints...while you hike an easy ridge with hwy 40 beneath you
Enjoyed the video. Great job, Robert.
Hi Robert, Loved viewing your Valley of the Gods and Pikes Peak, we did that same route in June 2017 and really fell in love with the trip. Way to go.
Great video, Robert! You visited at a perfect time: great weather, still enough remaining snow to enhance the scenery. When I visited Pike’s Peak last, I took the cog railway from Manitou Springs. That was a spectacular ride to the summit with some sections steeper than a roadway grade. Highly recommended.
If you want my recommendation,if you get a morning like this you run the peak first as soon as the gate opens at 7am and it don’t stop and most likely you will have some time when it’s quite and you can look out over the horizon and make out the curvature in the distance and how the sky starts to darkens, also nothing beats reflection time to yourself.
Another epic adventure.
Loved seeing the snow ❄️.
Triple digit heat wave here in Florida.
Another great episode. I was at the top of Pikes Peak 13 years ago. Need to go back.
Will be doing this in 2 weeks. Dallas to Mt Rushmore area then over to CO, stay at my sisters near estes park, then down to Manitou Springs
I almost had a nervous breakdown when I drove up Pikes Peak and seeing your video gave me a panic attack! Good video and great place . In the beginning of video you drove past Buffalo lodge I stayed there it was good
That Sony FDR AX53 is really good for zooming in and out.
Lovely video taking us to the red rocks garden and up the mountain. Robert please be careful on snow, it ices up real slippery under your boots before you know it!
Great video! As many times as I have been to Colorado, I have never been to Pike's Peak. I definitely need to make an effort to go next time.
