How to Fix Sliding Patio Door Not Locking - Patio Door Lock Won't Latch or Stay Locked

Recently I replaced the lock on my sliding patio door. But for some reason it's not locking. I'm pretty sure it worked when I first did the repair but there's definitely some wrong now. In this short video I'll show you the easy fix for this problem.
Just to be sure, I need to confirm that the latch mechanism is working first. But the problem is that it's not hooking onto the bracket in the door frame. It's possible that somehow it got moved or shifted. But upon closer inspection I can see there's space in the screw slots for adjustment.
When I loosen the screws, I can just slide it down. With this simple adjustment it looks like it fixed my patio door. The door is now locking the way it's supposed to. If this video was helpful please give me a thumbs up and hit the subscribe button to stay up to date on all my DIY videos!
